Bro countries persue their own national interest. They were fully cooperating (US and Turkey) before the coup of last year, but it seems the Turks see the Kurds a more dangerous group than ISIS and will do anything to secure their interest, even cooperate with Russian and Syrians who they were actively involved against. The Turks and US dont see eye to eye anymore but still having the control of the entrance to the black sea and second largest army in NATO has some clout so I dont think open conflict will erupt between the US and Turkey. Behind the scene fuckery (i.e coup) and the mad sultan flip flopping is always a possibility.
