The audience hall in this photo was commissioned by the Pope who approved the writings of Vatican II, Paul VI. The in addition to frightening modern sculpture that supposedly depicts Our Lord Jesus Christ, the building itself has been made to look like a serpent. (Serpents have NEVER been used the Church as depicting anything good, but are symbols of sin and the devil.)
This building and the "modern art" inside are an offense against the faith. True Catholic architecture can be seen in the great cathedrals of Europe, which remain the most beautiful buildings in the world.
