We just need to appear to help those suffering under socialism, not actually do much. Read up on the history of US immigration policy towards Cubans versus Haitians, you'll see what I mean. We were (and are) way more generous towards Cubans, in some cases giving more welfare to those who just got off the boat than native Floridians, than we were to Haitians. Clinton lied about wanting to help them (he criticized Bush's plan for them, and then did the exact same thing; he did the same to the Laotians and Cambodians even though we bombed them worse than WWII)...hypocrisy is fine when nobody notices or cares.

You don't understand economics. An entity can only advance economically at the expense of another entity. Mexico isn't in a vacuum, wealth is relational. One or more economies go up, one or more will go down. They should eat their own agricultural products and work on their own infrastructure instead of coming here. Their people are betraying their country and leeching off US success instead of succeeding for themselves in their own country
