Lads, I'm concerned. Its setting in for me, what would be lost if current trends continue. It wont just be another Roman Empire. The British have created something unique in the world, Common Law, English ambiguity in government, the continuation of tradition without the need to write things down for posterity, etc. How we're a monarchy when every other European monarchy has failed, and also democratic, with a system that would never work in any other country. Things that are truly unique, truly wonderful will suffer the same fate as every other society.
