I'm not a socialist myself, but I'm curious as to what objections (that are not purely economic) does Sup Forums have to a politically un-invasive socialism? (I add the latter clarification because literally any system can be invasive).
I'm of the opinion that I respect socialist more than centrists because at least they stand for a particular side. I might not agree with the premises of that side, but they stand for something while the center (liberals) stand for nothing except the protection of the status quo.
Side note: If you don't know the difference between liberals and the left, then you need to read Karl Schmitt's Concept Of The Political (he was a natsoc, so you should enjoy it), where he shows that centrism is the real danger to society and it's something that I agree with,
Eli Nguyen
Socialism gives too much, and does not encourage enough
There needs to be a good balance of the freedom of Captiolism and the safety net of socialism
Liam Myers
If there was some way to make people stay healthy and happy from goverment programs but also keep them encouraged enough to move their way up the economic ladder and make new things, new ideas and push their limits Id be all for it but I have yet to see such a system arise yet.
If theres a way for people to be lazy and exploit the system they will
Jordan Lopez
Because fuck you and fuck your bills, faggot.
Bentley Thompson
Yankee scum
Owen Lee
It's very simple.
In a free society, we can elect to provide free gibs to our fellow man. We can be free and "socialist" at the same time.
In a socialist society, we do not have an option.
John Edwards
>f-fuck freedom, guy! Pay for all my shit! Stay on your shitty rainy island you commie fuck.
Jayden Jackson
Im not commie, are you fucking illiterate
I said, if there was a way to balance it out then sure
But i do not see anyone balancing it out you fucking Yankee
Captialism is for me
Brandon Wright
>if we could find a way to balance you paying for all my shit I'd be totally for it! "No".
Joseph Garcia
If we could balance healthcare and keeping people happy, not paying for all their shit, along with maintaining the motivation to forward themselves Then go for it HOWEVER as I said, any system is exploitable and if people are lazy and want to do it they will
There is no conceivable way to do it as far as I know
Robert Moore
>What does Sup Forums have against socialism? 120 million dead people. Why doesn't that bother you? Is this where you tell me that "real socialism"™ has never been tried?
Daniel Green
user, there is no real socialism
Its all just promises of help and freedom for the worker but in the end all they do is get themselves rich and fat while their low class supporters starve to death
Jose Rogers
Wait you mean I'm not going to get 30 more years of NEET life because I was promised a pension?
Isaiah Harris
So I guess we're on the same page then. People are shit and I'm not going to pay for random faggot's shit because they'll just use me for my wealth and sit around all day jerking off to anime and shitposting. So to socialism I shall always say "no".
Levi Lopez
More like you were promised a free house, a free car, a plot of land and a nice steady job with a good life and all you got was a rifle shot to the back of the head because you were traditonalist rather than zealot communist
The only form of quasi socialism that id be okay with is a Post Scarcity society. Resources, land and everything you need is so fucking abundant theres no need to redistribute anything or pay for other people's shit
Daniel Ortiz
I think it was a little more like financial and political incompetence. It'd be nice to think that they would have thought ahead and noticed it was an impossible ponzi scheme.
More criminal than some reasonable extent of keeping the promises that were made is just issuing increasingly preposterous promises to the incoming youth. When this shit blows, it's going to blow hard, and probably a lot of the victims won't even have been getting blow jobs to offset the misery.
Daniel James
>Karl Schmitt's Concept Of The Political (
Sup Forums isn't actually interested in political philosophy, just look forward too hundreds of posts of meme tier arguments they are going to repeat without any awareness whatsoever
Benjamin Collins
I think people today go for it because of uncontrolled altruism. They think they want to help people, make those that are inferior to themselves better. Because they are self hating asshats and think that "These poor people and minorities are inferior to my whiteness and we gotta help them!" Without understanding it would make everyone worse off. Hell its not even like theyre even asking for help. They do it to get feel good brownie points
Anthony Morris
braaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP
Jeremiah Ramirez
I love black dicks
Austin Brooks
>lives in Britain >not a socialist
Levi Brooks
I think it's a lack of understanding about the Jew bankers and the bought and sold pervert politicians doing the dirty work.
I don't call that altruism. I'm no saint, but I'll tell you it feels fuckin good when you have extra money and use it to help out somebody who's in a bad spot. I set aside 10% of my net income just as basically a fuck-it giveaway slush fund for whenever some opportunity comes up.
Fuck communuist trash.
Kevin Lewis
It amerotards would expose themselves to guaranteed ruination because they watched a propaganda movie about some poor guy becoming a millionaire by selling garden hoses
Asher Roberts
>killing Nazis is bad
Leo Jackson
its rampant alturism but not in a good way
they want to help everyone they deem inferior by sacrificing everything that isnt their own money including their fellow countrymen
These fucking modern communists dont realize if the revolution goes into full swing, they will be the ones to lose everything and itll be commisar Jamal and Cletus who get their shit
Jace Morales
There has to be some way to combat this. Perhaps if you are on disabilities for a specific reason, and the government offers you specific treatment such as weight reduction surgery you have 30 days to make an appointment or your benefits are cut.
Elijah Russell
there is a way to combat that, euthanasia
Juan Rogers
They're not against socialism if everyone is white.
Brandon Williams
This. Most socialists these days are anti-white
David Green
>socialism >un invasive
Pick one
Gavin Parker
Post scarcity is an interesting convept, however other things such as energy or land will always have value since there is only so much of it available.
In other words unless you set the rules of socialism for your society into stone, it will just turn into a socialist creep European style, and then nobody will have jobs because it'll be so expensive that companies will either just leave for countries where there would be no taxes such as that, or theyll go bankrupt.
Nathan Hill
I mean I am more in favor of that but realistically we can't euthanize every fat/disabled person just because they're fat/disabled yet
Jack Morales
Socialism is a totalitarian regime, you have to do things the government's way and you are not allowed to ever rise above your station in life.
Hard work means nothing under socialism, everyone does their bare minimum needed to get by and society collapses.
Jaxon Bennett
what about them exploiting taxpayer money and not getting better
Juan Kelly
That was kind of my whole point of cutting their benefits after X amount of time. I don't want them to be on welfare if they have been offered a solution to their problem, being lazy and unwilling to work despite being offered that should end up with removal of their benefits. They were given a chance to change their life and refused, they need to live with that consequence
Aaron Nguyen
What if we started by making whatever social safety net we might think is a good idea more realistic? Maybe we don't have to cut SS for geriatrics, but it would be simple and harmless to tell kids they're getting a different deal.
It's what's worrisome to me about raising the minimum wage. It seems that if Jew bankers and treason Jews make it impossible to ever have a workable stable national system, then shouldn't we see the gradual exit of the concept of the minimum wage as the fair way forward? It's like a balance of powers.
