The problem is that leftist belief requires all sorts of counterintuitive falsehoods. You have to believe up is down, left is right, and backwards is forwards. You need to explain every little thing in order to make sure people "get it". Whereas with our memes, the joke/message is obvious and self-evident, because our message is fundamentally true.
