No smart brit pays for the pedo protection agencys fee.
I throw all the letters in the bin. I don't even watch live tv at all.
The bbc has produced nothing that even interests me in years.
>Doctor Who
Went to shit 5 years ago
>muh drama
I will just read pride and prejudice.

Watching any live visual transmission requires you to pay for a TV licence otherwise you're breaking the law. Even if its a non UK online channel. Even if it's YouTube live let's plays. You have to pay a licence for it.

I keep hearing about how easy it is to cut the cable but I can't seem to find any good live channel services, there are plenty of netflix type services where you can browse a catalog, but nothing works for live channels, kodi sucks.

any suggestions for this oldtimer?

>Even if it's YouTube live let's plays
Not like they can check. They would have to be passed the data from the ISPs, that is against the DPA. And i have a vpn up most of the time now anyway.

How does it feel when searching your network's name in Google returns more porn than news articles?

It gives us a good excuse to be degenerate bbc loving whores, and have an excuse to give Sup Forums :P

I'm American. I steal the BBC stream with a vpn. Your a cuck to pay for a licence.

Lol reading. Fag.

Stopped watching BBC around the time of Brexit when they literally had 0 shame in being so obviously bias.

That said I've never paid for a TV licence because I've rarely lived on ground level and you can just tell the inspectors to fuck off.

Only idiots let them in their homes.

do the inspectors come around often?

Well yeah, it is easy to avoid paying, more chance of getting busted for torrenting, but that is technically the law.

>be australian
>get free tv
Struuuueeeeeetthhh

>gets free tv
>Gov thinks aussies are to much of sissys to handle over 18 games
I will take the bbc "system" over that.

I bet there's not one single paki who's ever paid a pound for any tv in Britain.

Yeah nah I get to watch a channel dedicated enturely to food or another that is mostly older sitcoms. I am happy.

Besides anyone with have a carton knows how to pirate. Shit its big bogan business selling burnt games and dvds. Good too as our major ISP has stated they wont release customer information and download habits.

VPN + bittorrent

Thats good m8. Just like what i do with the tv licence, only chumps pay for for it.
Nice to see you have an ISP that has balls.

>our major ISP has stated they won't release customer information and download habits
>Tfw even though our internet is fucking shocking, our ISPs are pretty based

Good onya too lad.
Yeah Telstra was pressured during the whole Game of Thrones piracy blowup here but they refused.

I rarely have problems with speeds and I am getting the NBN upgrade free in a month.
Rather slower net than super strict browsing

I think it's supposed to be once a year but to be honest I've only ever spoken to them twice.

Once it was blatantly obvious you could hear I was watching the news and I just said no I dont have a TV please leave my property. (We just kind of stared out for 5 seconds then he left.)

They try to be pushy and imply they have the right, but they can't enter your property without permission.

>Game of Thrones piracy blowup
They have got piracy to thank for that shows success.

It's funny that you can see youtube videos of the licence "enforcement agent" getting told to fuck off. Some even run away when you try to film them. They are know to use bully tactics on people to make them pay up. Even looking in windows to "catch" you watching tv. They have 0 real power. They are not aloud to even step in to your house untill you invite them.(big mistake on your part if you do)

Sorry, I tried to be as clear as possible- finding services for movies or sitcoms is easy. I'm asking about live channel streaming like for sports or news. Many claim its possible (like kodi apps for example) but utterly fail, miserably.

Some non-bongs might not have seen this beauty.

It's an advert from the 80s about TV licence detector vans.

youtu.be/w6Zr9-gXpkA

Haha holy shit thats pathetic.
Imagine being the guy that goes door to door checking if the good people aren't watch tele.
What a joke

Yeah mine is pretty deece as well (rarely have issues with the service and can get a theoretical max of 100mbs) but I would say we're the exception.
>Rather slower net than super strict browsing
Fully agree with you there, my dude

well i just came across this vid and i think its rediculous how the police just stand by

youtube.com/watch?v=JgBwq_2e1XY

>be me
>use proxy
>BBC says can only watch if you have tv license
>watch anyway

I think that guy already had the fine. If he was ordered to pay a fine and refused the bailiff is in the right.

You'll find a lot of videos telling the inspectors to fuck off. As long as you don't let them in, or they video you from outside you can't get caught.

>And they're watching Columbo.
BBC didn't air any locally produced shows at night?

What if I'm blind? Do I still need to pay for a tv license?

He already made the mistake of letting them see he is waching tv.

The balif is there to enforce a court fine. The aim that you take is to not let them in, in the first place.
They have to present evidence in court that you do. The enforcement agent's testimony will be used against you if you let them in.
Tell them fuck off at the door while filming on your phone, you could be cheaky and add "i don't pay for the pedo protection network"

They get a discount. You still pay for foir the propaganda other see.

omg the woman is so polite.

>Sup Forums tells me I don't need to pay
>follow their advice
>sent this
how fucked am I?

BBC is a pile of garbage, all pretty much panel 'comedian' shows with left wing bias, shitty period dramas and 5 year old re-runs of family guy.

To top it off every now and then they'll play a blockbuster movie from the 90s and act like its a world exclusive we should all be grateful for.

Move out of your bullshit country

It's just another one of their scare tactics.

You think the BBC 'enforcement officers' have any power? desu

You gave them your name.
You fucked up.
Deal with it.

It sounds crazy but yes. You'd get a discount though.

The fucking blind discount hahaha.

Idk, BBC enforcement officers sound tough. And rough.

So does 'gay rape enforcer' does it mean you're gonna let me fuck you?

Looks like you can still give them 131.50 to make it go away.

And if it weren't for the website on there, I would have guessed the letterhead hadn't been updated since the 70s.

Nobody younger than 40 pays a TV license anymore lad. There's nothing the BBC does that's even worth watching anymore apart from peaky blinders maybe, and that's on netflix now anyways

youtube.com/watch?v=Nz19qxxKAfQ
Follow this video and learn. Keep your mouth shut and your door closed.

yeah i know that, i just think its funny you can be fined for tv licencing when the only thing you are actually paying for is the bbc.
yeah, i wish the officers i have met were as polite.

I mean, yeah, I know you don't make the rules, you just enforce them. We all have to do our jobs

i found this vid funny because this guys clearly thinks hes a cop and starts reading rights lol

youtube.com/watch?v=4TaUKamN_dg

Yeah it's a strange rule that. If i'm paying for something like sky sports, they'll just assume I can also watch the BBC, so I must do.

I find it hubris that they think people will watch that rubbish if they did not have to pay for it.
Only reason why is " i am paying for it, i may as well watch it"

>BBC used to have quality programming.
>loved some of their old shows like Monty Python, Are you being served, Keeping up appearances, Faulty Towers, Benny Hill, Last of the Summer Wine, etc
>Realize those shows are gone forever. Never to return.

I loved your British humor. It makes me sad knowing it is all gone now. Replaced with SJW Orwellian bullshit.

Lollll what the actual fuck
>license for watching anything

God you guys are fucked.

Watching these, I can't help but wonder how many TV licence checkers have been attacked for trying to do their job.

Same as baliffs i imagine.

Haha, just wait, they'll news a fucking license for anything. All those 1984-ish movies from the 80's about England turning into a socialist hell hole are coming true. Just watch Brazil, the scene where the terrorist bombs the restaurant they are eating at and they just ignore it is coming happening.

Real question, do we allow the Brits that want to leave you enter the US? I don't want my country turning out like theirs.

dont know about that but heres a video of a tv licence guy hitting someone

youtube.com/watch?v=bA5LG4qbAnI

how do we separate the cucks from the normal people? I don't want those fags to come here that love socialism (as long as there is still capitalism paying for it) and then flee when the well runs dry. We have enough useless faggots who vote liberal and don't need any more.

>thinking anything but students are liberal in the UK
Chavs are mostly right wing m8. That or they don't give a fuck and want to just smoke weed.

I just want normal people who don't want big brother breathing down their back.

I see England and it makes me sad thinking how many people that are living there can't stand it and want things to go back.

>Stopped watching BBC around the time of Brexit when they literally had 0 shame in being so obviously bias.
No shit.
youtube.com/watch?v=dUhuv_QFYCA

Most people hate immigration and political correctness. However, unless you live here, its difficult to fully appreciate the power of censorship. Its overwhelming. I used to work in an office, every week was diversity training, gender relations training, dont offend anyone in the workplace or you'll lose your job, then the next company will say

>"oh you made a female member of staff uncomfortable when she asked if you would vote lavour but you sensibly and calmly stated your opinions which happened to be different to hers? Well Mr.user, this company does not stand for hate speech and sexist harassment"

Then your on the dole and if you dont commit suicide, your a survivor. This happened to me. Still looking for work. Never again will I speak with a female co-worker about ANYTHING non-work related. Its just too risky.

>how fucked am I?
0% fucked.
Just tell them you aren't letting them in and you doon't watch TV.

also i want to say the name is misleading and i dont agree with licencing.

the licence is not actually for a tv-its only for wacthing the bbc. were it for tv then all tv channels would get the money but its not.

as i dont watch the bbc i dont see why i should have to pay for it and especially as in other countries watching the bbc is free.

also the bbc makes shows for american tv which are not broadcast over here-so all in all its unfair and its cost every person £145 a year.

Videos like this literally make my heart pound with rage. Good on the homeowner for keeping his cool, I never could have stayed that calm. Fuck you user now I'm going to have to watch kitten videos to calm down.

Truth, should be made a subscription service only. I'll only pay for sports because I want to fucking watch it. Don't want to pay an extra £132 just because I am able to access the BBC.

Everyone has a mobile or computer, you can watch it on their website, what's next an internet licence?

oh believe me theres worse

this reminds me of when the agents are trying to unlawfully evict me and forced their way into my house. i told them there were not allowed in i wish i had filmed them.

they also put up illegal notices on my windows saying the property had been abandoned (it hadnt, and i had paid up till the end of the month) gave me a fucking heart attack. now they are trying to be nice with me after i called their bluff about taking me to court-got a lot of evidence against their illegal practises. hate fuckers like this.

Don't give them ideas.

Not only that but they were trying to get rid of Clarkson for wrongthink for ages.

He's not even right wing, just doesn't give a fuck.

Lead to them having no programs left that I wanted to watch and losing them one of their greatest assets in the process.

too late they already did this

if you watch their iplayer without a licence they can get you. however: a lot of people upload bbc programmes to youtube (like question time) so i just watch it there. its better too as their streaming service is shit.

It's like £140 a year. Literally three hours' wages for a whole year of TV.

i dont think its fair we have no choice in paying for it.

should be an opt in thing, and i wouldnt because any programme i want to watch of theirs i would watch on youtube and i only really watch question time and i dont thinks thats worth £145 a year no matter how much banter there may be.

kek stop with the trolling
>140 is 3 hours wages

yeah you rent boys make more money than the rest of us but i cant be clowing tory mps m8y.

Serious dystopian shit, come home white man, move to the land of the free.

Of Trump passes the no government benefits for five years on immigrants and you don't mind busting your ass, then move here. Also, at work, even when the government hearing are taking place and we listen to it at work, we don't bring home the politics about it or show how we feel about it. Liberals do, but we deal with it, just work your ass off and you'll get respect and opportunities.
