bump

>47% Danes are able to hold a conversation in German
haha nein keine deutsch bitte
but those numbers are seriously wrong though. One in 20 speak a somewhat o.k German here. Even fewer among the 30 and lower age group.

you know the 19% live in Silesia?

Croatia should have been on there. They are literally full of them to the brink during summer.

>Only 71% of people in Holland can speak their own language
Have they been that culturally enriched?

Suck my dick, german bitch

I think it would be hilarious if in a few hours Germany will have a lower percentage than other countries. Since, you know, stuff. :^)

Why would we? German is going to be dead language in 30 years.

Croatia wasn’t in the EU yet when this survey was being done.

(There’s some kind of mistake when it comes to Germany though)

see
and look up germany..
>10%

German has been made immortal through literature and philosophy.

> Germany
> >95%

>Denmark
>47%

No fucking way
I don't believe the numbers for Sweden either

that’s a lot actually.
Can you say that >95% Americans are able to converse in english?

Germans with any measurable degree of education are fluent in English anyway, so who cares?

All these other languages are simply going to be remembered as archaic, obsolete progenitors to American English in the coming centuries.

Perhaps, but we don't hear people speaking Latin on the streets either.

>mfw I was able to hold elaborate conversations in German back in high school
>5 years later I can't understand shit

i don’t think so.. Some european languages have lived through centuries of oppression and forceful impositions of a foreign language/culture, yet those small/irrelevant languages survived and are still vibrant today. It’s hard to exterminate a language.

take a duolingo course. If you learnt german before, you’ll pick it up quickly and understand quite a lot after a few months of practice.

I don't think Germany is really >95%

Anyone not a nigger or spic here speaks passable English. I wouldn't assume >95% tho

>impling america will be stay in power coming centuries.
hola carlos como estas?

>belgium
>has german as official language
>22%

are you even trying?

I'm trying to learn German but without anyone to speak to it's difficult to get the feedback on grammar and such.

>tfw never studied Spanish in my life and I can translate that sentence

Time to kill myself.

for what purpose would someone learn german?

where you live?

Kocham polskę

>American English
The rest of the world just calls it "English", Jamal.

>71%

Literally pulled the numbers out of their ass.

i assure you, nowhere near 71% of dutch people are able to hold a conversation in German
more like 15%

Isnt EU like a scheme to ensure German rule over Europe? Maybe we should all kind of, not do it anymore.

England.

actually its a scheme to prevent it. but we kinda ended up running the whole thing.

> Czechs & Poles, are you even trying?

he asked in English, demonstrating the pointlessness of his question.
