Why is that nobody in my age group (18-22) cares about Jesus, The Bible, or anything of such nature? All they care about is smoking pot, getting drunk, vacationing, spending their parents money, etc.?

I try my best to labor and sweat my face off 6 days week. I try my very best at work, I try to be welcoming and show genuine love towards people and it seems like all the time that I'm just treated as weird, insignificant, or just a crazy conspiracy person.

I'm a pretty normal dude. I drive a truck, work a construction job, I hunt, read my Bible, I like guns, fireworks, BBQ. It seems the more and more I read the truth the less and less connection I have to this world. I am in some bondage to sin right now which I think is holding me back smoking cigarettes, foolish speaking, and porn. I just really wish I could live and serve God the most effective possible way I can without "offending" or making people think I'm just a crazy nut.

I'm not Catholic, I'm not protestant, I just read the King James Bible for what it says and try my best to hear and be a doer of the Word. Thanks and God Bless.

I wish I was as strong as to be able to publicly support my faith. I would never denounce God or Christ, but I definitely have some work to do in gaining the confidence to support them publicly. Even so, defending those values and lessons instilled by the Bible made the pharisees and those who were blinded by them hate Christ with a passion. If we follow Christ, we will be hated, it's a directly proportional relationship. The more love you have for Christ, the more hate the world will throw at you.

I think one of the reasons the U.S. was so successful for such a long time is because of freedom of religion and freedom of speech.

I believe that people in "the day" worked good jobs. People were carpenters (that went to church), electricians (that went to church), pilots (that went to church), and even your local mail man went to Church. Everybody was on the same page with one unified doctrine. Now it's hundreds of different denominations, hundreds of different bibles, hundreds of different beliefs. That's why this country's moral fabric is eroding because everybody has a different belief that has nothing to do with the King James Bible your grandparents and their parents grew up on.

My life is quite fucked up and I often try to turn to God because I don't really know what else to do, and also because a lot of my philosophical and spiritual beliefs are rather similar to some facets of Christianity.

I just can't seem to believe in the personal God idea. Like an all-seeing individual, that hears what I say, and that will guide me and whatnot. My psyche just rejects the possibility entirely. I can even sometimes believe in the devil, in angels, etc. But the God part just will not stick, it's like trying to imagine a round square for me.

The bible has been profitable for a long time, but not to those who follow it.

Male > Female in terms of decision making, rational thought (caused by heightened mental clarity from increased testosterone and endorphins), and physical strength against threats. Lifting, or exercise (real exercise not a fucking bike machine for 10 minutes a week) will show yourself you will push through pain for reward and will stick to a strict regimen. This also is able to be seen by outsiders. Showing your strength and if they're part of your group (pack) then they will want to naturally compete and get better themselves. Thus increasing the survivability of the pack.

most people i've met who are openly and proudly christian...usually seem to be major faggots. no offense. the youth group kids were usually just the outcasts who never discovered (or were afraid of) punk rock or some other subculture. youth group was their safe space where they had "friends."

and most open christians i've met seem to be a little...err...disconnected from reality. they say things like "secular music" instead of just "music" and their maturity level and aversion to innocent things like swearing makes them seem to be stuck in some sort of pre-teen mindset of retarded "innocence."
