Has Sup Forums ever tried running for office?

I'm not talking for senate, but just in small time city sort of stuff.
Could the alt-right gain actual political power across the US. Right now its just a bunch of fags like Richard spencer yelling at college kids.
I've been thinking about running for mayor in my small town

I haven't, but good luck

Gatta pull an Obongo start small and work up

Good luck user.

I ran for a small part time thing. Lost by 41 votes to the incumbent. Was kinda nice.

Thats actually pretty awesome. Mind going into any detail? Like how you registered, got your name out there, etc.

I don't know about you clowns but I'm successful at getting my bills passed. I also haggled the Muslim legislator in Minnesota so

Richard Spencer has a new love interest. Nina is leaving him with the kids. He's going to renounce a lot of what he said in order to try to bring WN's to a more loving and understanding ideology. You heard it here first.

Yeah, just don't run on the alt-right, and just say you are a Trump-style populist. But if you are in a small town, little issues that are local are more important and something like fixing potholes is pretty bipartisan. Good luck! Make sure to have connections in the community, through church, school and other social things.

>implying im not an elected official

You fags wont believe it but I am an elected congressman.

I work with a former New York congressman, in Texas. It's not so far-fetched.

absolutely

you can't win if you don't run

I don't believe you but I want to.

It won't do anything. Democracy is a fundamentally leftist system; the core ideal of leftism is egalitarianism and there is no principle more egalitarian than "one person, one vote". Trying to defeat liberalism through democracy is like trying to bankrupt a casino by being good at blackjack. The house always wins.

If you could take federal office that can at least help push us toward a winnable conflict or preserve some valuable things, but it's been more than a century since anything at the state level has had power that matters.

By all means pursue any change you think you can accomplish, but I'd bet it would be more valuable to create our own parallel institutions rather than trying to play in theirs.

I am a senator for kekistan
Based pedes xd

There are hundreds of us, and then of course the staff, and thousands upon thousands of aides and government employees.

The older clowns obviously dont but a number of the Jr. Republicans elected and not, lurk. I know at least one other congressman does cause we talk about it.

Im sure there are more.

This is a pretty popular site.

someone post that "nothing is beyond our reach" octopus

If we want to make a serious effort to start getting Sup Forumssters into office - local offices are definitely the way to go. City council positions and city commissions are easy to run for and in many counties some positions may not require a vote at all if there is a vacant position on the commission.

Local politics also offer the best chance for us to start making small, but meaningful changes to communities. Having a spot on your city's zoning commission, for example, may not carry as much clout as a state or federal government position, but it gives you influence over what kinds of residences and businesses are developed in your community.

I don't have any doubt there are staffers and aids running around here or state representatives but a US congressman would be pretty out there. Although now that I think about it Spicer is a huge weeb that almost certainly posts here so I guess crazier things have happened.

I have a dui no one would vote for me.

Ive been coming to Sup Forums for years.

I once considered it, but I did way too many degenerate things when I was younger.

Google Janusz Korwin Mikke.

Polish politician.
