I'll see an indie movie I like every once in a while, but that's about it. Hollywood does not even create "artistic" films of any kind anymore. The Amazing Gaythiest had a video about this topic, and how Hollywood just uses statistical analysis to pick movie topics that will appeal to the masses, so they don't make anything challenging or edgy anymore.

I tried sitting down and watching one after a few years (thinking I still loved them), and I just couldn't stand it. So I tried watching another, and couldn't stand that. Anytime somebody got hurt, I just felt sick, and any plot was too predictable and annoying.
