No, the 80s

this. the 90's were garbage, objectively speaking.

it was better than now, obviously, but just imagine living in weimrar germany, or late-stage rome.

You mean like we do now?

Yes, not nearly as many people were addicted to porn and habitually masturbating.

I hate pornography. It has ruined society.

meh, just you wait cowboy, its gonna be a wild ride to the bottom.

Everything was fucking better pre-9/11

single most fucked up thing to ever happen, before then everything was lollipops and butterflies

current year get

I had a rat tail and some of those colorful pants with all the patterns on them, fuck yes life was better.

people complained about the 90's in the 90's

in 2020 you'll see people nostalgia fagging about the noughties too

Oh god yes

>I hate pornography. It has ruined society.

It really has. Why has nobody noticed that the countries with decent birth rates, marriage success rates, and low divorce rates are the same countries that don't have an internet connection in every home?

lol perfect way to spot reddit. talk about the 90's with somebody.

if they talk about news, lifestyle, and adult culture, they are fine

if they immediately mention pop culture trash for children, they are plebbit

It seems like it. Western countries were generally happier. You won't believe it, but Bill Clinton's dick was a source of entertainment for years. We didn't have constant war and terrorism.

The internet hadn't really taken off yet, and a lot of stuff was much less convenient. No Amazon or social media.

I hope you mean in our lifetime?

9/11 was the assassination of Franz Ferdinand of this century.

Much better. Technology was serving us. Now we are feeding it. The intellectual drain is unprecedented.

shit nigga i had all those things too

sure, I mean obviously there has been nukes and natural disasters, but it definitely fucked this generation up, the trust is gone

>reddit spacing
No, you is the real reddit.

It wasn't so much 9/11 as the whole war on terror and restriction of freedoms.

It stripped a lot of illusions away. Made me realize how Jewish conspiracy theories are pretty much right. We really are controlled by Israel. Between that and Muslim nutters and refugees, I find it hard to see a good future for the West.

Yes because "#90sBabiezzzz" were still babies and not voting

>Gulf of Tonkin
>US entry into WW2 allied with the Soviets--who raped and destroyed Germany as we knew it caused by communist-sympathizing FDR, who provoked Pearl Harbor to help is commie friend Stalin
>US entry into WW1 despite, again, overwhelming public disapproval of entering the war
yeah, bullshit everything was butterflies and lollipops before 9/11. The Iraq/Afghan Wars weren't nearly as detrimental to the h'White race as any of those mentioned above.

True, everything post 9/11 has been fucking shit.

>implying the war on freedoms was novel to Bush
Bush was NOTHING compared to FDR and Lincoln. He was practically Ron Paul compared to FDR

The 90's was a golden age compared to now

The cold war had just ended and there was a really comfy sense of unity and peaceful ease amongst nations. The economy picked up due to the dot com boom and there seemed to be an optimism to the future, and people looked forward to what it would bring. PC culture was pushed a bit by small groups of concerned mom's and tipper Gore, but was nearly non existent towards the end of the 90s when things like south park were pushing boundaries and gaining popularity.

The news wasn't constantly spewing hate and propaganda and fear. No one worried about terrorist attacks here or in europe. Immigration was low and the immigrants that did come legally were usually good and made the effort to assimilate and work and contribute to society. Kids played outside by themselves unsupervised for hours. You didn't have a cell you just went home when the street lights came on. Internet was new enough that only westerners and high class Asian nations used it. It wasn't accessible by everyone like today. There was no supervision online you were truly anonymous if you wanted to be. Aol, mirc, msn messenger, Yahoo messenger, icq were the Social interfacing programs most used. Dial up was still slow and took up the phone line so you weren't constantly ties to your computer 24/7.

People actually socialized, hung out, drive around, go for coffee, movies etc. Face to face human connection it was good.

commie kike.

>The economy picked up due to the dot com boom
retard

its called formatting faggot, learn what 'reddit spacing' is before you use the phrase

>Literally millions of Muslims entering Europe due to retarded lefties and the fact that most of the decent ME leaders have been murdered recently.
>Not detrimental to the White race.
The JIDF are back?

Germans were the largest ethnic group in the U.S. during world war I hence the reluctance to enter and the fact we were making money hand over fist from both sides killing each other. Sadly there was no way we could have kept playing both sides.

>>Literally millions of Muslims entering Europe due to retarded lefties and the fact that most of the decent ME leaders have been murdered recently
agreed.
>Not detrimental to the White race.
I didn't say that. I said that the Nazis being raped and cum replaced by the commies was the worst thing for the white race in history, even including the modern cuckery--which is a natural result of communism taking over the world stage and all of academia as a result of the US' particular involvement in WW2, as well as FDR's allowing communists to infiltrate the highest tiers of government, especially the State Department and the US' equivalent of the Ministry of Propaganda.

> hence the reluctance to enter and the fact we were making money hand over fist from both sides killing each other
I don't see how making money follows from German immigrants being a very large proportion of the US population

> Sadly there was no way we could have kept playing both sides.
yeah, actually, there was: STAY OUT OF THE WAR. The amount of capital (human and otherwise) as well as consumption lost as a result of the war was much higher than any of the arms sales or whatever it is you're implying here

We came close to greatness

"You're gonna love NAFTA!"

lmao

Not that close--Bill won by a solid margin. If he had actually ran for the Republican ticket in 1988 we would have come a lot closer.

the 90's were a time of economic boom, the .com bubble opened entirely new ways to get rich, it was a good time to be starting your life, thats why nostalgia for it is so strong

If you were a middle class kid. Yes. Amazing time to be a kid.

No

t. oldfag

The 90s had better Happenings.

9/11 & the new 24-hrs news cycle ruined it all

>C&C
Ouch. Right in the feels

everyone who wanted to work was making money

Bill seems like such a fun guy.

How old are you?

more reddit

if you want a real look into the wonders of the 90s just look up any music scene that was popular back then, even the degenerate ones. so many white people.

...

Lad, most of us were kids during the 90s. It is only natural that what we remember the most is what we enjoyed doing during that time, ie; video games. Not to mention the 90s were the fucking golden era of the industry,

Pete and Pete was on tv, so yes.

...

Remember when the entire cast of a show could be white and no one batted a god damn eyelash?

Hey, I wouldn't know any better, but I was listening to Offspring, having tree house wars with my friends. On weekends we'd take off and not come home until dinner just riding bikes and having water balloon fights. Oh and Donkey Kong Country 2... one of the best games of all time. Was great. Oh and late 90s internet surfing was a once in a life time kind of thing. Those times are gone now.

Jesus Christ just comment makes me rage so hard. The fact that a shitskin has to be horned in to fucking EVERYTHING nowadays. I long for a better time.

i understand that, but my fondest memories of the 90's/early 2000's was watching the news and grown up shows with my parents. of course i remember the kiddie shit, but i put those nostalgic thoughts away when i became a man, and i focused on the memories that still incite thought inside of me, like watching the shock and awe in iraq back in 2003.

i didnt understand it when i was a child, but i do now.

Bill Cosby the rapist or Bill Clinton...

...the rapist?

...

All of this. I graduated high school in the year 2000.

1998-2000 were THE BEST years of my fucking life. Can't explain it. Its the same sense that boomers talk about when they mention being in their 20's in the 1960's.

Now I'm a teacher, and feel bad for the current generation. They have a lot of shit to clean up. These kids will most likely be the generation where they become fiscally conservative like the parents who had kids AFTER the great depression, and were raising them after World War 2 in the 50's.

The 90s sucked. It's just that now sucks even more, so the 90s looks good by comparison.

I remember watching that same footage live on spic CNN when I was 13.
I thought Irak was in northern africa back then. Such a stupid kid I was.

>Jesus Christ just comment makes me rage so hard
ENGLISH MOTHER FUCKER. DO YOU SPEAK IT?

i was 7 so i was just wondering why they were saying it was live footage even though it was night time in the video

only from the mouths of babes

>be a weird gender, but don't know it(Not misgendered or anything, just have a dick and XX chomes)
>Parents don't tell me much because they are engineers and just want me to have the tools to learn stuff
>Students openly mock my weirdness
>Nickname is fag by the time I'm 8
>Got the nickname because other parents and teachers are allowed to openly call me it
Yeah, rather not go back to that shit tier life.

kill yourself you fucking tranny faggot

Do you look like a boy or a girl?

Yes, but I largely say that because it was my childhood.

I still wouldn't mind going back.

Thanks for ruining genders for everyone else fag. Oh but at least you are confortable now, who cares about the demographic collapse, am I right?

why do you come on 4 chan if you're sensative to being called a fag?

The 90s is when Ecstacy use became popular and blew up. MDMA pills were legal for a really long time before criminalized, but since it was a synthetic drug it could be altered ever so lightly to stay within legality.
NYC in the 90s were super tight. Gen X here.

shut up fag

Life was so much better in the 90s. Race relations were fine. No Muslims. Great econony. People were optimistic

T. Graduated high school in 2001

You could never have a character like Artie in a kid's show today.

Because its quite the opposite now. I enjoy being called it.
also the memes.
Yeah remember how little we talked about race growing up?
>t. 02 grad

I don't remember much about the show, other than the two lead characters. What was Artie like?

Yes, 90's Ireland was the perfect balance of technology and Catholic church influence. The Church wasn't so dogmatic that we had things like Magdalene laundries in the decades prior but it still stood in the way of degeneracy such as gay marriage and going to Mass was still commonplace which is great for bringing communities together. You don't see that in today's modern impersonal Ireland. The technology was at a good level where computers were efficient unlike today (Windows 7 needs 1GB just to run before running any user applications lmao), the internet was aesthetic and not bloated with javascript and we weren't yet met by the smartphone which ruined the internet thanks to phoneposters and made life sterile due to increased instant gratification. Ireland was also pretty much entirely Irish as immigrants didn't start coming until the turn of the millennium. Worldwide speaking 9/11 hadn't happened yet so people weren't as uptight and willing to sacrifice freedom and privacy for "safety".

yes

Don't get me wrong shoe horning in minorities for browny points piss me off but there were a few good shows that were a majority black cast or had the few token black members.

90s just goes to show it can be done right.
