>At a glance Apparently Theresa May has no intention of resigning - working to form a govt based on being largest party in seats and votes, meaning some people will be tricked into thinking they are getting a hard brexit while still getting 300k+ migration per year DUP already outlining a soft brexit as part of the terms for propping up an enfeebled Tory party SNP getting blown the fuck out Exit poll proving to be correct so far Nigel Farage will probably go back into politics. Conservatives might just about win it. Conservatives are just as bad as Labour
>Why did it happen? The number of UKIP voters going to Labour was underestimated. They ran a very insincere campaign. U-turns on social issues undermined her authority. People fell victim to the soft brexit meme. Manifesto negatively impacted Tory voting core.
Amazing. What a misfire. Total boondoggle for the Conservatives.
I never bought into the BS that Corbyn was unelectable. People signed up in droves to vote for him in the Labour leadership. He was exciting non-voters. He was filling stadiums of people. What he did was challenge the status quo and the status quo in its bubble refused to believe he would be electable.
Labour didn't win, but they made positive progress
Stop arguing autistically about this point now please

Well, SNP was BTFO, hopefully that continues in the future. Corbyn is alright for a Labout MP and May is bad for a conservative one, so this seems like exactly the result that would result in the fucking of thr globalists as much as possible.

Tories let even more pakis in.

Well, I just joined the Conservatives. Not because I support them, but because I am going to go there and tell them how retarded they are for allowing this to happen. I may not have been pleased with consensus politics, but I at least felt as though the country wasn't going to fully turn into a train wreck. That Labour result however shows that the current Tory party are inept. If anything, I see this as the time to start trying to influence them, whilst I don't think they will make that more right wing shift, they're going to have to start listening a bit more if they want to take back a majority. Either way, I refuse to sit on my hands and do nothing anymore.
Robert Walker
SNP still have most scottish MPs though. Long way to go until they fall off the map. If theres another election this year they may do better in that one.

Yes, I'm sure that UKIP and the Tories bled votes to Labour because more right wing policies are needed.

reposting: Huh. So there exists a sizeable portion of Scottish voters who want to leave the EU, but want to stay in the UK, but hate Thatcher and conservative UK politics?
Is that not a little contradictory?
I was under the impression that resistance to Corbyn came from the conservative vote they've picked up since the late 90s (and from corporate controlled media).
Is there any party in uk more conservative than ukip? They are basically liberal republicans here in us. Who are true conseratives in uk?
Julian Brown
There should be a ban on the SNP for being nationalists and lose all their seats I shut snp voters up by calling them racists and bigots for wanting Scotland to be free?
"Free from whom? Refugees and people of colour fro England? Fuck you racist I know your game"

Not when you consider just how fucking inept the Tories have been in recent years.
Besides which everyone hates fucking Thatcher.

W-what if they do an angry make-out session?
Luis Lewis
Not really lad he's winged a minority off a very fucked up Tory opposition mainly in what were always labour heartlands. When you think that labour was taking 60-70% vote shares in the past two decades it's nothing great, it's almost the minimum you'd expect after the slating they got last election from the SNP and the Cons. Sure he's achieved that minimum with a very different manifesto and party alignment but by nature of two party states it's not remarkable.
