I had my appedix out and my Ball cancer sorted with no problems. I cannot say a bad thing about my treatment.
However, my wife was on anti-depressants and has seen numerous consultants in almost every field of medicine. Her problems persisted with the only serious advice being to 'stay pregnant, because that is when your hormones are keeping you sufficiently stable'.
It turns out she only needs a monthly injection of VITAMIN B12. £1a jab.
NHS will save your life when you need them to but don't expect much if you need long term help.

NHS saved my father from being blind, saved my cousin who had a severe heart condition and my other cousin who had testicular cancer.
The NHS does it's Job and I'm thankful it was there, otherwise my father would've been blind.
But, over the years, overcrowding from all these immigrants have ruined the NHS.

I have central nervous system issues. They either ignore or deliberately miss-diagnose. On another note, every week there is a story about a family trying to raise funds to send someone to America for a treatment denied or unavailable on the sacred cow that is the NHS.
