I don't want to sound like a faggot, I totally understand though if you or others think I am one, but this event has brought a bit of emotional disturbance deep within me. Don't get me wrong, I hate fundamentan Muslims and shitskins as much and ever more than some of you, but researching about this accident has brought some unexpected empathy within me. All I can see when I see these people is that they are poor and mistreated by the rich. Because of my background it makes it way easier to feel for them. I just can't avoid thinking about how these people went to London for a better life and due to poverty and (((their))) interests they were pushed to such a situation in which a mere fire got the worse of them and even lead to violent rioting. I don't doubt that their culture had some influence in their reaction to such a tragedy, but for some reason I keep seeing their human side, getting even more angry at (((them))) for exploiting these people for their own interests.
This is my opinion, and I understand if you disagree with it, they are mudslimes after all, but seeing how those fucking Jews can destroy people's lifes as long as it suits their interests, despite these people's origins, makes me so fucking mad I can't even handle myself right now. I'm also a bit drunk btw which could explain these feelings too.
I just wanted to get this off my chest, I don't mind if you don't care about it, there are surely more important than things to discuss but, is there's anyone who felt more or less the same? If so, do your views and feelings differ a lot from these I've just exposed?
This people were poor as shit, living in a dangerous shithole, in a total shithole of a country. And they died a horrible painful death. As a human being, of course you can empathise with that, even if you don't agree on immigration policies. Just because I don't believe immigration is a good thing that doesn't mean I think people deserve to burn to death. That's just horrible.
However, I have to say - I lived in Egypt for a while, and people had no concept of fire safety in flats. They just clogged up hallways and dumped their paper and cardboard everywhere in the halls. These kind of habits surely would have helped the fire spread, even if the building was faulty to begin with.

Wrote a piece for a global studies class. It really truly is a tragedy, but this is the result of rampant immigration left unchecked. These people had no means to better their situation, and I'm sure that, for the most part, had a poor grasp of english, as well as education. I'm sure visibility would be a major issue with helicopters. With the unpredictability of a fire of that scale and the high levels of smoke, it probably would do more harm that good, at least in a highly residential/populated area. Rescues from a helicopter in poor weather/visibility are safer in an open area (say the open ocean) but a crash in a metro would be very destructive.

UKs building and fitting standard can be very lax to say the least, that's because of very old houses and cheap building standards from an EU standpoint.
Lots of places out for rent -in London specifically- would't be considered inhabitable by EU standard.

I read about this, that they also stormed the local town hall and started demanding "justice", and accusing the media of covering up the numbers dead. It's like they don't realize, or are unwilling to accept, that there is a long process and set of procedures that have to take place when this kind of tragedy happens. There isn't emotional mob justice, where blame and punishment need to be assigned quickly, in Europe like there is elsewhere.

Seems like the cladding on the building had a gap between the original building and the cladding This created a wind tunnel effect. Which meant he is building went up quickly. Older tower blocks like this have a compartmentalized system for fire. If a flat catches on fire the fire is meant to stop there. They don’t have sprinklers or dry or wet risers ( tubes throughout the building that can spread water and flood the building. Wet means water is already able to be pumped and dry means that fire crew attaches their hoses to flood the tower block). Obviously somehow the cladding compromised this somehow.
Yes, the tiles were fire retardant. But not fire proof. Everything, when it gets hot enough, will burn. And if the wind tunnel effect were fanning the flames as the fire rose. then these fuckers had no chance.

I think there was a little more at stake on that one. Nuclear disaster requires far more resources, and there is difficulty estimating potential loss. With a building fire, there is a limited amount of damage that can be done, and efforts are only put in to mitigate further potential loss. Chernobyl was potentially incalculable in damage, so all efforts must be exhausted.
