Yes. The Iraq war was a mistake. We should never have gone there, or at least we should have left there a long time ago.

Everything America does is a mistake, infact America itself is a mistake

Afghanistan was/is the bigger mistake.

Yes. Even the first Iraq War was a mistake.

Saddam was a good guy for the most part. Certainly better than Kuwait and better than the elements within his own country that he oppressed.

It was a poor application of American military power and diplomatic capital. With Saddam there would have been no ISIS.

>Was the Iraq war a mistake?

No. It was very intentional.

First mistake was taking the bait into that war. Second mistake is not completely obliterating them.

De-Bathification was the real mistake.

Yes. It was a mistake to go in. The war itself was conducted terribly and didn't achieve its own goals.

Our men fought well but the generals and congress doomed it all to failure. The troops deserved better.

I just want the War on Terror to be over for good.

Would be interested to hear from anons who can justify this war.
Not trolling - I learn a lot from here.

Went to kill muzzies. Killed 5 muzzies. No mistakes made.

More dead brown people

Even in Nazi German we didn't disband the army. And by the way in Nazi Germany we had enough soldiers to get the job done.

Top leadership acted like the country would liberate itself.

No, The Iraw war threatened the supremacy of the american dollar. Every life lost was worth it.

WW2 was a mistake, you guys fought against the wrong guy.

>fight for ZOG
>not a mistake

lad...

Seeing as the average IQ on here is extremely low, and a lot of faggot ass military members post here while sitting on their asses getting paid on government dime, allow me to paraphrase Sup Forums's stance:

"It's a good thing when the United States invades another country, and if you disagree... you're a Communist."

There. Thread over. Now go back to your Internet porn while shitposting about degeneracy.

Question

Why do soldiers hold the stock above their shoulder like that?

I'm guessing two things, but they're guesses
1. shitty eye relief
2. urban combat, taught to reduce barrel length

Can anyone enlighten?

>Yes. It was a mistake to go in. The war itself was conducted terribly and didn't achieve its own goals.
>Our men fought well but the generals and congress doomed it all to failure. The troops deserved better.
>I just want the War on Terror to be over for good.
All good and true points but the kind of war needed to stop this will never happen. (barring of course some nuclear 9/11 type shit). After 2 trillion dollars, and countless years and dead U.S. soldiers I'm getting tired of it all. We need to do what Genghis Khan did. But Americans are pussy whipped PC fags.

The WMD's bullshit you always hear from liberals might be a complete lie. Hussein was given months to dump them, so he might have actually had them. Also he was one of the worst dictators ever and had tried to build world ending nuclear weapons before. I honestly don't know how to feel about the Iraq war, I do know that it ended as a fucking disaster but when liberals talk about it like it's "anudda shoah but this time muslims!!!" I die a little inside.

Inadvertent due to trying to shoulder the stock while wearing a bunch of equipment.

t. current PMC and OEF/OIF combat veteran

probably not. Muslims have turned out to be a real problem throughout the world and I don't think it's because of Iraq. It was a problem brewing and the party had to be busted up.

America doesn't make mistakes faggot. We went there for a reason, just not the one you were told.

B-but the babies in the incubators

Btw, I love how Alex Jones tier "redpilled" people claim WW2 was a just war while knowing about 9/11, the Iraq wars, gulf of Tonkin, Operation Northwood etc. Because the US was TOTALLY different before 1942 right? haha

>Canada
>calling anyone else a mistake

Nah Afghanistan was pretty much a shitskin safari. Wicked fun time.

yo i did 2 tours in afghanistan as a medic and have my civilian paramedic certs. is it worth it to pick up one of those 105/35 crazy pay PSS-medic jobs?

is it as sweet a gig as it sounds?

Absolutely.

Oy vey! Did you forget we're the good goys and we need to make peace in the middle east.
Theres WMDs and terrorists trying to make a caliphate dont give up, be good goys!

depends on who you ask. you talk to the CIA/ Mossad faggits on this board and they'll say no. but if you ask the wily veterans of this board more than likey they'll say yeah.

It was a mistake to transition our military to nation building, both in Iraq and Afghanistan

Buddy of mine got his head blown off in the Iraq war to make some bankers and corporations richer. It wasn't a mistake, American soldiers and civilians are just numbers to these psychopathic sadistic fucks who crave power and profits.
Our society, especially the media elevate and cheer on our soldiers as heroes, we award their bravery and courage (not financially, but with trinkets). At the end of the day this is what they are to the people who matter and run our foreign policy..
"Military men are just dumb, stupid animals to be used as pawns in foreign policy.” -― Henry Kissinger

war is hell (for some people)

Unlike everyone ITT I wasn't brainwashed from age 4 on trying to spout whatever I was told to believe.

Some parts of Iraq, such as Iraqi Kurdistan, have definitely improved. In fact they’ve improved a lot. Iraqi Kurdistan is one of the most liberal and developed places in the Middle East.
As for ISIS, it is being contained and steadily driven out. Most of Iraq is relatively peaceful.

Remember Iraq now has freedom and democracy and a fair and sane leadership with a spirited army who has learned how to fight and repel ISIS.

Also, I think it’s important to remember what the state of Iraq was before the Iraq War. It was ruled by Saddam Hussein, who was killing thousands of Iraqis and waging genocide. So it’s not as if the US ruined Iraq, it was already ruined. Looking at Iraq and saying the Iraq War ruined it is a little silly. Nationbuidling takes time, Iraq’s future will only improve as forces in the region are tamed.

So overall, Iraq would still be an authoritarian regime with a lot of genocide and oppression, US would be a little bit richer, and ISIS may not exist. But overall, given the progress made in Iraq by the US, Iraq, and the Coalition Forces, I’d say it was worth it.

PICK ONE, CIA FAGGIT

Due to the 7th floor shakeup and Trump's insistence that DOS get their budget slashed in the last continuing resolution it's not the best time for it.

Were also going through some pretty big client driven reforms which leads to a lot of BS.

What MOS were you? What year?

>and ISIS may not exist.
You can thank Obama and Hillary for unleashing that beast. ME only seems to do well when under a brutal dictator.

>the US was totally different before 1942?

I think a case could be made it was. Care to argue your point?

Every war since 1847 has been a mistake Tbh

Only a 68W attached to a line company, nothing crazy. I was in 08 to 12 and deployed in RC-East 09 and 11.

Did my 4 years and dipped, moved on to better things but like everybody else I kind of miss it.

I appreciate the advice though, I keep getting emails from recruiters making contracting sound good but I also don't want to get murdered guarding some USAID guy trying to tell the locals to stop growing that sweet, sweet heroin.

It worked out great for 1 country
Not US

Killing brown people is never a mistake.

In terms of corrupted, false flagging government? No it was n ot.

>Lusitania
>Pearl Harbor

You seem to forget who put Saddam in power in the first place.

>>Pearl Harbor
Not sure if PH never happened we would have gotten into WW2.

>devil kinda confirms

Well FDR let it happen on purpose to drag you in because his masters told him so.

The ROE have gotten really fucked for us. If you did want to dip in I'd suggest you get used to rolling slick with a Glock shoved into your waistband or no weapon at all. I

I was in RC-east in 09' on taskforce. Wonder if we saw each other.

Damn, that's awfully light but maybe just a year doing it before it starts to really wind down might be worth it.

Only guy I ever worked with in tiger stripes I actually met last year on the job here in DC. It's a small military tho bro, we probably passed by or something.

This. Iraq war was planned in advanced. The average American got sent the bill though

Let's see...

>911 falseflag (Project for the New American Century)
>Over a million dead Iraquis
>Thousands of dead Americans
>Middle East de-stabilized forever
>Millions of rapefugees flood Europe
>Record deficit spending and debt to pay for the war

Fighting Israel's wars is always a mistake you stupid kike.

Iraq is the same shithole it ever was, the US is no more secure. Trillions spent, thousands of US dead and a million+ dead in iraq as a result of the turmoil. Every time we try to leave ISIS or the equivalent takes over.

The people responsible for Iraq, Libya, and now Syria would be tortured and the killed live on tv in a just world.

You're in DC???

I was the youngest guy at the AUSA conference. I'm in DC. Beltway bandit and all that.

yea, should have just nuked the entire middle East.

>leaf

I went from Army medic to Firefighter-Medic lol, I've worked for the DCFD (fems technically lol) for about 3 years now.

So was WWI and our Civil War. Invading you guys was admittedly a pretty dick move too, sorry about that pham.

>The entire GWOT was worth it simply due to the half dozen teenaged army slampigs I was blessed to be allowed to penetrate while resupplying at BAF and Shank.

every war fought by the US starting with WWI was to advance the globalist agenda and make shekels off of people's suffering, all while making the ignorant Americuck masses support it by drumming up patriotism and pretending that it is about "freedom and democracy". And over these past 100 years, we Americans have never learned, all you have to do is wave the flag and these stupid fucks will do anything, throwing their lives away for the jews that run the country.

I would even start with the war of northern aggression desu

the civil war is what got the ball rolling for the national government to become a massive totalitarian regime, the North won and states' rights were officially made meaningless

I'm in DC. [email protected]

I know. IMHO the actual US died in 1861 when it invaded itself illegally. Then the FED follows and from there it is only downhill

[email protected] brah

Absolutely! Does anyone even question this?

the wars were a mistake, but they gave americans 15 years of combat experience. This experience is going to be needed during the coming race war. luckily most infantrymen are white.

This.

Even US military commanders on the ground knew diabanding the Iraqi Army was a mistake. They had senior Iraqi officers surrendering to them and asking for manual labor jobs to keep their troops working on clearing rubble and the like so they could keep getting pay checks. Brenner said nope so the Iraqi troops took their weapons and went home.

You can imagine what happened next

yes, should have let those animals destroy eachother

If you have national registery paramedic go work for a Fire Dept. They always want full medics and most have good pay, 48/96 sechedule and full benefits

youll get paid to work out and play xbox at a fire station for half your shift

All Western governments are branches of the ZOG octopus. Freemasonry is the tentacles which the yid parasite uses to take control of a nation's elite.

Once their control over the media and the political establishment is total, ((they)) can justify anything (murdering children, bombing people into the stone age, false-flagging, welcoming foreign hordes of terrorists, drone strikes, extra-judicial assassinations, etc) ANYTHING as long as it furthers Israel's foreign policy objectives.

Remember goy, it's all for Freedom(tm)

nigel i work in dc 24/72 and do 20+ runs a day. they're all nogs, shit sux

The only mistake was pulling out prematurely.

Dang go West young man

/ strong advice brotha. just how far west tho

;-)

We should only destroy not rebuild. If we rebuild these shit countries the locals will have no since of attachment to it. When/ if they rebuild, if we do not like it we destroy again.

Nation building was a mistake.

>killing muslims
>a mistake

the neocon arguments were noble to an extent and christopher hitchens in particular was convincing, but yeah looking back it was a really, really biblical big mistake.

Most of the american soldiers there were also shitskins

The only mistake we made in Iraq was believing we needed to fight this new war.
Total war is the only way to win. Leave your enemy no where to hide.
Civilians are nothing but potential soldiers or insurgents. If they can't leave town after we give them multiple warnings they should die.

If history has taught us anything, almost every city that was ever leveled during war has been rebuilt better than it was the day it was destroyed.
With any luck when we attack Korea we level the entire country. It will be better after we rebuild.

>

t. Zionist cuck

Yes, it's a massive money sink, who could say otherwise?

Not if you're paid weapons contractor.

:/

Best answer. America needs to be destroyed.

Depends. I think it went exactly as planned.

Problem is 10 or 12 Jews in an office on the Upper East side planned it.

If you are a Whitebread Goy American, it may be the biggest mistake in US history.

Yes and the kikes and their Eternal Anglo servants keep making the (((mistake)))

1 million less potential refugees

At least what is America now. I don't think the founding fathers would like it.

Please redpill me on this.

There is no redpill on it. FDR wanted war with Germany, Pearl Harbor wasn't going to guarantee that anyway. Germany was the one that declared war on the US .
But going back to Pearl, a lot of US commanders and intelligence officers knew Japan was going to attack at some time but didn't know where.
The Americans in Washington DC only discovered it was Pearl Harbor a few hours before the attack started and the warnings didn't arrive until the attack was underway. That wasn't due to some conspiracy theory, that was due to the fact the message was being delivered to Hawaii by regular telegram.

>"Seeing as the average IS on here is extremely low"
>Grrrr, I'm angry because I'm a beta-cuck

You don't say? Back to your liberal arts degree and crippling debt faggot. Also, this isnt tumblr.

The 2 biggest winners of the Iraq war were trained Israelis and kurds

That war it's going to backfire once they lose control of the former iraqui army.

FDR also created the Federal Reserve

Even if he wanted it, that was on Wilson's watch
