This thread is for all pious Christians on this board and around the world; and also for anyone with an interest in, or questions about Christianity!
ITT: We discuss our faith with others, and enjoy the fellowship of our brethren in Christ.
Today lets remember Saint Herman of Alaska The Wonderworker. Here is a breif and non-comprehensive rundown of this amazing man who helped to bring Christianity to the "New World"
>Humble Russian villager >Comes to modern day Alaska with a bunch of fur-traders >Faces constant death-defying odds >Hunts for seals to eat in near suicidal conditions >Works the ground with WOODEN implements to grow food >Helps many Russian settlers to find god (Which they especially needed, alcoholism was rampant and many of them had taken on native Alaskan mistresses) >Met with the locals/natives, often protected them from the ruthlessness of the Russians >Converted ~7,000 Natives to Orthodox Christianity >Disease breaks out killing scores of natives >Herman, in his faith, is the only Russian to visit with the natives in this time >Comforts the dying and consoles the living, helps to heal and care for the sick
>Eventually becomes a hermit on a remote island
>Passes away years later, is now remembered every Sunday at many/most Orthodox Churches in the US
I don't really care about this. I just have to come clean about this... I just fell in love with Muslim T*rks... I just can't help it. I need their brown penises down my throat. It's not about white or brown... it's about pleasure. I fell for they big oily & juicy BTC.
I love Islam, because I'm a christian and I must open my cheeks.

Also, the various Fedoras and Pagens on this board are of course welcome. I'm personally not interested in arguing with them (I spent ~10 years as an Atheist before finding my Christian faith), but in these threads we often have Christian Anons who will be happy to debate them and answer their various questions.
Personally, I will pray for them. I remember my time living in their shoes, and as content as I seem to remember being then, I'm happier than I've ever been now, I have a meaningful relationship with our creator, a wonderful church family, and a calm/peace that I've never had before. I hope that they, one day, will find it as I did.

well historically speaking, thats remarkable french of you. Rejoice! I've heard that many african and middle asian brown and black cocks are at this moment coming your way but you faggot must wait they're gonna prefer your daughters and sisters first - and you must respect that, you know, cultural differences

"I believe, O Lord, and I confess that Thou art truly the Christ the son of the living God who camest into the world to save sinners, of whom I am first. Therefore I pray thee, have mercy upon me and forgive my transgressions both voluntary and involuntary, of word and of deed, committed in knowledge or in ignorance. And make me worthy to partake with out comdemnation of thy most pure mysteries, for the remission of my sins, and to life everlasting. O Son of God, accept me as a communicant, for I will not speak of thy mystery to thine enemies, neither like Judas will I give thee a kiss; but like the thief will I confess thee. Remember me, O Lord, in thy Kingdom. Amen. My friends, this is of Saint John Chrysostom. Normally this is a prayer used in Holy Communion services (see pic related), but if minorly abbreviated (like above), it helps to remind me personally of my commitment to the LORD, to try and do well by others, to have a living relationship with him and attempt to be a less imperfect Christian as time goes by.

For those lurking, here's a link to a free online bible PDF for you to read if you're interested. I personally recommend starting in the book of Matthew (first book of the new testament)
Alternatively if you would like a hard copy, I've been quite pleased with this one thats cheap (~$9!) on Amazon. Its the NIV bible edition, so its written in modern english - unlike the KJV which is like reading shakespere. I feel that the KJV is best for in depth study, but the NIV is MUCH easier to comprehend if you're reading it for the first time:
I am a woman looking for a spouse but no Christian men. What do I do?

Anyone know whats behind the rise of paganism on this board? I think we still have more Christianons than ever before...

>I personally recommend starting in the book of Matthew (first book of the new testament)
so what do you do? read the new testament then double back to the old?
can you skip the old?
Wyatt Harris
>Anyone know whats behind the rise of paganism on this board?
except summer larping? Not much because there is no such a thing.
Jackson Roberts
They're the hard-headed anti-Christian fedoras from the Dawkins days who took "le red pill xDD" during gamergate and LARP as vikings to compensate

>I am a woman looking for a spouse but no Christian men. What do I do?
I'll marry u luv

Raids from an anti-Christian board on a certain other chan. Basically some fags who hate Christianity realized they could use paganism as a shield, so that when we retaliate it would seem like we're against White heritage. Many of them aren't even neopagans and just hopped on the bandwagon

Is any kind of sexual interaction prior to marriage lawfully allowed? What counts as actual 'losing virginity' sex?
Where is the line drawn? Where orgasms become a part of it?
Evan Howard
Why did Jesus call us, Gentiles "dogs", when the Canaanite woman asked for His help? “It is not right to take the children’s bread and toss it to the dogs” (Matthew 15:26)
Lucas Gonzalez
Honestly I wouldnt recommend "skipping" any of it... But for the modern Christian, the New Testament is, from my understand, the best to read. I havent made it back to the old testamant yet, unfortunately...
Asher King
dogs was a common insult for pagans at the time it's also used in the sermon on the mount

But we supposed to be equal in Christ, aren't we?

These are good theories. I agree with whoever said a few days ago that the thought of pol becoming a completely Christian board terrrifies (((them))), because many here still dont realize how powerful we truly are!
Can any of my brethren here suggest any worthwhile Christian music? Movies perhaps? Both seem to be lacking genres just from what little I've seen. Its unfortunate, really.
Matthew 28 19-20. This is a verse thats stuck with me... The lord will never abandon us, no matter what happens on this earth:
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Start in the New Testament, my friend! Thats what I did. Honestly I read the bible out of curiousity more than anything, and I converted almost immediately. To be honest, something like 2/3 of it is the Old Testament...

>that video Made me really think.
What if Christianity is literally main and true religion of humans and every nation can adopt it into their culture just like europeans did. Like every culture can interpret Christianity.
I think Islam and their prophet is THE false prophet(Anti-christ) and his religion is Satanism and main antagonist of Christians.
>What if Christianity is literally main and true religion of humans and every nation can adopt it into their culture just like europeans did. >Like every culture can interpret Christianity.
That's pretty much how it's supposed to be. Cardinal Newman puts it really well I think..
>"The phenomenon, admitted on all hands, is this:—That great portion of what is generally received as Christian truth is, in its rudiments or in its separate parts, to be found in heathen philosophies and religions. For instance, the doctrine of a Trinity is found both in the East and in the West; so is the ceremony of washing; so is the rite of sacrifice. The doctrine of the Divine Word is Platonic; the doctrine of the Incarnation is Indian; of a divine kingdom is Judaic; of Angels and demons is Magian; the connexion of sin with the body is Gnostic; celibacy is known to Bonze and Talapoin; a sacerdotal order is Egyptian; the idea of a new birth is Chinese and Eleusinian; belief in sacramental virtue is Pythagorean; and honours to the dead are a polytheism. Such is the general nature of the fact before us; Mr. Milman argues from it,—'These things are in heathenism, therefore they are not Christian:' we, on the contrary, prefer to say, 'these things are in Christianity, therefore they are not heathen.' That is, we prefer to say, and we think that Scripture bears us out in saying, that from the beginning the Moral Governor of the world has scattered the seeds of truth far and wide over its extent; that these have variously taken root, and grown as in the wilderness, wild plants indeed but living; and hence that, as the inferior animals have tokens of an immaterial {381} principle in them, yet have not souls, so the philosophies and religions of men have their life in certain true ideas, though they are not directly divine.

>What man is amid the brute creation, such is the Church among the schools of the world; and as Adam gave names to the animals about him, so has the Church from the first looked round upon the earth, noting and visiting the doctrines she found there. She began in Chaldea, and then sojourned among the Canannites, and went down into Egypt, and thence passed into Arabia, till she rested in her own land. Next she encountered the merchants of Tyre, and the wisdom of the East country, and the luxury of Sheba. Then she was carried away to Babylon, and wandered to the schools of Greece. And wherever she went, in trouble or in triumph, still she was a living spirit, the mind and voice of the Most High; 'sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them and asking them questions;' claiming to herself what they said rightly, correcting their errors, supplying their defects, completing their beginnings, expanding their surmises, and thus gradually by means of them enlarging the range and refining the sense of her own teaching. So far then from her creed being of doubtful credit because it resembles foreign theologies, we even hold that one special way in which Providence has imparted divine knowledge to us has been by enabling her to draw and collect it together out of the world, and, in this sense, as in others, to 'suck the milk of the Gentiles and to suck the breast of kings.'

I am really attracted to the practices of Catholicism. But I don't believe in God, let alone Christianity. I would really like to but I just don't, and if I fake it and convert anyway I would just be living a lie, which is not something I will do. What are the best works that could convince me of the truth of Christianity? Besides the Bible itself which I've read multiple times.
Aiden Ortiz
I really liked "Beginning To Pray", its a short paperback book available on Amazon. My priest says that its in his 10 favorite books, ever.
I'll pray for you my friend.

Atheist? Repent and convert before is too late.
You have a long way to go, do not be discouraged. Start with the basic: St. Thomas Aquinas Summa theologica.
Cameron Cox
It doesnt get much better than the bible itself! Many revere the KJV as the best for study, but the NIV is quite a bit easier to read, regularly (KJV reads like shakespere).
Aside from that, theres writing on the history of whatever denomination you are, if any. Are you a member of one?
He knows, we dont need to be hard on him. We need to be welcoming and help him...

But He told the Canaanite woman that “It is not right to take the children’s bread and toss it to the dogs” (Matthew 15:26), meaning that the Jews (children) should recieve His teachings (bread) before the Gentiles (us, the dogs) do.

It was never stated that we should not recieve His teachings, but that we should recieve it after the Jews. Are the Jews really more important to God, than we, Gentiles are?

Since Jews existed before Christians, and he himself was Jewish and so were most of his disciples, of course they'd hear it first just because of the geography.

I always took that verse to be about faith, at first the woman didn't truly believe in Jesus she was just desperate to heal her daughter so he rejected her and she still persisted and at some point truly started to believe in Jesus which is why Jesus healed her daughter,
>Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, GREAT IS THY FAITH: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.
Asher Lee

I have the same questions
The Bible doesn't give any concrete rules The churches say that premarital sex is forbidden
But what about a handjob for example?
Zachary Garcia
But the woman was not a Jew, and she believed in Him, yet Jesus still didn't want to help first.

Think about the bible and how it is formatted, it is split into two parts, The Old Testament (The law) and the New Testament (The Gospel),
The Law is about the Jewish people so basically only the Jews would have read it at that point so only the Jews would know about the coming Messiah it would make no sense for Jesus to teach the gentiles about the law as he had things to do
The gospel is about Jesus, his life, his death and his Resurrection, and this is what Jesus told his disciples to teach the world
>And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.
Jesus came to the Jews first because they were the only ones who would understand The Law which was about him, he couldn't teach the gentiles the gospels because all of what happened in the gospels had not happened yet( his death and Resurrection)
Gabriel Turner
Then the woman replied “Yes, Lord; but really the little dogs do eat of the crumbs falling from the table of their masters.”, meaning that she (little dog) believed in Him, and in His teachings (crumbs), just like the Jews (their masters) did.
Josiah Clark
Hello, my fellow Christians. What did you do this Sabbath?

But why only after that? Why couldn't He help her for the first time, just like how He helped the Jews when they asked Him?

Jesus was the Jewish Messiah promised to Israel in the OT and he did come for Israel. When they rejected him, the Gentiles were given the opportunity to be grafted in.
This was done to make the Israel jealous in hopes that they would also see the truth that Jesus was the Messiah (Romans 11). After the time of the Gentiles is filled to completion, the remnant of Israel (not all professing "Jews") will turn back to God during the final 7 years (Daniel's 70th week).

Jesus did come for everyone but he came to Israel,
>And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for those of the whole world.
1 John 2:2,
Chase Robinson
He only came for Israel because of God's promises in the OT. What covenant did God make with the Gentiles in the OT that promised them a King and salvation from their sins?
Once Jesus was rejected, that is when the offer of salvation was made to the world, not just Israel. If you believe on him, his death burial and resurrection, it doesn't matter if you are a Jew or Gentile, you are saved.
I'm not exactly sure how you aren't understanding this, I've seen you asking the same questions in multiple threads, receiving answers, and repeating the same questions.
He did ultimately come for everyone. You are focusing in on his brief 3 year ministry on Earth and are ignoring everything else.

What are you meant to do if you're a christian and gay? You don't chose to be aroused by men, only to act on it So are you forced to live a life of celibacy, dying alone while all your friends drift away after getting married and having families?
