This thread is for all pious Christians on this board and around the world; and also for anyone with an interest in, or questions about Christianity!
ITT: We discuss our faith with others, and enjoy the fellowship of our brethren in Christ.
Today lets remember Saint Herman of Alaska The Wonderworker. Here is a breif and non-comprehensive rundown of this amazing man who helped to bring Christianity to the "New World"
>Humble Russian villager >Comes to modern day Alaska with a bunch of fur-traders >Faces constant death-defying odds >Hunts for seals to eat in near suicidal conditions >Works the ground with WOODEN implements to grow food >Helps many Russian settlers to find god (Which they especially needed, alcoholism was rampant and many of them had taken on native Alaskan mistresses) >Met with the locals/natives, often protected them from the ruthlessness of the Russians >Converted ~7,000 Natives to Orthodox Christianity >Disease breaks out killing scores of natives >Herman, in his faith, is the only Russian to visit with the natives in this time >Comforts the dying and consoles the living, helps to heal and care for the sick
>Eventually becomes a hermit on a remote island
>Passes away years later, is now remembered every Sunday at many/most Orthodox Churches in the US
I don't really care about this. I just have to come clean about this... I just fell in love with Muslim T*rks... I just can't help it. I need their brown penises down my throat. It's not about white or brown... it's about pleasure. I fell for they big oily & juicy BTC.
I love Islam, because I'm a christian and I must open my cheeks.

Also, the various Fedoras and Pagens on this board are of course welcome. I'm personally not interested in arguing with them (I spent ~10 years as an Atheist before finding my Christian faith), but in these threads we often have Christian Anons who will be happy to debate them and answer their various questions.
Personally, I will pray for them. I remember my time living in their shoes, and as content as I seem to remember being then, I'm happier than I've ever been now, I have a meaningful relationship with our creator, a wonderful church family, and a calm/peace that I've never had before. I hope that they, one day, will find it as I did.

"I believe, O Lord, and I confess that Thou art truly the Christ the son of the living God who camest into the world to save sinners, of whom I am first. Therefore I pray thee, have mercy upon me and forgive my transgressions both voluntary and involuntary, of word and of deed, committed in knowledge or in ignorance. And make me worthy to partake with out comdemnation of thy most pure mysteries, for the remission of my sins, and to life everlasting. O Son of God, accept me as a communicant, for I will not speak of thy mystery to thine enemies, neither like Judas will I give thee a kiss; but like the thief will I confess thee. Remember me, O Lord, in thy Kingdom. Amen. My friends, this is of Saint John Chrysostom. Normally this is a prayer used in Holy Communion services (see pic related), but if minorly abbreviated (like above), it helps to remind me personally of my commitment to the LORD, to try and do well by others, to have a living relationship with him and attempt to be a less imperfect Christian as time goes by.

For those lurking, here's a link to a free online bible PDF for you to read if you're interested. I personally recommend starting in the book of Matthew (first book of the new testament)
Alternatively if you would like a hard copy, I've been quite pleased with this one thats cheap (~$9!) on Amazon. Its the NIV bible edition, so its written in modern english - unlike the KJV which is like reading shakespere. I feel that the KJV is best for in depth study, but the NIV is MUCH easier to comprehend if you're reading it for the first time:
