Today Poland's ruling party passed into law a piece of legislation dismissing 83 of the countries top judges and allowing them to remove 23 out of 25 of the judges who have the power to overrule the government.
With this every branch of government is now under the complete control of the PiS and nobody can challenge their decisions. Even things like the army have been taken over by PiS.
