user, its not about removing power from the police, its about arming the individual because we cannot always rely on the police
Adam Cox
Why not? Is the police too far away or untrustworthy?
Carter Adams
they are too far away in rural areas and too untrustworthy in urban areas
Parker Phillips
defending your life from imminent danger is a right here in the US The rest of the world can fuck off and do whatever they want who cares
Alexander Miller
USA >What do you guys do all day World >We such each others dicks! We're fags!
James Scott
wew, benefits of living in a multicultural and state level governing country. If America would ever accept a national government that enforces laws on all states there shouldn't be corruption and inept abilities
Brayden Bailey
local gov + state gov + federal gov is the best way
Samuel Ortiz
I'd rather everone be safe than put man against man and justify killing (criminal or defenders side) as being american
Jacob Parker
It doesn't apply to you nor is this an actual political discussion. It will be a bunch of non Americans spout off muh feels arguments and refuse to accept any data on the gun violence being linked to race. I put sage on all of my dishes.
Chase King
((())) >multicultural and state level governing country >implying that's a problem.
Brandon Flores
>taking the bait
Samuel Gutierrez
Isn't it really time consuming if you want things done? In the commonwealth since all our govs were cucked by England, they basically follow the Westminster Parliamentary system. I don't know too much about that but once Parliament manages to pass a law/regulation etc, it's enforced nationwide immediately or when soecified date. The only recent example I can think of is when you guys made it legal for gay people to get married
Noah Lewis
it allows us to experiment a little with laws, for example legalizing marijuana or gay marriage
Wyatt Lewis
I don't even understand what you're trying to say Guns are illegal in Mexico and look what happens , people still get guns
Hudson Roberts
That's because their government is shit tier. In a functioning society the gov would have very strict rules and regulations and no black market bullshit. Why do you think countries like Japan and especially south korea don't have guns despite being so close to Russia?
Luis Thompson
This
Daniel Ortiz
and it turns out America is right.
Cameron Gomez
YOU SAY 'NO' TO MY AR-15, YOU FUCKIN' PRICK! YOU AIN'T GONNA ABLE TO SAY 'NO' TO ME WHEN I GET TO YOUR HOUSE, YOU MOTHERFUCKER!!
Henry Sanchez
>>Implying your government isn't shit tier
Julian Thomas
Please tell me, OP, as simply as you can: Why do I need to justify defending myself?
Jordan Sanchez
What's with the flood of cucks, socialists and commies on this board???? fucking shit. Physical removal required.
Not a single self-reliant american man?
Elijah Jenkins
when your police are doing no knock raids, murdering dogs, or driving around in mraps maybe it'll be an issue for you as well.
r you too young, too ignorant or too stupid? maybe too pampered?
what do you do if your multicultural central gov (the only ones with arms) just decided that it will deprive you of your rights? Of course its for your own good. Keep quiet and don't resist.
Josiah Adams
i think you misunderstood. i am pro 2nd amendment and against gun control.
Dylan Collins
US likes black market bullshit We like freedom more than safety
Joseph Johnson
>Why do you think countries like Japan and especially south korea don't have guns despite being so close to Russia? actually there millions of hunters in Japan who own firearms. but guns are a part of American culture in a way that is not replicated in any other land
Ian Cruz
As technology advances, eventually automated systems will stop crime before it happens using predictive algorithms (We are testing this in the UK for prison sentences).
Do you think you will need a means to protect yourself once the technology has reached this point? Where police can stop crime instantly?
Bentley Robinson
Have you tried painting all cops guns like OP's image?
Josiah Thomas
>As technology advances, eventually automated systems will stop crime before it happens using predictive algorithms I doubt it.
Logan Jenkins
I have guns and ammo. Try to rob me
Angel Ortiz
>vigilantes A responsible citizen is the best government a nation can, and should have, and all government should be subservient to it's citizens, without even a possibility for total oppression. You can't stop attacks from happening. You can't get rid of all dangers. You probably don't (and shouldn't) want to restrict crowds from assembling. We want people who can and will take responsibility for themselves and their neighbors. If your society can not do that, it is not a society worth having.
Michael Phillips
Lol that's my revolver in the OP.
Tyler Sanchez
You can monitor their phone calls, online activity, recent purchases, track vehicle movement etc. Using a combination of this information plus deep learning technology, the AI can predict the next course of action (Once fed enough samples to be accurate). Then it an alert the authorities and advise them on the best course of action.
Colton Phillips
Division of power. The Feds have their enumerated powers, and the power of the States are "broad and general". Of course, D.C. has been edging toward the type of statist centralization you seem to be proposing for decades now.
