Tfw we're only a decade or less away from the next Fourth Turning

>Tfw we're only a decade or less away from the next Fourth Turning

For those who don't know the Fourth Turning is a catastrophic event that occurs once every 70-80 years in America that permanently changes its societal structure and future outlook
Below are the list of past Fourth Turnings

American Revolution (1776-1783)
America becomes independent from the British after rebelling against their armies
>78 years later
American Civil War (1861-1863)
America abolishes slavery after engaging in a bloodiest war its ever been through
>78 years later
WW2 (1941-1945)
America enters the second World War and then becomes a superpower country
>78 years later
(2023-XXXX)

Can't a turning be anything, though? Why did you pick those 3 things.

autism

I don't mean that as an insult by the way I mean it literally

>yfw you realize that's just some stupid shit a literal nazi came up with

2023: Meme War III

Its a specific event that is fought by the fourth generation that was born after the previous Fourth Turning
The events I listed are hold more significance than lets say the Iraq or Vietnam War

Pic related

You say that but why should I trust your definition of important

Because the events I listed were in the middle of an era of destruction that was later fixed due to prosperity being established by the previous generation

WW2 for example came during a Depression in America and ended with the country becoming a superpower and economically well off.
The American Revolution later helped establish the era of good feeling while the Civil War established the Gilded Age

Given our current situation with horrible economic growth and mass violence due to political division its not impossible to think that this is building up to something

The US definitively seems to be on the brink of something.
There might a new significant change in the world order. There was the petro-dollar the 70s, the fall of the USSR in in 91 and the current extreme push for globalism, which just hit a large push back.
There's also a lot of domestic problems. The cultural division between liberals and conservatives has become extreme. The birth rates are way too low (inflated by immigration, but that has its limits). 1/4 men in their prime working age are unemployed. Millennials are not getting married, for many reasons. A lot of the fixes would be in direct conflict with feminist doctrines (and the large financial interests behind it). More and more people want socialism (but the elite would not allow it at the same time as allowing the people to maintain their sovereignty, capitalism and free market would remain at a global scale (and it would enslave the world)).
Big changes *have* to happen. Or the US, as a nation. dies.
Europe seems to have chosen multiculturalism (and Islam in particular) as a fix.
Canada too.

The biggest issue I see is the pension crises that is starting to grip cities and states.

Illinois has over 200 billion dollars of unpaid government pensions and was on the brink of junk status if it weren't for the fact that they raised taxes again, which will only drive more people out of the state
Pensions and social security cannot be sustained if the Boomers all retire while the job market shrinks and people become more dependent on entitlements. I don't know how they're gonna tackle this in the next decade but they'll definitely be some devastating consequences from constantly kicking the can down the road

Trump will fix it?

Third world War

Also you missed 9/11 thanks to the kikes and the globalist cabal there will have actually been two fourth turnings in the same time frame this time around.

Whilst it was a total inside job the after effects of 9/11 were massive and have directly led to the current setting. It would take way to long to explain the entire thing so as a small example just consider the patriot act and the many "anti terror" laws that stemmed from it around the world. The global censor and wiretapping networks were a direct result of this.

Well don't be sad about it then.

If you truly think this, and if it will actually happen, then just go with it. Maybe it came early? 9/11 seemed to be a turning point with things. Mass surveillance, religion being criticized, a war we have been fighting for a decade. Be a part of it, or don't.

Just don't be sad about it.

>American Civil War (1861-1863)
>1861-1863
We wrapped that one up quick, did we?

2023 American civil war part 2 as angry whites are divided and conquered and Balkanize over race as Russia becomes the new USA superpower of the world and India and China continue their slow ascent to top 5 status

Had 9/11 been the Fourth Turning than we would be living prosperity by now

The Fourth Turning is a major crises fought by a generation that will eventually lead to a brighter future after years of disparity.
9/11 and the Recession did bring America into bottomless pit for sometime. Looking forward with Trump, anything is possible

Trump is the Fourth Turning. He is the chaos.

>no ww1
That's when everything changed though desu. We didn't have a standing army before that and we weren't really imperial. Plus after that is when the seeds of the welfare state were sown.

Honestly ww1 was the death of the west no matter what country you were in.

fuck u fag

The welfare state didn't come about until FDR who also built up the military industrial complex when the U.S became reliant on military production during WW2
The Boomers who were born after the war pretty much led us to this current chaos

i'm already calling it, white ethnostate in rural nevada

Nah the welfare state started with Teddy and his retardation.
