What you don't get is that race is a sum of things.

In other words, having dark features doesn't automatically make you a subhuman if you can make it up with other qualities. But chances are you are still a subhuman, not for the dark features but for your lack of other valuable european attributes.

If you look totally white then there are no doubts, you are european in principle.
If it is not obvious, then you have to prove it with your actions.
