1st for fuck Reddit!

Why is DeZ so important lads?

Is it because of the river?

3rd for an open door to Deir ez Zor.

xth for reconquest of Constantinople!

Well the kurds get there turbo autist commie state?

The SAA has been under siege there since the start of the revolution in 2011 and capturing it before the Kurds do secures all of western Syria and its oil fields.

Maps

Erdogan will never let such a state rest peacefully.

oil field i guess

Oil and arable land

xth for kurds getting ass raped

...

It is the only government foothold in the eastern Syria and while they control the city they maintain the clay on DeZ oil sites (which they dont control yet)

I think it's an artillery base, so they can fuck with ISIS basically from within

I can't believe I will see this damned road finally secured.

which one of you did this?

>A YPG volunteer did an AMA here a few months back and told us that there was a transgender volunteer who wanted to join the YPJ and was allowed.
why

Can these be used successfully defending my home from a burglar/attacker ? These are the only "weapons" I have.
The axe is very sharp btw.

Pen for scale

>Trans medic in the Kurdistan

It could be the title for an Asterix

...

m8 you can stick the pen in a dudes eye the axes are pretty good.

here (You) go
i guess they won't link up for a while but that shouldn't be a problem

Not if there is more than one burglar

Get some throwing knives, helps a lot.

Just wondering what do you use axe for while in Damascus, Syria. (Apart from hacking burlars)
I mean i also have axe and even a chainsaw in my country house but we dont have shortage of things to saw here.

They'll do the job, assuming the attacker isn't armed with a gun. How are the hand to hand combat skills though?

oh fuck i didn't notice the flag on the road
KOTEL NOW

Make a slingshot

youtube.com/watch?v=3YhpufaUACA

Is the average Syrian not allowed to own firearms? I'd also go for a bat for tge reach

>Can these be used successfully defending my home from a burglar/attacker ?
Sure, if they don't have firearms. Burglars by themselves are somewhat likely to just vacate your premises if you show opposition, especially if you come at them with an axe. Attackers, specifically after you though, are another thing. Probably looking at armed assailants there, so you'll be in for a fight. A knife might be more reliable indoors, in reality. An axe needs space to swing and someone bumrushing you with a knife doesn't give you much space. See picture for a good illustration.

It's a big river.

I assume that most criminals will have some rooty tooty point and shooty so better get some real weapon if you really want to defend yourself. Shouldn't be that hard in the middle of a civil war to get some gun.

>Rusafah
Good.

>I'd also go for a bat for tge reach
Attach the hatchet to a bat for better reach.

Buy a glock ya dummy

Never used them, a relative brought them when he returned from the soviet union, now we keep them just in case.
I was never really tested before. I lift though.
Previously you needed a license but I think many people own unregistered arms.

I live in the coast so there is no real danger for a random got like me

For you.

now remake it with khat chewing sounds included

If you take out the water, will the fish die?

>head falls off

>stabs down the opened throad

What will it be?

Upper one

lul, the sdf propganda just started: "saa wuz attacking us for dayz, believe us plz"

>Axe from Soviet Union going to hack burglars in 2017
Real relict mate.

Top and bottom ones

That Iranian missile attack was aesthetic af

cant you just get a ak-47 from black market for 10 dollars or something?

Ideally, the upper one. Reclaiming control of the Euphrates river would be great.

why dont you just buy an ak ffrom your ocal militia?

I just woke up, what is going on why is SAA so based?!

Middle. Nothing can stop them.

Upper one could be harder fight against ISIS but they'd be undeniably helping to SDF in Raqqa so it would serve to deescalate the conflict and get maximum territory.

The middle path is actually a road directly connecting Rusafah and Deir-ez-Zor, btw.

Top one. Middle one is retarded and lower can be done by the troops who are currently connecting from Khanaser a bit later. The Palmyra troops will reach Suknah first anyway

Upper if only to cut off the Kurdshits.

Through 100 kilometers of desert mind you

what kind of missile is that?

no tochka can reach deir from iran, not enought range...

maybe this

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shahab-2

>The middle path is actually a road
A small road not protected on either side by anything vs a highway protected by one side by a huge ass river

LMAO ASSad BTFO

In one (1) day

>loose dozens of men in daraa everyday
>loose many tanks and bmps against isis
>loose a plane and dozens of men against coalition/ypg

holy shit and ASSadist can still act smug and crafty ?

From hoholmaps

>Iran IRGC has used Zolfaqar(solid fuel) and Qiyam(liquid fuel)missiles in its retaliatory attacks on ISIS positions in Syria's DeirEzZour

all 3

The SAA now has 4 ways of reaching DeZ :
- along the Euphrates
- through the desert from Rusafah
- through the desert from Palmyra
- along the Euphrates from the border
Which one of these sounds the most promising ?

twitter.com/sayed_ridha/status/876741265102053376
>Raqqa: Syrian Arab Army and allied tribes assert their control over Rusafa town and continue advance north towards Shuwayhan village

Noice, they got it

Its not that urgent though, they have been there years.
Gotta keep the yanks from taking the southern side of the Euphrates and linking up with Palmyra would help supply lines

I really love axes, the one on the right is almost like an atgeir had it had a bit more "spear" on the end there.
Throwing axes are fun as hell and damn effective btw, you get specialized ones for that but it works well with others to part that to the left there I would bet is good.
It's a sport here, a minor sport, I can lit stick an axe in a man's skull with ease from 20-30m, even though I haven't been throwing in years.

It's refreshing to see /ourmaghreboi/ come back after this onslaught of magapede shills

LMAO ASSAD IS BEING HANGED R I G H T N O W BY MODERATE AL-QAEDA! VICTORY TO MUJAHIDDEN AND SHARIA! ASSMAD BTFO!

In one (1) day

>liberate shit ton of Syrian territory

ANOTHER VICTORY FOR GOOD GUYS

Zolfaqar
imp-navigator.livejournal.com/508690.html

thanks!

Correct, although it has a lot of ISIS controlled towns that will slow SAA down.

The double Sukhnah and Euphrates advance seems the most sensible, though.

>Assadist can still act smug and crafty ?
Yep still winning

Amerifats sperg out but still lose the town anyway.
Last helicopter out of Hasaka when?

DeZ is fine, cutting off Kurds is more important.

Territory ISIS takes can be taken back with five guys and a pickup truck but territory the SDF takes is permanent and gets fortified with US bases that fire on you for getting too close. Which one is honestly a more strategic enemy?

me on the left

spasiba

SO is this confirmed for SAA or what?

dez will be reached from all sides at the same time, kurds included, it's looking like
it'll ISIS's last hurrah in the levant

I tend to agree. Prioritizing control of the Euphrates southern banks seems key. Although if the Kurds become too greedy, it would be easy for Assad to unleash the Turks on them to distract them and retake some land.

Yes.

As it seems unlikely that Assad can be gotten rid off, it's plan B now and someone wants Syria at least cut off from Iraqi border. Assisting ISIS in taking DeZ and then capturing it with puppet SDF force is key to that goal

No strong confirmation yet, some say it is.

I agree that's likely, will the Turks give it back though?

And what will he unleash on the turks? Inviting a bigger invader to get rid of the smaller one you already can't handle never worked.

holy shit some sand, i'm sure losing all those tanks was worth it

i thought you died
i guess you're on rotating shifts with mccain, kek

>DeZ is fine, liberating Kuweirs is more important

This. The Byzantines tried that and they kept losing territory to unwashed barbarians.

he's not me you stupid idiot
could be jewish jew VPNfagging again

Well, territory currently held by the Kurds is lost to Syria anyway, unless some huge changes happen. Therefore, it sounds reasonable to allow Turkey to attack them, because even if Turkey keeps some of that clay, the SAA will use the distraction to push back the Kurds in the South as they get rekt by the Turks in the North and West. Better to lose some parts of nothern Syria to Turkey than to lose the entire area north of the Euphrates (or maybe the Euphrates itself) to a US-backed Kurdistan.

>Although if the Kurds become too greedy
>if
dont be surprised if kurdish diaspoara asks for autonomy in france too soon.

>Tiger finally reach DeZ
>Suheil and Zahreddine meet at the airport
>Smile
>Give each other a good old non-homo arab hug
>afterwards Zahreddine beats the shit out of the tiger
>FUCK YOU AND YOUR FLOWERS

I'd honestly like to see a whole IRGC armored division cross Iraq and just plow up the Euphrates to DeZ.

...

Congratulations /sg/, looks like you win
