Trump is president of the US he should only be critical of his foreign nations and officials on the same level as him, and his only concern should be foreign relations in Britain.
Khan is mayor of London and British citizen nothing more, he should be worrying more about "his" city than the affairs of the US president. Trump is not kahns president nor does he have any say in foreign relations with the US. Trump however, can be critical of the way the British government handle domestic terrorism as, terrorism is an international issue.
