Brit/pol/ - Election Special, 44th edition

>At a glance
Most likely situation is a Tory+DUP coalition, meaning some people will be tricked into thinking they are getting a hard brexit while still getting 300k+ migration per year
DUP already outlining a soft brexit as part of the terms for propping up an enfeebled Tory party
SNP getting blown the fuck out
Exit poll proving to be correct so far
Nigel Farage will probably go back into politics.
Conservatives might just about win it.

Even if Theresa May goes, and the Tories win... they're still going to censor the Internet.

Owen isn't happy lads

OH GOD, I'M SO SORRY.

IT'S FUCKING HAPPENING

PM BORIS JOHNSON WHEN?

...

Getting a Karen in for the lads.

>Mason

Fuck off

SOON

Corbyn must be stopped at all costs.

Paul Mason could honestly die tomorrow and I would feel nothing.

>Tory HQ will want Theresa May to change her style

lol

...

...

it all worked out well in the end

...

The forecast says CON are short by 8, the DUP has 10. Why the fuck aren't they urgently going into a coalition? they can literally win

...

General Thoughts:

>Conservatives:
Absolute disaster and May's position is now untenable. Woeful campaign backed up by equally poor decision making. Coalition with the DUP has to be the primary option. Not sure who should be in the leadership consideration. Rudd? Johnson?

>Labour:
The madman actually did it. I will totally buy the narrative that the student vote pushed them to these heights. There's no way middle England voted in good conscious for this old socialist coot. Labour's online resourcing was incredibly strong, well deserved.

>Liberal Democrats
Absolutely desperate for a.) a leader of notoriety and b.) a unique selling point. A second referendum just isn't a unique selling point at this point going against the pull of the Labour party. Will get worse in a hurry.

>Scottish Nationalist Party
A well delivered message repeated far too many times. It's just not happening within the decade, the numbers aren't there for independence and when other issues are being lost it's just too much baggage for people.

>UKIP
Deserve everything they got. Party is an absolute shambles ruined by infighting. Had a serious apprentice in Woolfe, ended up with a comical effort from James and Nuttall. Any referendum swerving breathes them life but most likely waiting for the morgue.

Ben is a moron if he thinks that is why the Tories fucked up this badly, this shit is all on May

By what logic, (((Ben)))?

BIN'D

...

This is utter shite. He doesn't know what he's talking about.

...

coalitions don't just magically form

>Mason: Looks like we'll take both Plymouth seats
YOU TOOK ONE AND THEY BOTH DECLARED AN HOUR AGO

Boris Johnson is basically Reddit, the candidate.

Because there are still more seats to call first?

These threads go so fast

No one will notice that I say you should all drink Buckfast

>34 to declare

Can they hurry up, I need sleep.

...

...

They need to let the election actually end
Figure out leadership
And then not seem too desperate

Why does the BBC iPlayer always bring up the fucking video loading bar on the video every time I switch tabs.

Fucking beeb is useless when it comes to online video.

...

>Tory+DUP
Why are you forcing this? Is this how desperately upset you are, or are you just borderline tetarded?

Why do we persist in putting women in leadership positions? Incompetent and embarrassing

Bless her soul. She wasn't that bad until the end and now she can leave with honour.

You'll never be PM, Michael.

I do hope that Corbyn isn't going to forget all of these sad little cuckolds in his party who did everything they could to undermine him and are now asking for patronage

WE DID IT LADS WE'RE BACK TO PRE-2015 ELECTION NUMBER OF SEATS

What are some good films about complete losers?

Christ how long are these 33 others going to take? I want to go to bed.

Enough of this shit, I'm just depressed

Post slags

Clearly Trump was the real boss of the shadow government that ran south korea, when they fiund that out, they impeached the president

It's either that or another election. I don't know if the tories want another election immediately after this nonsense.

IIRC the last few are really remote and generally aren't done until about midday.

Jacob Mogg Reece

>Tezza

This desu,

Thatcher was a fluke.

...

>HERE COMES THE PM

you wouldn't be happy?

He's a jew but he's right. May has looked utterly pathetic fawning over Trump and refusing to cancel the state visit.

It is the only choice.

Game Change about McCain/Palin.

>+14.5 points Lab
>-15.7 points LD

This is very strange.

I've honestly never seen so many LD signs around here. It's truly mental. I even saw a single house with 3 signs. Obviously that's not proof of anything (unless you're a Bernie fan), but the amount of LD signs is WAAAAY up on previous years; further this is a Remain stronghold (76%).
It also used to be a LD cabinet seat (Lynn Featherstone). And I also got endlessly pounded with LD flyers and campaign junk, but very little from Labour. This is a LD heartland. Based on the sheer amount of campaigning they did here, the LDs clearly thought they could win it.

And yet the LD vote share is way, way down. The LDs somehow got less than the Tories got here in 1997. But again - in LD heartland.

And if that weren't (((curious))) enough, the LD downturn almost exactly mirror's Labour's upturn. Like Labour were somehow taking votes from the LDs (without campaigning or having a famous and relevant candidate).

But not only that; the LD final count was EXACTLY 10,000 votes.

Bit weird, innit?

...

...

Well one piece of bad news is that vote-share for leftwing parties (lets count Tories as rightwing for the sake of this comment) Labour + SNP + Libdem is now>50%.
In the last election UKIP + Tories were > 50%.

But then the Tory party isn't really rightwing anyway.

They will later when the results are final mate. It's not a race at this point.

The Cons are the only ones who can form a government so there's no rush for them. You should be more concerned about who becomes the new leader.

I'd honestly rather we kept May, even if she is a fucking awful leader, is is pro hard brexit as it stands.

If we get a soft brexit Tory leader we're done for.

>now she can leave with honour

Leaving after fucking up an easy win election has little honour.

You think he'll run? If he does I think we can assume that we'll all support him here,

I had to unfollow this prick after tonight. So much drivel.

st. ives normally takes ages cause of scilly

His balls has actually impressive
He held off the leadership fights and proved all the doubters wronger than ever before

Is there anyone actually right wing in the Conservative party? For leader

John Redwood & Moggy maybe

...

Did YMCA show up to rub it in maybot faces yet?

...

JUST CALL THE ELECTION ALREADY

>american thinks everything in british politics revolves around america

...

well she was just a man in a female body

He could literal see a Tory surge with Boris. He has the meme, twatty student vote behind him.

What do you mean?

>London still has a few seats left to declare

L A B O U R S U R G E I M M I N E N T

...

Should I get another G&T or should I drink water and prep for bed?

Hitchens posters need not reply.

>the slow, crushing, demoralizing realisation that we will still have free movement of people and trade with the EU after our "brexit"

The Wales one and Richmond park I know are recounts.

...

she's a tory voter too

daily mail will never recover from this

>what do you mean our 40 page Jezza is a terrorist special glossy pullout didn't work?

Yes archive.4plebs.org/pol/search/username/YKTD/tripcode/!!hn7ASgIZ1vE/

haha won't be much of a fight when every tory is ready to stick in a knife in her back

>Crewe & Nantwich
>remote

The thing is lads, as much as I'd love another election (for the bants), it would probably yield the same result

he got banned for spamming cuckold porn.

It was former UKIP voters really more than students.

UKIP down by 11%, Labour up by 10%.

>tetarded
I really don't know.

>we could have a David Davis premiership by Monday

My dick is rock solid

UKIP isn't and has never been right wing. Just because they're not cucks that doesn't make them right wing. Their voters just went to labor because they liked Corbyn and UKIP without Farage has no personality.
