Italy is pressuring the EU for other countries to take the "refugees" collected by the NGOs...I get that their rational is that they need rescuing from drowning, which is fair enough. But why can't they return them to Libya? This would still be rescuing them and they wouldn't become long-term dependants, it would be a win win situation.
