Communism is the next stage of humanity following the capitalist stage.
What exactly is communism according to Marxist-Leninists:

Yes, West Berlin was controlled by the allied powers, but was entirely within East Germany.
This later led to Soviet authorities attempting to gain control of West Berlin by blockading it and cutting off all routes of supplies to it in, in hopes that they'd cave in and accept Soviet rule. The Western Allies performed the largest Airlift in history to overcome this, airlifting everything from fresh milk to coal in to West Berlin to keep the city running, until the Soviet Union lifted the blockade.
