ITT: Tell us why you REALLY voted that way

I'll start:

2000 - I voted for Al Gore because I was a young idiot and thought Bush was stupid.

2004 - I voted for Kerry because I still thought Bush was stupid and evil. Plus I was still in grad school so I hadn't had a real job yet.

2008 - Finally redpilled, I voted for McCain because there was no way I would vote for a nigger and even though I didn't like McCain there was a chance to get a hot conservative MILF into the white house (pic related).

2012 - Voted for Romney because I actually wanted him to become president, plus there was no way I'd vote for a nigger.

2016 - Voted for Trump because I agreed with so many of his policies, lack of political correctness etc. Plus there is no way I would want Hillary fucking Clinton to be president.

2000 - Gore

2004 - Kerry

2008 - Obama

2012 - Obama

2016 - Wrote in Bernie

>I was a young idiot and thought Bush was stupid.
Really makes me think

McCain was worse than obongo, was strongly against a wall, supported a path to citzenship, super pro war

>trump
As a high schooler in the internet age I was aware of some politician stuff, but was thoroughly influenced to buy the narrative. I thought obama was cool and all if that. ~2013 I really start to question what I know. By the time trump announced his presidency I was able to have the veil lifted, so to speak, and see that he was my future and my hope. I took advantage of my personal oppurtinity and registered democrat first to vote for bernie. I legitimitely believe bernie vs trump would've had a more positive and constructive debates and later campaigns. Hillary is evil. But my state voted early, and by the time bernie sold out I was already done with him. MAGA I'm so lucky to be in this time

I've been eligible to vote since 2000, but never have. I'd like to say that it's because of some strong moral conviction or some well-reasoned ideological plane, but in reality it's just because I'm lazy and selfish.

2012 - Paul. We didn't deserve him.
2016 - Trump. Voted bernie in the primaries but after that clip of bernie getting pushed around by BLM whores i knew he was a mistake.

2008 - Bob Barr because I was a libertarian and didn't want a neocon or a nigger.
2012 - Romney because I didn't want Obama to take our guns.
2016 - Trump because he's a white man.

>2000

Gore

>2004

Bush

>2008

Obama

>2012

Ron Paul

>2016

Trump

Voted for the first time in 2016, Trump obviously.

I was sympathetic to Ron Paul in 08 and 12 though. I'm definitely voting in the midterms next year, we need to step on the gas as hard as we can for Trump. Too many enemies in Washington.

Why did you jump from small government Ron Paul to a dirty socialist jew that wants to make your life a bureaucratic mess?

Firstly, Australian voting is compulsory and preferential, this creates some strategy in designing your vote, usually designing it in such a way that it absolutely does not go to a socialist party.

2008
>Greens, because both mainstream parties are corrupt (right?), polypartisanship is more democratic than bipartisanship and this I just visited website totally told me Greens were below the mid point of libertarian (they're not)

2012
>Liberal protest vote, ultimately a labor voter, I moved to a greens/labor battleground electorate and I recognised the greens as socialist authoritarians by this stage

2016
>as above, although I voted 1 for an independent candidate who at least had some libertarian policies in his pamphlet, labor got in but it was almost greens. The greens candidate wanted to anti-gentrify specifically my area by building community housing for immigrants (yes, the greens candidate specifically said immigrants, not homeless, not young families, not new buyers, but immigrants) because it's the richest area in a lefty electorate.

I really hate Marxists. I'm going to keep voting like this:
1. Liberal democrats running for lower house yet? if not, are there any libertarian independent candidates?
2. The most currently libertarian out of liberal or labor, at the moment that's liberal but in 20 years it'll be labor
3. Greens. They're still a major party.
4. All the socialist meme parties and the "I just want Australia to be the first country to start rewriting catholic church regulations and fuck separation of church and state in the ass" party, oh that's just the sex party. Never mind.

2000 Gore

2020 Zuckerberg

2004 - Kerry
2008 - Ron Paul

2016- Trump because of the reasons already mentioned

2004 - Bush (he even promised wall)
2008 - McCain (fuck war, but fuck niggers more)
2012 - Fuck Mormons and Muslims
2016 - Trump (a bit disappointed so far on his fopo but he's good domestic)

'96 Harry Browne because downsize government and legalize drugs

'00 Bush because fuck Gore

'04 Bush because fuck Kerry

'08 Supported McCain but didn't bother to vote

'12 Johnson because it didn't matter

'16 Trump because MAGA and fuck Clinton.

>wrote in Bernie
Fucking kys disgusting commie leech subhuman.
>muh free shit hur durrrrr
>let duh retard trap music/xanax addicts have free college
>fuck veterans hur durrrr
I honestly have less disgust for Hillary voters.
At least Hillary is a crime lord and not some hobo faggot skrub.

2000 - Herman Cain
2012 - Herman Cain

who else is there to vote for

I voted for Trump because doing so was and still is hilarious. That and liberals have gotten increasingly shrill and obnoxious to the point where they're impossible to tolerate now. I was basically apolitical before this election and wasn't going to vote at all initially.

> 2008
McCain, because fuck obama

> 2012
Romney because fuck obama

> 2016
Rand Paul because he was the only Republican with a platform that doesn't suck.

>but duh i caint like to read all dis sheeeeeit nigga!?
>wuts even a bill nigga!!!?

2008 >Nader
2012 >Ron Paul
2016 >Blank vote aka protest vote

>2008 - Blank
>2012 - Blank
>2016 - Trump

A 2012 Herman Cain presidency would've actually been alright

This

Why is wanting to help poor people such a bad thing?

>2012
Voted for Obama because Mitt Romney is a neo-con cuck.
>2016
Voted for Trump because he was the only Candidate that didn't act or look like a fucking reptilian kike.

>2008 too young to vote. Hadn't heard of libertarians and was gullible enough to think Obama was anti-war though.
>2012 caucused and voted for Ron Paul, figured Romney would get nothing done and piss people off at GOP again.
>2016 caucused for Rand and voted for Trump. Admittedly I'm still not entirely convinced about Trump's ability to get results but it's been going surprisingly well. Plan to vote for him again in 2020.

>2012
Romney because Obama is a nigger.
>2016
Trump because MAGA

You think somebody that's a heartless bastard like me would get offended when you call me a heartless bastard? I take that as a compliment.

Voting is a scam and the president is selected by a hand full of underground reptilians so I don't vote.

But I voted for Trump because Hitlery Cunton said autistic people aren't fit for presidency and I wanted to prove her right.

I am an oldfag

1984: Walter Mondale, because my parents were democrats and I didn't really think about. Reagan beat him like a red-headed stepchild.

1988: Ron Paul, who was the nominee of the Libertarian party.

1992: Ross Perot and his giant sucking sound.

1996: don't remember, but probably the Libertarian party candidate.

2000: realized the futility of voting and didn't bother.

The Obama frenzy is 08 was surreal. They planned that shit for years

>2008
"Threw my vote away" and voted for Paul
>2012
Didn't vote. President nigger was shitbag and Romney was a tool
>2016
MAGA

fuck off hippie

I fell for the getting money out of politics and climate change meme

a wizard!

2008 - McCain because I was worried pulling troops out of the Middle East would turn it into Hezbollah territory that would wage a 2000 style jihad on Europe and America

2012 - Gary Johnson, protest vote and DUDE WEED LMAO

2016 - Gary Johnson, bernie burnout and DUDE WEED LMAO

Yup, sorry guys

2008 Nader because he wanted to legalize weed and I was pothead in my early twenties

2012 Obama because I thought Romney was fake and I got my news from the daily show.

2016 Trump because MAGA and fuck Hillary Clinton, Washington D.C., Liberals, Political Correctness, and the Anti white liberal agenda.

No youre a dumb nigger

08 - Huckabee, then Obama.
12 - Paul, then Obama.
16 - Trump, then Trump.

1976 - Libertarian Party (I was stupid back then, but at least I didn't vote for Carter)
1980 - Reagan
1984 - Reagan
1988 - HW
1992 - HW
1996 - Dole (He would've been a great President and he was funny as hell)
2000 - W
2004 - W
2008 - Palin
2012 - Romney
2016 - Trump

The worst Republican is still better than the best Democrat.

Haha good post

I don't believe that you voted for McCain and then Johnson twice. Especially in 2016 when you could have voted Trump and had your vote mean something

...

typical libertardian loser.

Bloc

In 2019 I dont care I vote whoever I need to vote for to get this fucking faggot trudeau out

2000 - didn't vote because I was too young

2004 - didn't vote because I was too young

2008 - didn't vote because I gave up on America and left the country

2012 - didn't vote because I renounced my citizenship

2016 - I'm glad that everyone else in America has also given up.

So are you on Sup Forums because it was on your son's browser history or what?

/thread

Voted for Trump because:
I like the cut of his jib.
No fucking way Hillary.
First time I've felt that someone not (((pre-approved))) could seriously be president since Perot.
An oddly vocal part of the Left has been Fuck You White Male for a while now and they really ramped it up at the DNC last year.

Bernie actually had the best proposals to help veterans out of any candidate.

why is everybody from japan on Sup Forums white?

>2004 to 2012
>Democrats because I was young, idealistic, and stupid

>2016
>Trump because I returned to my hometown after eight years to find the Democrats had turned it into a dumping grounds for Chicago's gang banging, drug dealing, welfare leeching niggers.

>Black Walnut Candidate

topkek

2000 - Nader

2004 - Nader

2008 - Ron Paul

2012 - Ron Paul

2016 - Trump

Jesus you're old

True.

Because everyone on Sup Forums is a weeb

2000 - Gore, just turned 18 and wanted to piss off my dad for yelling at the tv every night he saw him on it

2004 - Bush - joined the military after 9/11 and fucking hated Kerry even though I thought Bush was a stuttering idiot. Iraq war resentment hadn't reached super unpopular pitch yet

2008 - Hopey Changey man. Grew disillusioned politically after 18 months in Iraq watching friends get fucked in the head or worse. Seemed like a breath of fresh air. Thought McCain was about to die, Milfy McMilktits seemed to stupid to lead if that happened. Really didn't want another neocon in charge at the time.

2012 - Romney. Tired of Obamas bullshit. I had opened a small business when Obamacare really tarted to pick up, way too expensive for employees. Romney was a business man, liked his tax plan

2016 - I was a JEB! Guy! He was the smart one! Too low energy. I thought Trump was a buffoon, and still do, but if we were going to burn it all down we might as well enjoy the ride with an Alpha in charge. Half his cabinet picks suck but he hired the right people for the other half. Shitposting mad man, learned to love his lack of give a shit and spastic antics. Also, fuck Hillary and all the others.

2008 - Wasn't old enough to vote, but supported and would have voted for Obama because most of my political memories at the time were heavily involved with Bush. I believed the bullshit that Republicans = Evbil and Democrats = Guud.

2012 - Voted for Obama and half of the Democrats. I was disappointed with Obama's first term, but I believed he was holding himself back because he was making sure to not ruin his chances of getting a 2nd term. So I decided to take a chance and helped him get a 2nd term. Imagine how my world got destroyed with the NSA leaks and it got worse from there.

2016 - Didn't vote for anyone. Became a rule of thumb of mine at this point that anyone with a D or R next to their name wasn't to be trusted (stayed/proved true with Bernie and Trump post-election). I was planning on voting for Gary Johnson or Jill Stein for the election, but it became clear towards the end they were fucking idiots. So, fuck it, I didn't vote.

2016 sucked a lot of optimism and hope from me. For me, it exposed the blatant hypocritical tribalism equivalent to rooting for sports teams that the common American shares. Part of me feels (as George Carlin best put it) we deserve this kind of system and another part of me believes we need a sort of reawakening that focuses on a logical and unselfish pragmatic public mindset that will result in a possibly violent revolution of our government. Oh, it also made me lean more towards the right of the center and made me get more interested in Classical Liberalism and Paleolibertarianism.

because Japanese people can't speak English very well, and those who can work in western countries.

>helping poor people
>(((helping lazy leeches at expense of hardworking productive members of society)))

You are an absolute fucking idiot if you don't think Bush was a terrible president.

yeah I liked Bernie until he got cucked by BLM

Wow, feels bad. Thank god my state's still 97% white

perfect

>Tell us why you REALLY voted that way
>Gives no reasoning

Why did I expect anything else from a bernout?

Me.

Trump- because he made me laugh harder than almost anybody else ever and didn't give a shit about PC, which is really what we need right now

>2016 - Wrote in Bernie
Regardless of what you think of him, voting for someone that isn't running is an actual waste of your vote. If you really couldn't stomach voting for Clinton then why not vote Stein? I don't like either of them but it's better than throwing away your vote like that.

You're the worst in this bunch

Because they're english teachers weebs who immigrated to molest high school girls.

1912 - Taft, unironically ourguy, quite based and would lower taxes and let america out of foreign entaglements, unlike (((roosevelt))) and (((woodrow wilson)))

1916 - Hughes, to keep us out of Mexico since I didn't want any mexican refugees in my state, and supporting the red fucks was anti-american

1920 - Went camping instead

1924 - Calvin Coolidge, our last good president

1928 - Neither, both scum

1932 - Too busy looking for work to vote

1936/1940/1944 - Didn't bother voting since FDR was gonna win anyway

1948 - Truman, figured a military man might be better than the usual shit

1952 - Eisenhower, same reason

1956 - Stayed home

1960 - Kennedy because Nixon looked like a crook

1964 - Goldwater because I wanted to nuke the USSR

1968 - Nixon because I was too tired of the fucking hippies

1972 - Nixon because McGovern was a fucking lunatic sjw cuck before this was even cool

1976 - None, both scum

1980 - Reagan cause ourguy and Carter = shit

1984 - Reagan again

1988 - Bush to continue Reagan's legacy (oh boy was I wrong)

1992 - Perot to stick it to the elites

1996 - Perot again, fuck Clinton and Dole

2000 - Buchanan, ourguy and would have fixed this country before it got to the current situation

2004 - Went fishing

2008 - McCain because even tho he was shit all that hope and change BS sounded like propaganda cult-tier bs

2012 - Romney because even tho shit fuck Obama, absolute crap

2016 - Trump, ourguy in a long time, but he sold his soul to the globalists it seems

>hates niggers, women, poor people, rich people, dumb people, and all foreigners
well at least we know you're moving steadily towards gobbling dicks for the rest of your life.

2004-Nader

2008-Obama

2012-Johnson

2016-Clinton(begrudgingly)

>60 years old
>posts on Sup Forums
what the fuck

2008 - Ralph Nader - My family are leftist, environmentalist conspiratards (think Alex Jones if he was a socialist). So Nader was a natural.

2012 - Gary Johnson - I had fully broken with the leftism and was an Ancap

2016 - Donald J. Trump - Read Evola, faggots

please post proof that you are actually this old

Whatever dumbass if you voted Hillary than you really threw your vote away because she was retarded enough to lose even with the popular vote.

I'll never forget the mass email I got from Jeb!s account, and it was from his dad asking me to give money to Jeb! LOL what a fucking cuckold

I liked him until he cucked for shillary and showed his hypocrisy buying those extra houses

2006: Stephen Harper
2008: Stephen Harper
2011: Stephen Harper
2015: Didn't vote. Everyone sucked.

I've only voted in two elections because I wasn't old enough to vote in '08.

2012: Voted Romney because I thought (correctly) that Obama was fucking up and letting us slip as the world hegemon of power.

2016: Voted Trump (was a Sanders support) and wanted to vote in such a way that I'd fuck up as much shit as possible.

I'm basically a political anarchist at this point. Let me have my guns and weed and quit making me pay so much in tax.

Honestly?
I had a spiritual experience telling me that I needed to vote for him. It's hard to describe and it would happen when I was thinking about who I thought should be the republican candidate. It continued to happen until I had made my decision and put all of my support behind him. Haven't had the feeling since. It felt really good.

Dude, the more Boomers on Sup Forums the less likely (((they))) will be able to shut it down.

Stephen Harper ran in 2015...

2004 - Bush, Kill all Muslims
2008 - No vote, blood lust wore off, did not care about this globalist shit
2012 - No vote, did not care about this globalist shit
2016 - BUILD WALL NOW

Yeah lets believe a cuck preach about how he wants to help veterans, who cant even defend his stage from 2 retarded black cunts.
>cutting out veterans in order to reward literal plebs/wastes of food
>implying he is more pro-vet than Trump
Bernie was a literal hobofuck until he was 40.
Trump graduated military academy, but then went on to become super billionaire, as was his calling.
A real vet would never hold that against him.

fuck the boomers, they got us into this mess.

>(((boomers)))

Why are you acting like voting for Gore was a bad thing? He may have been an environmentalist cuck, but you have to try pretty hard to fuck up more than Dubya did.

Fucking Americucks take your fake left/right politics off this board. Fuck off, go back to pleddit.

...

Sauce?

Mostly agree...Hindsight being 20/20, Buchanan would have saved America. I disagree because Trump can not be judges yet. If you read behind the lines, some of the shit he is doing is more conservative than Reagan. And Reagan is my god emperor.

>threw your vote away

Probably the most insidious and ingenious propaganda phrase of all time. Oh, how I'd love to to stab the fucker who created it until the knife broke off and then pummel his skull in until the hilt shattered to pieces. Fucking infuriated me so much in the 2016 election: it was an excuse for people to dismiss different-thinking people and not listen to any opposing arguments.

>muh drone strikes
kys babu

Alex Jones I'd wager.

A few months shy of sixty. And I have a hard time believing it myself. Wisdom of your elders: Growing old in mandatory; Growing up is optional.

I come here for the lulz and to shitpost. Plus I have to make up for all that time I kept my racism to myself.

>Finally redpilled, I voted for McCain
lol good one
