This is only true if your starting condition is 'The Healthcare must be insurance payments'. There are far more reasonable proposals that are much more affordable, like direct payment for services rendered (essentially making doctors independent contractors to the health system itself). Converting pure hospitals into health centers would provide the profit motive for aftermarket health goods.
But we're not here for answers, so this won't happen.

It's unrealistic to expect America to have a single payer healthcare system with its current "diverse" population. You can see in Europe how their systems are under already so much strain, and their "diversity problem" is far less than in America.

It's a moot point considering how many blacks are already on SSDI/Medicare/Medicaid; it's virtually all once you factor in blacks in public employment whose healthcare costs are also absorbed by the taxpayer.
That being said, blacks pose substantially larger costs to any healthcare system, single-payer or not, due to their poor decision-making faculties. They're about half of all new HIV/AIDS infections, much more likely to be obese and suffer those concomitant illnesses, much more likely to require ER services, and so on, and so on.
Unrelated to cognitive ability and lifestyle choice, different groups pose different risks as a result of their genetic makeup. Asians and whites are much more likely to suffer osteoporosis than other groups, blacks are often afflicted with sickle cell anemia, etc.
What leftist don't understand is that solidarity only works in homogeneous societies.

People are more likely to spend money (or in this case, have a willingness to be taxed) if their money is going to support people like them. Look at a genetically homogenous nation like Iceland - people will happily forefeit tax dollars for universal healthcare because they are, by extension, helping a population that is essentially an extended family.
America, by contrast, has a population that has no genetic bond. Why would I, a Californian in Los Angeles waste tax dollars on a city with a population that more often than not makes me feel like a foreigner in my own country? The return on interest is terrible.
tl;dr - universal healthcare (and welfare, generally speaking) is a fundamentally good idea in nations where the population has a genetic obligation to see their less well off countrymen succeed.
medschool fag here. If a medical professional doesn't consider the race of a patient it's very dangerous and they're very likely to be sued for malpractice. Races respond very differently to medicine and anatomically are very different from one another. Their immune systems are also different.
