these types of buildings look good in america, though i prefer the more art deco ones like empire state building. there are lots of them amassed together which gives cities a sense of continuity and they give it that typical modern city feel that matches with americas culture and heritage.
but to try and replicate that in Europe which is full of beautiful architecture and rich in history and heritage is just criminal. they fail at creating that new york city vibe and they just end up ruining cityscapes because they clash so badly with the old architecture

well i think it works for a city like new york city. i really like that typical look you see in classic movies godfather etc. that industrial look but with lots of character and nice tall buildings all huddled together. that architecture wasnt lazy there was thought put behind the design
