That's a good theory you have set up, though I'd be in favour of allowing certain threads - Syria General, brit/pol/ - to go untouched by Pone posts, as those threads already have a subculture within the board culture.

Pollposter here. I think the two could have the rules merged, mostly. There are few if any clauses that do not meld.
I would advise against keeping /mlp/ threads "separate" -- the two can have crossover WITHIN threads.
The only rule to note is that porn threads must be dedicated and fetish porn threads cannot exist. Either a rolling porn thread or something like that, to limit the window but keep it there.
The general porn rule of Sup Forums would then apply to all other instances.
If this isn't good, we could just continue the no-porn Sup Forums rule and keep up the aforementioned merge of amicable terms.
