He was first and foremost a master filmmaker and storyteller, thus his films are somewhat subtle in their "meaning". Many people have drawn wildly different analysis from his films. That being said, he never fell for the leftist propaganda shit or banalized a serious issue. I would say he was definitely red pilled but intelligent enough to only suggest it in his films, even with Eyes Wide Shot.
