You see the thing is - our politics are kind of crap, it's just that there is no societal support for straight-up suicidal policies and socialists have to fight for voters with our mainstream conservatives which are basically Catholic Socialist for all it's worth. Obviously all of this is entangled in between various local oligarchs but that's beyond it. Until recently you could've just tell who owns which TV station - they shilled for whoever their owner supported - but now all private ones are owned by various German companies(all of them in bed with their govt) and they play the same tune. Newspapers are kind of like they were back in the times, so you have some "independent" pieces that still shill for their owners(but there obviously is large amount of German owned toilet paper).
As such, every legislation can be easily traced back to specific companies that profit off the loopholes in it, our constitution is just a modified communist constitution with lots of remnants from it.
The rich, unconnected outsider like Tymiński can theoretically delve into this piece of shit and set it straight. The problem is that they typically say the rational thing - take away gibz, reform this and that and old people would rather still live in commie country than rock the boat. Currently the ruling party is PiS which is as I've said Socialist Catholic party. They've won about 40% of votes and hold 51% of seats in parliament. The next is PO(hysterical liberals) with 24% votes and 30% parliament seats, then Kukiz(relatively far-right, reasonable opposition kind of deal) at almost 9% votes, then Nowoczesna(split liberal party) at 7,6% of votes and 6% of seats, then PSL(farmer's party, in theory) at 5%(barely got there) and 3,5% of parliament. German minority has constitutionally guaranteed 1 seat
