"American Progressives are the spiritual children of the Puritans and Public Protestantism. Their primary motivation is communal salvation. To that end, their focus is on rooting out sin and naming the sinner."

>lifetime benefit limit
Can someone explain this bullshit meme leftists spout to me?

Completely missed the point you stupid American.

No, you did, you marxist fuck.

>expensive industry and treatment is owed me for simply being shit out of a vagina

Is every American unintelligent?

>Ad hominem
>Not an argument

Really activated my almonds, Achmed.

> wanting to give babyboomers healthcare

Oh God, not an ad-hominem fallacy! How dare I!

Feel free to downvote my post.

The US medical system is completely fucked up but forcing it upon the tax payer will only make it worse.
They are able to charge such outlandish prices due to their guaranteed payment.
Insurance must pay out for what they say they will cover.
So what difference is it to charge them $50000 vs $500?
Single payer will make it 100x worse since now its the US government backing the payments.

Its like how house prices have jumped due to the "idea" that you need a mortgage.

If getting a mortgage was super difficult, charging huge prices on property would be idiotic since you would never sell it.

...

Liberal humor

We're just different as regards motivations. Your left/liberals are much more focused on material egalitarianism, for example, while that aim has no, or little, cultural base here in the US

That first panel is literally happening in the UK right now

>society as a whole must bend over backwards, potentially crippling itself with financial obligations to accomodate people with the funds to take care of themselves.
>even though its not anyones fault that some people are just born with a shitty hand. Just fork over billions in tax dollars.

It sounds heartless at first, but its even more fucked up trying to force us to pay for people who will never be able to contribute back anything close to the cost it took to keep them alive. The whole tribe dies attempting to feed all the invalids. At some point they need to go.

At least our government isn't making the choice to pull the plug despite the parents getting the ability to keep their kid alive elsewhere.

Have you not seen the disgusting excess of useless junk that people are buying? You can afford to give dying people healthcare m8

>>everyone who works harder than me or has more than I do owes me their wealth, power and support; if my life isnt what i want it to be, it's their fault
t h i s

One fucking session of dialysis is 80k.

NO. WE. CAN'T.

>The average cost of dialysis is £30,800 per patient per year.
Hmm.

That's not for you to decide though.

Thats their choice to buy things. But nobody asks or puts me on a committee to see if I think its worth it to drop 2 millions to keep a newborn baby with a dozen congenital defects alive, when they're likely to die within a year. But they're still using my tax dollars.

The government shouldnt decide who gets healthcare. People have unreasonable demands they're trying to enforce on something they have virtually no control over in the first place. Its like saying people have a right to always be in the shade, and demanding the government put up awnings over every part of the planet so nobody sees the sun.

>((international study))

>someone actually took the time to make this

embarrassing

>nigger wearing prison colors
what did the rat mean by this?

>useless junk
I don't buy anything from England.

You like to go on about how european nations have their national health care but its costing you in many other ways.
You have horrendous taxes and a wimpy military and are entirely dependent on the US (With its big military and lack of national health care) coming to help if the "ruskies" get uppity.

Why do you think everyone who isnt an American absolutely terrified of Trumps "America first" policy? You cant expect America to save you now and you also shouldn't expect your NHS to last either

>The government shouldnt decide who gets healthcare
Yes it should. That is how you enforce humanitarian values, rather than leaving things to the cruelty of the market

obamacare give welfare leeches and bottom dwellers "cheap" healthcare at the cost of fucking over anyone that holds a legitimate job to support themselves.

>>The government shouldnt decide who gets healthcare
>Yes it should.
Thank God we left you assholes.

Taxes are progressive. The overall system is less expensive and funded more fairly between people.

Government healthcare systems are also much more stable than charity (if that is how you propose to help the poor)

And those same leeches and bottom dwellers have impossible deductibles as well. Absolutely no one benefits in the long term. There are many reasons King Nigger should hang, and this is one them.

>enforce humanitarian values on the laws of nature.

Its sad when babies and anyone gets cancer. But to say we as a society have an obligation to do everything we can to save every life is nonsense. Human life is valuable, but its not so valuable that you can or should force other people to do something like provide medical treatment with no expense spared. Because, regardless of your feelings, people die. And at a certain point, efforts to prevent that death are wasteful and detrimental to the collective whole.

In the United States (a real country), many hospitals were run by charities. Then the Jews put their dirty rat feet all over the health and insurance industries.
Daily reminder that women and kikes are responsible for the majority of the world's problems.

Actually, human life is worth forcing people to pay taxes for. On my scheme of values.

Do your values also include turning Cuckingham Palace into a sandnigger church?

Before the ACA , health insurance plans had yearly and lifetime monetary limits. So if you had cancer and a $500,000 lifetime policy limit, once you hit $500,000 in care, you lost your health insurance. You would then die because you couldn't get health insurance from any other provider due to your pre-existing condition of cancer. The ACA eliminated those limits as well as the ability for you to be denied coverage over pre-existing conditions.

But also, the Great Depression killed them off. Charitable giving falls in recessions whereas demand for charity rises.

>OW! My top marginal tax rates hurt!
Made me laugh.

How much do you quantify a human life to be? At what % taxes do you think the government pulls the plug? 100%? Are you willing to be a slave to ensure all possible medical procedures can be done to save everyone? Are you okay consigning others to the same slavery because of your valures?

Do you see where this goes? There is a finite amount of energy and resources in this world. You're trying to apply perfect ideals to an imperfect world.

>On my scheme of values.
Good for you. You aren't an American though, so fuck off.

Government should just fix prices and save everyone billions in paper work and litigation. Paying lawyers to negotiate pricing between hospitals and insurance companies is a waste of time and money.

It's not like healthcare is always a free market choice anyway. If you get side swiped by a drunk driver the hospital isn't going to wait for explicit consent to save your life.

They were getting worse services at higher cost on OUR dime before the ACA. They just let their medical conditions get worse and worse until they had to go to the mergency room, they get charged more than they can afford, file for bankruptcy, and everyone else in the country has to foot the bill for something that could have been taken care of with a few very cheap regular medical checkups.

...

Fun Fact: The medical and pharmaceutical industries in America make a 20% profit. Only 14% of that profit (2.8% gross) goes into actual research. The rest gets pocketed by stockholders in Malibu.

The reason they make such a killing compared to other industries is because unlike other nations the US government is unwilling to step in and fix prices and consumers of these services can't do anything because when they are in the market for an emergency appendectomy they have zero grounds to negotiate. They just pay whatever the doctor decides to charge them.

Why is it the responsibility of the gubberment to pay for anyone's healthcare? Also eliminating the pre-existing conditions clause sounds like a warm and fuzzy idea until you realize that people with chronic illnesses will be able to game the system. They can't be denied and they'll eat up most of the burden, effectively making everyone else pay for their meds and procedures.

>BIX NOOD?!
>NOPE.

Forced and unfunny. These are the most entry level memes I've seen in a edit in awhile. I know you were in a hurry, but put some effort into it. Make a new thread after this one dies if necessary.

Capitalism's time is up

Then you have to embrace that fully.

For example, if a person is diagnosed HIV positive then he is required to surrender all information regarding all partners, under penalty. And he may be quarantined if he will not take precautions, to include public disclosure of status so everyone knows the risks.

And prisoners, being temporary wards of the State, may be freely experimented upon for medical research.

I'm certain other examples may be thought up.

>You would then die

And such is life. There isn't enough money in the world to save everyone from cosmic injustice like people with health problems. There especially isn't enough money in the world to supply everyone with all the healthcare they think they're entitled to. I'm not really sure why people dying is unfair. Life is pretty fucking unfair.

What if we don't want them? Unlike your country, people come here in droves and bid everyone down for employment. Its good for business but it leaves a lot of sullen, resentful, underclass. They're eminently easy to replace in a pure numbers sense and affect little in an economic sense except as drag.

Medicine is one of the only markets where people of all colors except gibs.
Your doctor didn't spend 12 years becoming an expert in heart disease so he could work for free g

Sorry I disappointed you dad

>fuck my fellow man, and my fellow citizens
>the children and women should die at birth as much as possible
This is your nationalism on capitalism.

i still don't understand why americans aren't happy about their tax money going towards healthcare. how?

You act like the government can actually enforce humanitarian values. I don't know if you realize, but governments have been responsible for more injustice than any other entity ever conceived.

It's the failure of multiculturalism. If you no longer have kinship with your countrymen, why would you care about them?

>muh multiculturalism
>I hate other cultures more than I love my own
You have no idea how right you are

Because a large part of Americans don't work (blacks) and do not wish to work and thus do not pay taxes. They leech off the taxes of working people. Socialized systems are a great idea if they are implemented in a homogeneous society where everyone shares the same culture and values, but America has many cultures, some of which prioritize taking advantage of the system while contributing nothing.

Oh, so you mean the Soviets didn't starve women and children to death by the millions? Oh wait, I guess that wasn't REAL communism.

>Implying tax money goes to providing healthcare and not just friends of politicians

>every poor person in my country should suffer because of multiculturalism
poor white americans don't just disappear

No labelled axes on that chart. 3/10 see me after class.

>Oh, so you mean the Soviets didn't starve women and children to death by the millions?
They didn't.

>OP comic says a baby is dying because of capitalism
Meanwhile in reality:

>children to death by the millions?
>They didn't.

I completely believe you.

Funny that upon reading this I realized it's actually the outcome of a liberal America.

Leave them to their stupidity.
They don't deserve our help.

Your health is an individual responsibility. Why should I pay taxes to buy some alcoholic diabetic landwhale a new kidney transplant every 3 months?

Fuck that, pay for your own kidney.

Healthcare in the USA is stupidly expensive for other reasons I don't care to get into, but they were issues Obamacare attempted to address and it probably would have worked if they gave it like, 10 fucking years for them to get their shit figured out and they forced the insurance cartel to cooperate.

And I'm certain that if you wanted some sort of unlimited lifetime policy, the insurance companies would be willing to oblige for a price. You know - just like how life insurance companies do exactly that.

I would happily die an avoidable death if it sabotaged the health of the types of people I meet in daily life.

People are a disease.

You would sing a very different song if this happened to you

What a shitty comic.
It's neither offensive, not funny, nor gets its point across.

I'm glad that you managed to overcome decades of Nazi, CIA and McCarthy propaganda, user. Very few actually make the connection between billionaire owned media pushing narratives and fake news and them constantly reporting how awful socialism/communism is. Even less people think beyond the platitudes the capitalist culture pushes about "human nature" and "being nice in theory but failing in practice" as the capitalists being literally unable to refute Marx.

Go back to late stage capitalism you fool.

>They can't be denied and they'll eat up most of the burden, effectively making everyone else pay for their meds and procedures.
When I was in college it was inconceivable to me that anyone could ever be so callus and selfish to think like that, but here it is one generation later.

One example of socialism or communism work? Enlighten me.

Bro you are really contentious who hurt you?

USSR rose to the second most powerful country in the world with it. Cuba managed to survive 60 years of constant embargo, while other countries wouldn't last a week.

Yeah, shitlibs will lie about everything.

Lol.
>commies actually believe this

...

spbp

If Cuba was so nice, explain allthe refugees fleeing that place to capitalist America?

I would have insurance if this happened to me.

"Among wealthy countries"

What is a wealthy country? If you make up the definition of what a wealthy country is then you could easily take whatever arbitrary bullshit number of countries you want that the US ends at then anything below that number of countries isn't "wealthy"

Fucking liberals

Where's Qatar? Singapore? UAE? Saudi Arabia? Taiwan? Equatorial Guinea? Those are all richer than New Zealand is, so where the fuck are they?

osac.gov/pages/ContentReportDetails.aspx?cid=17021
"Burkina Faso is a land-locked country in the center of West Africa with one of the highest poverty rates in the world." Really seems to be working!

>communists have to take 2 paragraphs to say what a nazi can say in a sentence
Why is leftism so unfunny?

This
Americans larp as Nazis, but when it comes to social health care, they're all fucking capitalists.

>1 post by this ID
>Third time this thread has been done today

Yet without fail it will make it to the post limit again.

Sage.

...

There is more than enough wealth to grant those protections to US citizens, however

>americans would rather crawl up into a ball and die than let a billionaire pay slightly higher taxes

Imagine being this cucked

Socialist health care degenerates into hospitals akin to expensive prisons full of angry people who often resort to punishment to enforce healthfulness, with a top floor full of people who make graphs that prove they do something all day. I've seen it.
