i think we might have the fastest declining population. but it's not true that all the young people have left. i did for a few years to study, and so did several other of the people in my uni class, but we've return and want to stay here

there's more than one "tax", as in other countries, and they vary in size

even if you're a neet you're still paying a Value Added Tax, which for bulgaria is p high, i think around 20% of the products cost

there are diff taxes for some things, for example taxes on bread, books, medicine and tourism are lower

btw, as far as i know, multinational corporations don't pay some taxes for the 1st several years they're in bulgaria. so we have some corporations like superparkets move in for a few years, and then sell to another chain
