>At a glance Most likely situation is a Tory+DUP coalition, meaning some people will be tricked into thinking they are getting a hard brexit while still getting 300k+ migration per year DUP already outlining a soft brexit as part of the terms for propping up an enfeebled Tory party SNP getting blown the fuck out Exit poll proving to be correct so far Nigel Farage will probably go back into politics. Conservatives might just about win it. Conservatives are just as bad as Labour
>Recently called results Amber Rudd keeps seat Labour gain Colne Valley with a 5.5% swing Labour win Halifax with a 5.1% swing Anna Soubry keeps seat Amber Rudd loses seat Alex Salmond loses seat Labour win Lincoln with a 3.1% majority Labour win Derby North with a 4.1% majority Con hold Bexleyheath & Crayford with a 20.1% majority Labour gain Canterbury, held by the Tories since 1918

General Thoughts:
>Conservatives: Absolute disaster and May's position is now untenable. Woeful campaign backed up by equally poor decision making. Coalition with the DUP has to be the primary option. Not sure who should be in the leadership consideration. Rudd? Johnson?
>Labour: The madman actually did it. I will totally buy the narrative that the student vote pushed them to these heights. There's no way middle England voted in good conscious for this old socialist coot. Labour's online resourcing was incredibly strong, well deserved.
>Liberal Democrats Absolutely desperate for a.) a leader of notoriety and b.) a unique selling point. A second referendum just isn't a unique selling point at this point going against the pull of the Labour party. Will get worse in a hurry.
>Scottish Nationalist Party A well delivered message repeated far too many times. It's just not happening within the decade, the numbers aren't there for independence and when other issues are being lost it's just too much baggage for people.
>UKIP Deserve everything they got. Party is an absolute shambles ruined by infighting. Had a serious apprentice in Woolfe, ended up with a comical effort from James and Nuttall. Any referendum swerving breathes them life but most likely waiting for the morgue.

I've honestly never seen so many LD signs around here. It's truly mental. I even saw a single house with 3 signs. Obviously that's not proof of anything (unless you're a Bernie fan), but the amount of LD signs is WAAAAY up on previous years; further this is a Remain stronghold (76%). It also used to be a LD cabinet seat (Lynn Featherstone). And I also got endlessly pounded with LD flyers and campaign junk, but very little from Labour. This is a LD heartland. Based on the sheer amount of campaigning they did here, the LDs clearly thought they could win it.
And yet the LD vote share is way, way down. The LDs somehow got less than the Tories got here in 1997. But again - in LD heartland.
And if that weren't (((curious))) enough, the LD downturn almost exactly mirror's Labour's upturn. Like Labour were somehow taking votes from the LDs (without campaigning or having a famous and relevant candidate).
But not only that; the LD final count was EXACTLY 10,000 votes.
Bit weird, innit?

Well one piece of bad news is that vote-share for leftwing parties (lets count Tories as rightwing for the sake of this comment) Labour + SNP + Libdem is now>50%. In the last election UKIP + Tories were > 50%.
But then the Tory party isn't really rightwing anyway.
Liam Nelson
They will later when the results are final mate. It's not a race at this point.
The Cons are the only ones who can form a government so there's no rush for them. You should be more concerned about who becomes the new leader.
I'd honestly rather we kept May, even if she is a fucking awful leader, is is pro hard brexit as it stands.
If we get a soft brexit Tory leader we're done for.
Caleb James

UKIP isn't and has never been right wing. Just because they're not cucks that doesn't make them right wing. Their voters just went to labor because they liked Corbyn and UKIP without Farage has no personality.
