I'm not really sure, I had access to ModMail and the ability to edit submissions and ban people at my leasure. There are mods higher up than me and I didn't talk to them much. But yeah, I'm not sure if they are from ShareBlue, but they are corrupt pieces of trash.

I don't like to think about it really. When I look back to the posts I did delete, I realized that they are perfectly acceptable, but at the time I didn't realize that. I mainly deleted posts that were positive about Trump, because a lot of them were from right-leaning websites and most of them were blacklisted. Corruption is rampant.

There were higher up mods than us. If you were higher up, you weren't really granted any more special privileges but you were looked on more favorably. The "top mods" so to speak, never spoke to us casually, if they did ever speak to us it was about some new bullshit rules we had to enforce.


I deleted my account a few days after quitting mod. I was fucking harrased to shit by some of the mods and I coulnd't post fucking anywhere on reddit without it being brought up in the comments, so I just made a new account. No proof, sorry fellas.

I used to think like them. What got me out of my slumber was removing all the pro-trump anti-islam posts that used to swarm in whenever a major event happened. Sometimes I would click on one and read it, and the more I did, the more I realized they were always right, and then I asked myself why was I censoring this material. That's why I'm here now, sadly.

Reddit has always been worthless as a platform for equal discussion. It's only worth has been as a place for discussion for people within your own interest group.

Even then, it struggles if your hobby or interest has several different ways to enjoy it, and the community 'isn't okay with that' for whatever reason.

I used Reddit since 1 month after it came online, since I knew a couple people in the founders circle of friends. Even back then, comments were downvoted if the users did not agree with the opinion, rather than the nature of the post being constructive or not.

It is only because there were far less users, and no paid propaganda bot/shill farms, that contrary opinions remained up long enough to be visible.

I'm sure you all know about the Mass cencorship of conservative views, the invasion of CTR and ShareBlue. It was very hard to get into a position of Mod but if you quit they would fucking throw you to the fire. What you guys think is bad about Liberalism is amplified 10-fold over in r/Politics.

I'm 99% sure that if you quit, they would have fucking users put on you to harass you until you did something about it. Strangers, people with 10 minute accounts would message me some horrendous shit.

The only managing I did was when I would delete submissions. There was one time where I was reviewing a submission (Something about the Trump Russia thing where the article was skeptical of it) and I was scolded to high hell for it. They would go fucking crazy over ModMail
