Sup Forums is his scripture

Why is Bin Laden portrayed as xrist?

Orthodoxy or death

>or death

You are the same kind of religious ignoramus who would put Jesus back on the cross if He came today

Orthodoxy is a wicked unbiblical doctrine.

I try to keep it casual.

Christ preached charity but not socialism ffs. when a man came to him and asked Jesus to make his brother split his inheritance with him, Jesus refused.

He called for a capitalistic society where charity is a respected and common virtue, not one where the government steals from the rich to give to the poor. Socialism is not charity, it's theft.

nope. you re wrong
nope. you re wrong

I'm sorry to not elaborate more but the crux in all arrogance, is however this .

You can not biblically justify all the wicked teachings of orthodoxy. Baby baptizing, wearing long clothes, literally worshiping ("venerating") dead people, superstition, work based salvation, etc. Just face it that you're acting in accordance with MAN'S WORD, not GOD'S WORD. Read your Bible.

yeah I'm not pro-socialism but I also don't embrace the kind of laissez-faire that just lets exploitation and corrupt monopolies flourish.

If anything, I think Jesus would preach a healthy indifference to worldly economies. Both pro-capitalist and pro-socialist thinking are both conceding the power of Mammon. Caesar made the coins and God made life, so render unto Caesar what's his and just live your life.

Christians = not concerned with material possessions
Liberals = obsessed with material possessions

nah, if YOU READ the bible you would know that baptizing which is iz comes from /baptizein/ to immerse in water , just the first one was the easiest . So I don.t listen to LARPers. like you .

I will agree to help the poor if Liberals can agree to hang and stone gays

lol, of course it means immersion. now tell me why on earth you're baptizing babies. the bible is clear as crystal that baptism is for professed believers in christ. dumb heretic.

to seal them with the holy spirit, next !

The story of Jesus as recorded in the gospels is about what happens when the Spirit of God appears on Earth, and is resisted by the worldly powers of organized religion and the state. Anytime the message of Christ becomes co-opted by religious doctrine or state power, it has already abandoned its roots, since at its core the Jesus story is about how those very powers will stop at nothing to subvert and destroy the Christ. Though of course they can never succeed - to those with eyes to see and ears to hear, the King remains enthroned.

Christ shows us that self-giving sacrificial love is the true power in the universe, not the top-down tyrannical brute strength of Caesar. Christ's earliest followers proclaimed "Jesus is Lord!", rather than "Caesar is Lord!" which regions conquered by the empire were required to say. The implied subversive question - who is making a better Kingdom? Caesar who puts people on crosses, or Christ who bears the cross in love for all? Caesar who dominates and kills all who oppose with brute strength, or God who raised Christ from the dead?

Why is self-giving sacrifice the ultimate power? Picture water. In some senses, the most submissive substance imaginable. It will flow through your fingers, fit any container you put it in. Yet nothing can compete with it for domination of the planet - it covers 70% of Earth's surface. It uses its power not to dominate like a tyrant, but to quietly nourish each and every thing that lives. This is built into Creation as a prefiguration of Christ. The blood of Christ is spiritual water, and those who drink of it will never thirst again.

>to seal them with the holy spirit, next !
Where's that in the Bible, lol?

How about your read you Bible and follow God's word? ONLY BELIEVERS IN CHRIST SHALL BE BAPTIZED. Baptism does not wash away sin, it is a figurative act in obedience to the Father. That's why Jesus was baptized. Jesus was without sin, so why would he be baptized?

>REPENT and be baptized
Acts 2:38

yeah, die in flames heathen cuckoo

I guess that goes for your babies that will never see a real baptism because they've been deceived by orthodox devils:

>"See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?"

>"IF THOU BELIEVST WITH ALL THINE HEART," THOU MAYEST. And he answered and said, "I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God."

Acts 8:36-37

See how I'm quoting Bible verses while you're insulting people?

Make your decisions folks.
