What keeps a corporation from becoming a sovereign?

Lets say someone on Sup Forums starts a legal corporate entity and begins sellong shares to /ourguys/ in exchange for goods and currency.

The corporation then employs shareholders, and gathers land, industrial bases, and 'private security' equipment.

The corporationthen declares itself a country, calls employees citizens, and is run according to a new set of rules.

Why would this or wouldn't this work?

this is how usa was formed

there is no concrete definition of what a state is. i guess if major powers recognized AutismoCorp as a nation then it would actually be one.

Are you doing this inside the border of another country? Because that government will kill you and take all your stuff.

The only thing stopping anyone is the might of the military from the country they want to seize land from.

well that depends, does said corporation has oil?

this isn't really what the thread is about but who cares... do you guys think there are any countries these days willing to sell land to you as a state, rather than private property as a citizen? (is a new country without war feasible)

Corporation=Colony back then? Didn't know that.
Does somewhere in Africa count?

i guess they'd be desperate enough to sell their country but a whole literal boatload of nogs would come with it

>Corporation from being sovereign
Corporation relied on a Sovereign conferring it powers and was always subject to Parliamentary oversight.

Any declaration of independence would be a violation of the Sovereign's laws that granted it legal rights and personality. The company would cease to be a legal entity and therefore would have no recognition outside its own self declared jurisdiction.

But maybe we can trick a mayor power to accidentally recognise this country. Just search for what happend with Sealand

We're trying to have less countries, not more. It's counter-productive to globalisation and the one nation Earth.

A cooperation without tax subventions, a centralised banking system and loyal citizen will not survive. btw, OP samson is over, the core is gone, all that is left on here are robots. But don't mind, keep spamming ;^)

colony/private enterprise established > succeeds > charter colony > revolution > America

All the clay is claimed at this point. You can't declare sovereignty without taking another nation's clay, and that other nation probably isn't going to just roll over while you take it.

It wouldnt be as profitable.

Some of the Globalist Groups/Power Structures have done things similar to this. It also makes dealing with them be complex sometimes.

It can work, but you need to have people in Governments/Corporations/Industry's inorder for you to successfully pull it off without any "Interruptions".

Then you have alternative routes such as Black Market & Deep Webs, Secret Societies can be added in to this aswell.

In the US? Tax payers paying taxes to keep corporations from becoming sovereign and doing evil shit.
Example:
Enron

This basically describes each of the 13 corporations that were established as the original 13 US states.
The American revolution was a revolution against corporate rule.
For decades after the revolution, corporations could only be created for small projects of limited duration, such as building a bridge, collecting tolls for 5 years, and then the corporation dissolves and bridge goes to the town.
Then in the late 1800s corporations began to buy off the politicians and judges and acquired all the powers they have today.

you mean a city?
it's already been done.
see
>LA
>New York
>Seatle
>every city that's been incorporated.
except that employees aren't called citizens, they're called cattle.

USA is basically it and they seem to be doing fine.
