It has to be fake. Even if the masses don't understand why that is a blatently foul move the US can't slide that shit past Russia and the Eu without them noticing, surely.

Time is against assad. He needs to make as many gains East as he can before the SDF finish taking Raqqa and can turn their attention south towards DeZ. I reckon Raqqa has about 14 days fighting left in it.
Josiah Sanders
I think Assad needs to start thinking of how to attack the SDF. Its going to be the next mess with Idlib being stable.

Owen Ramirez
Besides, i doubt he knows less than you.
Leo Cooper
Yeah, Syria made a deal in Astana, thru Russia and iran with Turkey. They agreed on de-escalation zones and Idlib is one of them. There has been some infighting but no sort of agression towards the SAA. I think Assad can focus on the SDF next, as even Turkey wants to get rid of them.
Ive been worried about the SDF since they appeared and people were jerking about the kurds being with Assad on /sg/. Of course Assad isnt dumb and he doesnt trust the kurds (no arab trusts them). I dont trust Russia in this issue, but I trust Iran and Iraq (even Turkey should be against this).

Russia isnt stupid. If they see Syria, Iran, Iraq and Turkey (plus all the arabs except Saudi) against it they would piss all those sides just to please your kurdish cousins. Russia has worked hard to improve its image in the Middle East, making this rojava happen will make the arabs, iranians and turks curse the Russians and call them backstabbers.

How do you see Syria dealing with America and their hard on to back the SDF as the meme democracy of the Middle East?

There's UN, Hariri, Kurds, Turkey, Iran and Russia negotiating the peace deal in the end, and guess who holds all the cards? Syria will get Lavrov'd, with Rojava as a federation, and that's if Tigers can make it in time to cut SDF off.
Luke Lee

> How do you see Syria dealing with America and their hard on to back the SDF as the meme democracy of the Middle East? Theyre gonna have to deal with them sooner or later. Maybe thru PMU, joint attack with Turkey or Iran. Its a headache but they currently occupy a third of Syria. I think the US has to be tested first to see how serious they are about them after Raqqa is captured.
Oliver Wright
He should first kick out rebels from Idlib and al Tanf. Kurds come next.

Chase Young
>Attack
How do you think they can attack though? America would just airstrike them with intensity, it has no qualms about striking even SAA regulars, especially when it can claim it's in legitimate defence of the SDF.
Turkey too, you've seen how the US (and even Russia) reacted to the threat of Turkey attacking Manbij. You can already tell they're serious about defending the Kurds. It won't be as easy as just setting loose the elite SAA forces to regain the land.
Zachary Reed
I'm making it bigger you retard.
Owen Morris
There is absolutely no way Assad will agree about a federation as that will keep the US (Saudi and Israel possibly) there. He'd rather cut it off completely, starve them with Turkey and Iran than do that. Having a federation with a US base would.be like having a tumour in your body and ignoring it when you have a chance to survive and remove it. I dont see why he doesnt try and attack them, people here are into cuck porn, they just want Assad to bend over and take it.
Levi Reed
The Belgian Kurd is half shitposting too. Of course he cares for Kurdish issues but you can tell with shit like his comparison image with Onur it's part of a big meme at the same time.
Easton Cox
> He should first kick out rebels from Idlib and al Tanf. Kurds come next. Not really, kurds are a more serious threat now. Idlib has been contained, it can wait and theyre already fighting each other.
Kayden Ramirez
>it has no qualms about striking even SAA regulars This is sad. Drumpf was a mistake. Obongo wouldn't do that.
Benjamin Lopez
> Mate stop this meme. Only like 3 persons were doing that (and one of them was the belgian kurd). You either werent here 3 months ago or you have a shit memory. And before hasakah this place was kurd central. I avoided this place as it was full of idiots that never met a kurd before. Look at the archives.
Daniel Evans
>There is absolutely no way Assad will agree Implying that he's in position to agree. Nowadays his best option cames straight from the Kremlin, his opinion doesn't matter much. Just watch the next rounds of Astana, and see if Bashar will be in any of these. I can even spoil, that the negotiator from Syria will be Jafaari, because he has his ways with Russian diplomacy.
Isaiah Parker
>Having a federation with a US base Federation does not automatically mean allowing foreign military bases in federalized territories my dude

Mason Martin
> Federation does not automatically mean allowing foreign military bases in federalized territories my dude The US will not leave without pressure or force. Assad would rather cut that area off work on it indirectly than what youre suggesting. Anyway serves the kurds right for this, they want to steal arab land, the arabs will starve them.
Easton Jones

Isaac Wood

Ayden Ortiz
You seriously think Assad can travel to Astana in this situation? Also, Syria, Iran, Iraq and Turkey all agree on this kurdish issue. These are all regional neighbours, Russia wont risk pissing them off as they cant keep the peace when the US abandons the kurds. Russia always picks the cleanest route, and this rojava will cause a shitstorm.
Oliver Edwards
What Kurds in Rojava don't seem to understand is that even if they get their freedom, USA will sure be the first to topple the PKK and YPG elements from Rojava and it'll turn it into a NATO outpost such as Iraqi Kurdistan. Why do you think a question of Kurdish independence in Iraq was raised in a convenient time like this?
Jose Anderson
Kek, I've been here since Kweres lad. You are newer than me for a lot (and I consider myself new because I wasn't during ukraine). While its true that before Qimishli and Hasaka most /sg/ers supported kurds (including me) we got redpilled. 3 months ago there wasn't much kurd shilling, only 2-3 persons per thread - at most. Stop that meme.
Nolan Kelly
Yeah, before Hasakah mosf people here were praising the kurds as allies of Assad. Delusional.
