Before I get started with today's thread, let me get some things out of the way. A few of you have been asking a lot of questions about this, so let me answer them. No we are not LARPers, this is a legitimate endeavor with investors and a genuine plan of attack. We acquired the islands due to the parent company of the company who owned and was selling them going out of business, I emailed the selling company and they said that they were releasing claims on all un-purchased land that they owned. Yes, I have done a survey of it, and I have spoken to my friend who works at the UN and he says as long as it's not a declared military annexation that it is perfectly legal to plant a flag there.
Alright, now that that is out of the way, a lot has been done in the last 24 hours. We have created a website, secured an investor, created a fully fleshed out map of where everything on the island will be and devised a plan to improve the Saronic-Greek relations.
The investor claimed that he would be willing to invest in the future once we plant the first flag on the land, the member of the discord who discussed this with him claims that he is extremely wealthy and is willing to invest "a pretty penny."
The plan to improve Greek-Saronic relations is as follows: We employ a lot of native greeks during the initial development phase of the infrastructure, thus creating jobs for the greek economy and at the same time reducing the amount of payouts the Greek government has to make to keep it's citizens from starving. Due to the proximity to athens, there is a very large population of people that are able to be employed without a long plane or boat ride each morning.

Ok but can you make sure you approve of Nuclear power on the island? also using advanced reactor designs like molten salt reactors, liquid metal reactors and the latest non-meme tier fusion reactor designs like Liquid metal piston anvil fusion reactor that general fusion are selling.
Once the above is implemented, you'll secure your energy sector with a sustainable, cheap, clean energy resource. No country will have any excuse from invading you on the premise of energy. The island should also have abundant thorium/uranium deposits just from the soil alone with these new efficient reactors. Hydrogen can also be collected for fusion from seawater.
Non-reliance on oil will keep the island secure in the long term. With the abundant energy and heat, you can then do chemical processes that were deemed too expensive and infeasible in the past. You can use reactor heat to drive fractional distillation and make your own petroleum dirt cheap since the energy comes from nuclear forces. You can do all sorts of inorganic chemistry with enough energy, and since that energy is cheap, it is feasible.
Isotopes that these new reactors make can be sold on the market for huge amounts of money, since they are so rare and current pressure water reactors are impossible to harvest these resources from because of the nature of their design (solid fuel pellets).
You can sell Xenon, Plutonium 238, and among other chemical elements to NASA for hundreds of millions if not billions of dollars in profit.
You can create bismuth 213 to create alpha emitting radio-isotopic therapy for cancer patients, a suppressed technology that can instantly cure any cancer.
You can create precious metals and make billions of dollars from actual dirt from the island.
It is exceedingly important to secure these energy resources if you want the state to survive the impending energy crisis (Fossil Fuels)

Weather tends to be nice, minimal cloud covering. Perfect for solar power. As for the swells, the shores are quite rocky and extend 6-7 feet up. I doubt that on average swells go to +5ft.
