Why is it that in esports there are literally no female players? Starcraft I & II, Dota I & II, League of Legends, Heroes of the Storm, Smite, Counterstrike, CS:GO, and Overwatch all have one thing in common: their pro scenes are literally entirely all-male.

I remember how blown away I was when I was watching Starcraft II and the player "Scarlett" sat down. It looked almost like an ugly female in the dim light of the stadium. As a female who has played competitive esports all her life, I had started to believe that women biologically didn't have the brains for it: I never made it to 2800 rating in WoW, Challenger in LoL, or Global Elite in CS:GO. Imagine how inspiring it was to see some ugly-ass white girl playing Starcraft II and mopping the floor with a chinko-asian dude. For an hour I believed that my gender wasn't holding me back, and I just needed to play more and get better.

Then they started talking about how brave he is for transitioning, my heart sank to the floor. It's like for a moment I felt like I wasn't unfairly disabled, and then in the next, it was like the rug was pulled out from under me; all just a big fucking joke. ):

Why are there no legitimate women in esports? And if trannies are so brave, why aren't they brave enough to kill themselves?

Women don't like to compete directly, they like to compete indirectly. They actually can't stand having to compete head on against someone on the same playing field.

Whenever I've seen a girl who plays League, any time she loses her lane she assumes it's because the other guy is specifically trying to be an asshole to HER, not because the other guy is better and wants to win. That kind of mindset does not turn you into a great player of any sport or game.

You should look up male and female IQ distributions. Not that IQ is the only measure for succes in e-sports, but it paints an interesting picture. Men are more likely to excell or to fail. Most top CEO's are men, most homeless people are also men. Women tend to be average at everything.

I feel like I have the drive to win. I've made it to diamond 3 in LoL, 2400 in WoW and made it to Legendary Eagle in CS:GO. It's always like that last threshold I can never break. Believe me I spent several hours a day for an entire summer just watching my own replays, trying to get friends to tell me if there's anything I'm missing or how I can improve, but seemed like no matter how dedicated I was, I just plateaued.

Then when I was a senior this freshman boy approached me after he saw photos of one my cosplays, and was like "Oh you play league? :)" followed by this 15-year-old giving me his summoner name. I added him with the mindset of "he's a nice enough kid, I'll hop on a smurf and boost him a bit for funsies. do I need a gold or silver smurf?"

I'm pretty sure it's a culture thing, I've met older women who are amazing at making a decision on the spot based on limited info.

I think some of it is the new idea that you can't tell anyone they did anything bad or wrong because muh self-esteem. I've noticed most women this generation can't handle pressure because every since they learned they can tell the teachers "im really stressed right now" they've never actually had to take more shit than they expected. Guys, who already play competitive games more often, learned how to handle pressure and rapid descision making. Guys also tend to take a situation that throws a lot of pressure on them in stride and see it as a challenge instead of pussying out.

I actually think it's the same reason men dominate STEM fields, I'm 2 years into STEM and every single class there's multiple girls who drop out or stop showing up partway through because they just couldn't handle the pressure.

I'm high 6k in dota. My reaction time is terrible but I have good game sense and predictions.
I'm at my absolute cap because the people past my level have both my game sense and better reaction time. There's only so much one aspect of gameplay can take you.

If you watched my replays maybe you'd agree, but maybe 1% of my deaths were due to mechanical slowness, glitchiness, or just straight-up fails. 99% were due to not being able to read my opponent, getting baited into a trap, or just not anticipating correctly how they would react to something.

Video games are just one of a huge list of things that women can't do as well as men. I'm not saying women can't do some things better than men because they can. Things like having babies, doing the dishes and the laundry and of course sucking cock.

People are going to tell you a whole bunch of bullshit which is probably true in this thread but as a former pro esport nigga I'm going to tell you the two main, core factors that cannot be overcome and keep women out of the top.

The first is reaction time. Women's nervous/musculatory systems just do not have the same capacity for twitch muscle reflex and intuitive thoughtless action that men do.
The second is APM(actions per minute). Females cannot generate the 340+ APM that you need to consistently pump out to keep pace with a finely tuned male esport player. Some of these guys can maintain 400+ APM with no sweat.
It's not a matter of how competitive you are. Your body simply isn't designed to keep pace with it.

There are some female pros in Hearhstone on par with their male counterparts. Mostly because RNG is a huge factor and the game is based on taking discrete tempo turns. It requires no hand-eye coordination, spatial awareness or good reflexes unlike, say, Dota 2.

Hearthstone is not an esport holy shit. It's a stupid RNG -fest that is horrendously unfun to watch. It's not just boring and stupid because it's a card game- I used to go to Yugioh and CFV tournaments as a kid- it's easily the shittiest competitive card game in the world.
