Hitler wanted to resurrect the spirit of Europe, and as Evola had observed, the only way to do so was through the resurrection of European spirituality. All Nazi rallies, emblems and architecture was ridden with pagan symbolism and tradition. Hitler had implemented "positive Christianity" as a way of engineering Christian faith away from universalist egalitarian principles towards blood and soil nationalism (much to the objection of the Catholic church).

He wasnt either actually. Its not sure what he was. Agnostic or deist likely. He was extremely critical of Christianity (as are all true fascists) and he said that Paganism wouldnt be possible or desirable to reinstate in modern Germany.
