Everybody knows that in terms of debating skill, Cenk Uygur hasn't got a prayer on Ben Shapiro. Uygur might be a self-absorbed prick, but he is aware of that fact. So it's probably some kind of ambush. They probably got dirt on Shapiro or something else. Bottom line is, Cenk would have never agreed to this debate, EVER, unless he had some underhande trick up his sleeve.

The problem with Ben and Trump, for me, is that he was pretty insistent that Trump had no chance of winning even up to election night, and he preferred every other red candidate more, it seems.
In my view, no other Republican would have been capable of winning the election. They all would have crashed against Clinton even worse than they did against Trump, it was his element of being so outlandish and being a political outsider that gave him the odds in the first place.
Add that in to the fact that we'd already had eight years of Democratic leadership, that the Dem candidate was unmitigated cancer despite her connections, and he had an immense advantage. Ben just couldn't see it though.
