I have a question;

Labour effectively used memes and social media to engage peoples feels, especially the youth which was extremely effective (lets not get on to the shower of shite T.May paraded around). There appeared to be little to no counter/rebuttal to this; and what there was, was mainly Corbyn & McDs terrorism buddies.

Why is this? Shy Tories? People worried about vilification by online? Complacency?

Will there be a counter to this next GE?

My concern is that we may well be having another GE within 5 years’ time and a Corbyn/McD axis of evil could fuck this country something rotten.

Watching the Questiontime spection where he was infront of an audience the questioned him on this and his answers were poor at best; he looked very uncomforatble when small business onwers spelled out what this would ACTAULLY mean. he went quiet and sweaty, clinging to the talbe holding his water. totally out of his depth. then there waere defence questions and it got worse.

It was the first time anyone had actually pressed him on significant problems with their plans and he was crumbling. just wish someone had done it sooner. he got a free fucking ride most of the campaign.

If the only way a company can survive is by paying starvation wages on zero hour contracts then they can fuck right off. They're not fit to be in business.

It's difficult to meme TM in a positive way. You look at her and she looks like an abandoned Bond villain. While Corbyn shed his cold, empty, boring image and put on the skin of a lovable uncle.

Her manifesto didn't help either. It seemed like they got over confident thinking: "Who's going to vote Corbyn? we can fill a page of our manifesto with 'nigger' and they'll still be voting for us."

While Labours manifesto offered free shit, that only the gods know how it would have been payed for. However, people always want free stuff, I too am guilty of this (free samples are amazing) but when it comes to political views, people should think long term "what is good for my country?" Something which I have found is lacking nowadays.

Most of my family voted Brexit but they still voted Labour. You may say it is mad to vote a party that would keep us in the EU, but out of it in name.

But when you don't look beyond the veil put on by both sides, which do you prefer?

There are a couple of reasons why:

1. May is incredibly dull. There's no way to make a meme out of her besides from that one with the picture of the UK going 100% Tory
2. People here didn't really support May or the mainstream conservatives, they just wanted a Brexit that was more than leaving in name only and that Labour was even worse

The thing is, the Labour memes were quite shit and mostly consisted of Jeremy Corbyn's head on football players. If you remember the EU referendum, Leave had fat better memes than Remain because a lot of them came from here. As Moonman says: control the memes, control the planet. That's the way that meme magic is real; it actually affects the way people think because the idea of the meme starts to be believed.

I've noticed more vocal pro-Tory stuff online since the election. As if people are now actually worried that Corbyn could really be PM.
