Inflation's been pretty stable, I suppose they are just siezing this chance to catch up and raise prices to a more realistic level.

The side dishes are mashed potato salad, cole slaw, southwestern black bean and corn salad. The sauces are most likely made using the typical bbq sauce as a base.

They put a notice up that said prices on carne asada items would be going up because of a beef shortage. The price ended up going up on everything. Taquerias used to be for poor spics. Now it's more expensive than any other fast food place.
My local taco bell still sells those beefy fritos burritos for $1. Still probably cheaper to make your own.
