We'll be sure to send some catholic pro life politicians to congress

As long as you gibsmedat

Are Puerto Ricans white?

I wouldn't be so sure about the Democratic senators part. It used to be that Democrats opposed statehood for Hawaii because it was so Republican and Republicans opposed statehood for Alaska because it was so Democratic. I have vague memories of reading that Puerto Rico has historically been very Republican despite it's Latin culture. Of course things may have changed.

>spics
>white

Depends on who you talk to

CIA world factbook says over 70% white...but I assume what is meant is "white" as in lumped together with light browns

What will the current 50 states benefit from the entry of Puerto Rico in the union? For the 51st state to exist it must bring added value to the nation or else, the USA is just letting itself get exploited by clever slave descendants.

It's currently very Democrat because they rely of gibs but you're right in the long run it might be more of a swing state or lean Republican state if the Republicans play their cards right

Not white as White Race. But white as "clear" skin.

>implying a vote with barely 25 percent participation will even be entertained by Congress
Dropped

This is a good thing. More spics in the US = faster decline = more probability of race war when we have a chance of winning

nobody gives a shit about the GOP's party platform

Puta Rico is a cess poll of corruption and low lives. They need to clean their shit up before becoming a state. Build a lot of jails coming up.

tourism and sheeit

New flag, two more senators and some states will lose seats in the House if they don't add new ones.

nope

DROPPED

Do not nationalize more fucking spics wtf

Those are not benefits

>it might be more of a swing state or lean Republican state if the Republicans play their cards right
Assuming the GOP Establishment and cuckservatives are actually competent....

Both parties are run by the zionists. The whe government is. Don't you see, based what you know about their bullshit plans this helps them further drown out Europeans in america.

>it might be more of a swing state or lean Republican state if the Republicans play their cards right

This never happens.

They unfortunately are already citizens, this is just about giving them representatives in exchange for taxes. They wouldn't pay in more than they take I'm sure though.

MERGE THE DAKOTAS

MERGE THE DAKOTAS

Will you clear out their favelas before or after statehood?

Fucking leaf trying to steal republican senators and bring us down to your level. Merge rhode island into Connecticut if you care.

fuck that. this country has too many catholic spic voters

there won't be a race war. you'll just get outbred like Afrikaaner and Injuns

>Hispanic Catholic only 67%
This can't be right.

Don't forget several more democratic congressmen.

Only 23% of the PR population voted:

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Puerto_Rican_status_referendum,_2017#Results

Do the results even count if 77% of population didn't vote?

So you're saying they'll be a blue state?

Why does the GOPe support that? It's just like them signing the amnesty bills. I get both sides being Jew stooges but you'd think they'd not support stuff that gives them less chances of getting elected.

Brownies will always vote for Dems b/c gibs.

That's a nyrican abomination, this is what happens when a latino mixes with a north american.

% of the country that voted for Trump=.267%
% of Puerto Rico that voted for statehood=.223%

I'm just saying.

Those decimals are off, but you get the point

The difference is that the American election had a 60% turnout with 2 very close candidates.

- the other states have to vote them in
- could take 10-20 years for them to join
- US may just give them independence, cut them off.

>the GOP platform

most of that stuff isn't serious
all kinds of shit goes in to the platform as a concession to the loser
I think there's something in the GOP platform about banning pornography lol

PR is mostly catholic. It's a 50/50 chance that their senators will be red or blue.

Most PRs are anti Trump leftists, right?

>implying that means anything
What the fuck is your point?

>The difference is that the American election had a 60% turnout with 2 very close candidates.
The point is representative sample is representative.

Requiring some arbitrary share of the population to vote before a result becomes valid is fucking stupid because there's a fairly steep fall off with gains in accuracy relative gains in sample size.

The raw share of a population that supported something isn't the standard for our most important decisions as a society, so why should it be the standard for something like this was my original point.

But if you want something more based in math and shit, see

I'll only believe PR becomes a state when it actually becomes a serious matter to congress, congress has ignored PR for a long time.

>CIA world factbook says over 70% white...but I assume what is meant is "white" as in lumped together with light browns
yep

>Are Puerto Ricans white?
I'd say 40-50% are

Literally who cares anymore? The Republicans have the house, the senate and the presidency now and they haven't done a goddamn thing.

>immigration and wall
lol no
>repeal Obummacare
replace with Drumpfcare

I'm voting Democrat from now on, acceleration-ism is the final redpill. Maybe they'll crash the dollar before we're completely overrun.

youtube.com/watch?v=J4W4D9giUO8

or two more Marco Rubios, remember he was manufactured in San Juan

How do they benefit us a territory?

Becoming a state gives them a chance to scrap their territorial government and start over.

It's a beautiful place.

If the GOP is smart they will support this and win the love of a relatively conservative population.

Marco is reliable enough.

Forgive all their debts and CUT 'EM LOOSE.

I think Trump could seize onto it as a good public relations issue.

Nice blackpill shilling

>Forgive all their debts and CUT 'EM LOOSE.
this actually sounds like a good idea but believe me $72bn will be hard to forgive

voter turnout for this vote was under 25%, it was quite a joke
$8m down the drain on advertising for statehood wasted, this will probably be ignored just like 2012's vote, although on that one 30% of the ballots were handed in empty so i guess this one has more legitimacy, even when very few people went out to vote and those who are against becoming the 51st state didn't go out to vote.

i don't think that would help at all, his supporters believe we're a welfare state and that our debt would just hold back the US, and the democrats don't seem to interested in the island either. wouldn't help public relations much besides the 5 million puertorricans living in america.

How long do you keep planning to make that excuse user?
>Goldman Sachs cabinet
>Bombing Syria
>DREAMers
>GOP is doing jack shit

Why would they keep waiting now??? They're in. They have all the power, we "fooled" the shitskins. There's ZERO reasoning for them to "hide it" anymore. Hell, they KNOW they will LOSE votes by allowing the DREAMers or God forbid Puerto Rico to become citizens.

I'm not blackpilling, i'm facing the reality of the situation. This won't get fixed in the voting booth.
Stop bandwagoning and think for a second you fucking child.

In the US though, turnout doesn't matter. If people don't vote they don't get represented, and that's their choice. If no minimum turnout is established by law it literally doesn't matter.

I don't think many Americans think about PR at all. The US is on the hook for their debt either way, as long as they're a territory.

5 million Puerto Ricans could matter a lot in swing states like Florida.

I hate to tell you, Puerto Ricans are already citizens.

...

Not enough turnout for their plebiscite

Menos 35%

We're already citizens Cletus.

As long as they're not mulatto or mestizo mongrels

>5 million Puerto Ricans could matter a lot in swing states like Florida.
most of them are concentrated in either new york or florida, so yeah you might have a point there

i believe congress can invalidate this vote if they deem the turnout to low, as for here there aren't any voter turnout laws. i'm not big into statehood, i think we should be made a proper freely associated state first and remove the restrictions on american ships being the only ones allowed to commerce with us, so we can work on cleaning up the debt and building relations with other countries, and when we are in good shape to be let go, be made independent. this is a bit of a pipe dream tho i gotta say lol

The house is legally capped at 435. So some states would lose some seats. Probably Commifornia

>23% turnout
They should not take this seriously.

No, no, no.

They are literally insolvent.

PR will never be red. It is worse than California in terms of gibs and corruption.

>I have vague memories of reading that Puerto Rico has historically been very Republican despite it's Latin culture

The party that seeks statehood is known as "the republicans" but is now a mix of both national parties. IIRC the GOP has been officially for PR statehood since 1946.

BTW you got latin (actually hispanic) culture backwards.

>Turnout too low

>Voter turnout was just 23 percent, leading opponents to question the validity of a vote that several political parties had urged their supporters to boycott.

>hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories/C/CB_PUERTO_RICO_STATEHOOD?SITE=AP&SECTION=HOME&TEMPLATE=DEFAULT&CTIME=2017-06-11-17-26-34

They're citizens**, not citizens.
You obviously know what I meant based on the context here cunts, they'll get congressmen and electoral votes.

Stop deflecting

They will NEVER be red. Imagine California with NO whites.

PR is corrupt to the core. Fortuno was the only sensible man (read, tried to make the deficit manageable) he failed miserably and they voted in someone who embezzled from the state afterward (but he gave gibs so it's ok).

Puerto Rico is the only island in the Antilles that was not a plantation island. Unlike the rest its value for Spain was for the navy. That is why the city of San Juan is walled and fortified.

Puerto Rico was the last port for Spain's bullion ships. Safe harbor against hurricanes and pirates. In order to protect the strategic port of San Juan the crown decided to have loyal european farmers settle the island. Of course some did have slaves and hence we have mulatos.

Indians went extinct 60 years after the arrival of Columbus in 1493. At that time fortune seekers and soldiers did breed with indians and its from that original stock that many people have either a permanent tan of skin that gets easily tanned.

Cities are very mixed and is also where illegals (mostly dominicans) live. Pure bloods mostly live inland and in the mountains.

>CIA world factbook

CIA world factbook is not factual. Will not give details because that is a topic on its own. Keep in mind its the fucking CIA.

However the 70% number is from the USA census. Also keep in mind we got yearly like 300 days of UV factor 11. Some people actually discover they are white once the move to states in the north. Some people will get a tan just from ambient solar light.

This was planned a long time ago.

apnews.com/30d1888c868f485380f2d692506c6713/american-flag-has-51-stars-pence-visit-european-union

Who cares what those faggots voted as the platform. We TRUMPISM now.

Fuckf of Puerto Rico

Clearly you don't know what you are talking about. This is because Puerto Rico is the only topic in which fake MSM and alternate media go shoulder to shoulder.

We are americans citizens not just american nationals like for example Guam. This is USA soil, not a foreign country, not a protectorate or any foreign entity. THAT IS ENOUGH to ask to be a state ONCE the territory is organized (population 50+) and minimum population total is achieved (5000+). We got now 3.6 million more or less.

Anyhow its possible there is oil in the north coast (regardless of what the CIA un-facts book says). Also we used to be the antu-submarine warfare base for the Navy and that role is needed back especially now that chavistas have ambitions to control commerce in the South-Atlantic. Somewhere in the 1990's the meeting of the governors of the southern states was hosted here and IIRC it was the governor of South Carolina that proposed we become a maritime cargo hub like Taiwan. He actually presented a plan that was quickly shelved by our governor (current governor's dad). There is more stuff but my posts are getting to long.

Those girls are New Yorkers. Check the Miss Universe Queens. You will not believe me so check it on your own.

>Puerto Ricans
>spics
lol, no. They are cannibalistic island savages.

Cool, maybe we can transfer all the Spanish speaking faggot there.

What are you referring to?

Favelas are specific to Brazil. Every news article about Puerto Rico always features a slum known as "La Perla". Even movies only use it as a backdrop. Since ever the democrats have been pushing this image in the media because the know this will be a republican state and if they manage to deceive us it will only work once. Even Tucker the cuck slayer believe the image presented to him by republican lobbyists hired by democrats.

BTW "La Perla" is actually small. To see the truth about this place just try a google earth fly-by and take your time. See for yourself how much you have been lied to by the media and Hollywood.

Because we already voted for statehood in 2012 and 1998. We are tired of the politicians that do not want to follow the proper process. The Act of Admission is supposed to be presented first to Congress and then there is a vote on whatever proposal comes from WDC. The alleged pro-statehood party uses the damn as campaign material every election. At this we either become a state of just leave the island to live in a state. Hence the low participation. Anyhow the only numerical requirement is that the population be 5000+ and that's it.

A good example of the process is in the series DeadWood. They follow a self-determination process to choose which state will annex their town that is in a territory.

One of the native tribes here where canibals.

An independent poll a week before the primaries (we can only vote for president in a primary) showed Trump as the winner. The response was to bring the former republican governor Luis Fortuno to make a appeal in favor of Rubio and the government reduced substantially the number of polling stations and also shuffled them all over to make voting difficult. After the primaries the system was reverted to the previous setup. I was told by a politician in the states that President Trump is aware of it.

>Puerto Rico
>Thinking they are "Spanish"
lol, no.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Island_Caribs
You should know your history.

You must be a shill. Why was Congressman Don Young with others in the island? Care to check the many statehood projects coming from Congress and even the White House's talk force over the decades?

What happens is the pro-statehood party won't follow the proper process!!!

TL;DR
You are a shill.

If it makes California less powerful in elections, I'll take it. Fuck this state.

>some states would lose some seats

It does not work that way. If became state overnight two senators are added but the House stays the same. Our non-voting representative that is already there gets to vote from there on and we get more only after the House amends the limit. Its my understanding that the limit is there to prevent the abuse of the Tennessee Plan.

>They are literally insolvent

Incorrect. Statehood won in 2012 but in that vote we changed governor and the new one was against statehood so he proceeded to wreck the finances of the state and killed the credit on purpose just by quoting Nicolas Maduro regarding the Moody's and Standad and Poors. The he went on a tax hike to the point that we are the most taxed people in the USA in hopes pro-statehood voters leave the island. Then he proceeded to defund goverment pensions.

We the citizens are not broke and neither is the government. The pensions however are a lost cause. Simple the government has no credit for the too important TRANS market.

I'm a native and everyone thinks Im white

I'm the hispanic sleeper agent for when the mexican deportation rises to 90%

Are you stupid?

>Thinks Trump and Republicans will actually honor a piece of paper.

user, those are mexicans.
Puerto ricans are very secular due to the US whoring us out to big name companies, destroying our lands and our homes in order to make neat tourist attractions with OUR MONEY.

>Incorrect. wtf I hate Alejandro GarcĂa Padilla now.

Only 26% of America voted for Sup Forums's favorite politician.

Well, you better start selling flags. You could make a quick buck off since people want to update their flags.

No. The Caribes were from the small island to the south and that's why that sea is named after them. The Antilles are not Caribbean islands, the ones to the south are.

Wikipedia.

Hispanics are A-OK. Most of them are actually decent people, its the ones who want California to become mexico who are the problem. These people are already Americans. Some people here are acting like we are adding some 3rd world barbaric country to America, don't get me wrong that Puerto Rico is poor, but it is not like we are adding Hati.

I am glad now that you can have representation in our government friend.

There was a tribe of them in the area called fajardo now and they warred with the taino often.
