So Raqqa is going slower than I expected which is good. 2 days ago I said it had about 12 days left, but SDF has not gained much ground.
Whats the verdict fellas. Will SDF have Raqqa by this time next month?
Im not sure what will happen first. Whether SDF will take the city or SAA cuts off the bridge so they cannot cross the Euphrates without going all the way to DeZ. It'll be tight but SAA might just make it.
Isaac Campbell
probably, but it looks like the SDF are suffering some casualties
Asher Baker
Bosniak + croat was a composition of the brigade I think
Jayden Ross
no, this is frozen bacon
Henry Morales
What we know is what the SDF intends to do (take Raqqa and Deir Ezzor). But we dont know what the Syria govt, Russia, Iran, Iraq and Turkey will do. The SDF wont give anything and they will end up fighting with the SAA if they dont surrender.
Landon Barnes
Pretty cool tune.

I think there are only 40,000 kurds fighting in the SDF, without the Americans theyd be the weakest force.
I thought SDF would reach DeZ first but the unexpected slowness of taking Raqqa makes me think I am pretty sure the tiger teams will relieve DeZ before SDF can relocate their forces after taking Raqqa.
My money is on SDF getting 100% of Raqqa north of the Euphrates but 0% of DeZ

Most of ISIS assets are believed to have pulled up months ago and relocated to the towns along the Euphrates in Deir Ezzor. Whoever has to take those towns will have a hard job of it.
I think in a way both armies would like the other to take the brunt of it and swoop in at the end to mop up.
Who are we kidding, though? In reality, they'll just fight each other and waste months before anyone even tries.

Still the SDF getting Raqqa is a problem, there are no kurds there theyre planning on putting this kurdish feminist who wasnt even born in Syria to rule the city. The Americans are looking for trouble and the gypsies will get gassed like Anfal if they continue this Rojava.
Zachary Edwards
SAA cant pick fights with SDF or the US will use it as an excuse to protect them from a ""genocide"". If there is going to be fighting it has to be started by SDF.
Anyway SDF can use the road from Palmyra to bypass most of the villages.

Assad wont allow them to take an inch, and the kurds wont give up this rojava. There is no way they wont fight after ISIS terrorists are gone.

Guys, did Syria say anything about the jet that got shot down? I heard the us relocated their fighter jets yesterday "to fight Isis", but is that really is the reason of the relocation?

Yeah thats when the real interesring part starts. The weird part is this: if SDF pick a fight now they won't win. But they also know as time goes on Assad's government is only going to become more well resourced and stable as land is taken and his rule is recognized as legitimate again. If they wait til after ISIS they have even less chance of success. What do they do? They need to negotiate a peace.

I think the SDF are worried as right now Turkey and Qatar are as close to being on the same page with Assad since 2010, especially with this Saudi/UAE conflict. If Assad, Iran, Iraq, Qatar and Turkey all agree on the kurds, theyre fucked (with or without the americans). Assad might even face them after ISIS and ignore Idlib for now to keep Turkey on board.
Michael Brooks

Along with the huge "warning" bombings you pulled off at al-Tanf (several tanks blown up during first strike), I'm convinced USA is doing this to bait the russians into WW3.

Lovely R&U release, as always. The video shows that in urban enviroment experienced tank crews and capable storm troopers are invaluable.
Asher Foster
the distance wasn't that far so AMRAAMs are totally out of the question I guess the onboard gun could even be used in this situation Something tells me the pilot didn't intend to kill the Su-22 pilot, unless someone can provide proofs that indicate otherwise

A shit I didn't see the 2 missiles part, although 2 short range missiles aren't always a guaranteed kill >Also no guns are actually dangerous to use, since even if you get the enemy plane parts may fly into you. if I am not mistaken, you can use the onboard gun at atleast 0.6 miles and hit accurately with the software on the F/A-18, so debris won't be a problem >Or are just defending the US because your a eurocuck? dude shill out, I have been posting in this thread all the time lately I am on Assad's side. How is Iran doing so well (compared to its neighbours at least) when its run by fundamentalists?
Henry Morales
By the way, something fishy's going on. The released Alamqa footage didn't show tight urban enviroment in which SDF are trying to advance now, rather isolated buildings with mostly desert around. There was also no white phosphorus and a tragic amount of civilian casualites. So my guess is the footage published today was few weeks old, when SDF was advancing in the countryside. What makes one think, is they haven't reported much resistance, while they've been hit with many SVBIEDs and a lot of them sniped. To sum up: I might be mistaken, but I think the footage from Raqqa battle hasn't been included in this release, and SDF are lying as fuck about their casualties.
Jacob Hill
Because it's being run by fundamentalists. Otherwise they would've been dicked over by the US already
