"Indian Paganism: The Last Living Expression of Aryan Beauty" - Savitri Devi, A Warning to the Hindus

cincinnatitemple.com/articles/HinduIndianNationalism1939.pdf

>What is Hinduism?

Hinduism is the oldest organized religion in the world. It is the Sanatana Dharma, the Eternal Law. It has no known origin and no founders - it is a synthesis of various Indian cultures and practices from as early as 4000 BCE.

Hinduism differs from Christianity and other Abrahamic religions in that it does not have:

>A single founder,
>A specific theological system,
>A single concept of deity,
>A single holy text,
>A single system of morality,
>A central religious authority,
>The concept of a prophet.

Hinduism is neither polytheistic, monotheistic, trinitarian or henotheistic, yet it is all at the same time.

The development of Hinduism was influenced by many invasions over thousands of years. The major influences occurred when nomadic "Aryan" Indo-European tribes invaded Northern India from the steppes of Russia and Central Asia. They brought with them their religion of Vedism. These beliefs mingled with the more advanced, indigenous Indian native beliefs, often called the "Indus valley culture."

>Political Significance of Hinduism in this Age

All the decadence of the world today has been predicted by Hinduism.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kali_Yuga

Prophesied events during a Kali Yuga

>Rulers will become unreasonable: they will levy taxes unfairly.
>Rulers will no longer see it as their duty to promote spirituality, or to protect their subjects: they will become a danger to the world.
>People will start migrating, seeking countries where wheat and barley form the staple food source.
>At the end of Kali-yuga, when there exist no topics on the subject of God, even at the residences of so-called saints and respectable gentlemen of the three higher varnas [temperament] and when nothing is known of the techniques of sacrifice, even by word, at that time the Lord will appear as the supreme chastiser.

Kali Yuga with regard to human relationships

>Avarice and wrath will be common. Humans will openly display animosity towards each other. Ignorance of dharma will occur.
>People will have thoughts of murder with no justification and will see nothing wrong in that.
>Lust will be viewed as socially acceptable and sexual intercourse will be seen as the central requirement of life.
>Sin will increase exponentially, while virtue will fade and cease to flourish.
>People will take vows and break them soon after.
>People will become addicted to intoxicating drinks and drugs.
>Teachers will no longer be respected and their students will attempt to injure them. Their teachings will be insulted, and followers of Kama(lust) will wrest control of the mind from all human beings.

Yes Rasheed anything else?

bump dank hinduism thread

The original gau rakshak

For all the gods of the pagans are idols;
but the Lord made the heavens.

Honor and majesty are before him;
strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.

K..keep me posted

Roleplaying this hard

The amount of serious christcucks I've seen on /pol makes me believe he isn't larping

Anybody practicing christianity is larping.

Well it's their religion, what are your thoughts about Hinduism

is India and Hinduism the only successful multicultural civilization?

What would you attribute it to, if so; the right mix of affability and similar-enough? A willingness to live in wide inequality?

It is my duty to remind you that there is no salvation outside of the Church. Pax vobis.

also, what stumbling blocks would there be for a christian marrying a Hindu woman?

Asking for a friend...

False religion, like any written religion, really.

Indian people tried to make God everything. But if God is everything, then he's pretty much nothing. Probably why there are Hindu atheists.

You only get saved through gnosis of the true God.

We share the same religion and the same language roots.
Her parents

bump based thread

It's a faith stupid. That's why it's not called science. It's not supposed to be testable by the scientific method.

Well what according to you is real religion If their are any

Faith in God has very little to do with religion so yes we've had Hindu atheists for centuries yet they still believe in religion and dharma

youtube.com/watch?v=hMBKmQEPNzI

Include this in the OP Hindubro.

Yeah I am trying to make a better pasta with viral links and such thanks for the addition

I never said anything about evidence.
I believe that there's a God but that the true religion is unknown to man, also given my experiences the true religion is undoubtly a gnostic one and God is draconic.

nice post
>euphoric/10

What is the most universally insulting thing to say to an Indian?

Why is that your belief? Care to explain?

Dalit /bhangi
Don't call anyone that in irl though

Because of an experience I had one day where God gave me gnosis, then I had a series of experiences while I was searching for the true religion, none of them was true, and God made sure I abandoned them.

It seems like social status is really touchy subject to you guys.

Was it a psychedelic experience by any chance?

Well yes centuries of legacies are contained in one Hindu name obviously social status is a touchy subject

No, it was actually pretty sober an experience, never had I had such a lucidity before, it was like getting high on intellect and lucidity.

not to mention the whole british aristocratic occupation

What's with the cow worship? Also which one is the holy river, the Ganges or the Brahmaputra? Always mix those up. Also, one more thing - that Holi thing you guys do, where you fight with multicolored paints and powders in the streets - what's the origin of that? How does it relate to Hinduism?

Were you on psychedelics, and you should read the mahabharat linked in op as a story book you might find it of interest

The term for India as a country is Older than the anglos

>cow worship
Agrarian society and soma
>holy river
It's Ganga
>holi
It's the celebration of one of the wars our gods fought against evil

No, I was sober, and the experience is a very sober one, nothing psychedelic and you have the surety of god because you feel a divine pressence and it's nothing like any experience before, in fact you feel god within.

Dropping some Jasraj in the house.

That feels really intense desu a unique experience from whatever I've read pretty interesting too sadly I am don't know too much about Christianity to comment on the gnostic nature and such

I like these ones as well. But include Shiv tandava stotrap at top in the OP.

Well I definitely will but that Savitri Devi quote would've been a good bait for old /pol

This one? Any mention of NatSoc gets them hard, kek.

I just built a rat temple and ate food with sacred poo. Also, I have dreams of an elephant with multiple arms fingering me, Hinduism is woke.

i have a pretty shallow understanding of the depth and breadth of Hinduism but I keep returning to these spooky looking deities.

Deities which appear Tamasic, at least on the surface, but can be powerful agents for cutting through Samara I think.

Do you speak/understand Hindi?

Yes and I understand sanskrit too.

user deities are just one very small aspect of Hinduism

Damn that's cool. I regret not paying attention in Sanskrit classes.

Well do you understand hindi? What are your thoughts on the hypeboers theory? Have you experienced psychedelics

The Hyperborean theory makes perfect sense if you believe that there was a cataclysmic event some 12,000 years ago that washed away all previous civilization.

It's sad that there are so few records older than the Vedas.

Yes it makes too much tbqh the basic premise of Hinduism teaches cyclic civilisations, the recurring stories between civilization and such I am pretty much convinced hypeboers were a real thing

I know it is a complex system of which tends towards pantheistism/panentheism/monotheism.

Still certain karmic types are drawn to certain forms of god for Bhakti yoga I believe?

Going on what I have read from Adi Shankara.

Also some forms of Kashmir Shaivism put a strong emphasis on Bhairava.

i tried to get into hinduism because i like yoga and i am a romuvan(lithuanian ethnic faith) but the vedas are really tough to read
i find hinduism fascinating because its whole another dimension of philosophy that is completely overlooked here
what is one aspect of hinduism that us westerners overlook and dont understand?

Yes I speak Hindi. Is Lokmanya's book only material on that theory?

No its quite a famous theory most of the old world religions point towards it, read into who Graham Hancock is and watch his Joe Rogan appearance, have you experienced psychedelics?

Well when I started researching Hinduism it soon became clear to me that I was trying to study not one, but a dozen different religions and philosophies.

Bhakti is one of the ways to achieve moksha their are several ways so not everyone one is attracted to bankti and read the texts gurus and sects get it wrong all the time

I believe the Bhagavad Gita is considered a good introduction to a lot of the concepts presented in the Vedas, in terms of the structure of reality, duty, virtue etc.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bhagavad_Gita

It isn't super long and is pretty straightforward instruction from Krishna to Arjuna. Just be aware that most versions contain commentary and annotations, which are useful but can be biased towards different schools of Hinduism.

>Vedas are tough to read
user firstly read the mythology as most westerns judge Hinduism with western parameters its quite hard to understand the philosophy, the mythology will warm you towards such concepts
>2
Westerns don't understand practically anything about Hinduism our concept of God and religion is totally foreign to them they even deem Hindusim as a non religion or a Collection of multiple religions even though it's not

POO

IN

The one linked in the op are good translations and Upanishads are the summations of the Vedas but yes Geeta is a Good starting point too

India is not a successful multicultural civilization. Their country is an impoverished shithole that was a ton of small, warring kingdoms before the British and Portuguese came.
Despite Indian cultures being around for thousands of years, 'India' as a national concept is younger than countries like Canada, Australia, and the US.

>anglo education

Okay, friend, tell me at what point in history aside from modern times India has existed as a unified, Indian state?

This is just of the instance.

Maurya Empire was pretty close.

*one

Is India modernizing rapidly? It very much seems like it, but how long will it be until the people adopt proper hygiene and what not?

I would really like to do some motorbiking in India, but I got very sick when I went to Nepal recently. I threw up blood and was sick for 10 days until I got antibiotics. I know it isn't quite India, but it is very similar from what I've looked.

Okay, I will concede that point to some degree, even though it is not all of India.
Mainly what I was getting at is that an all-encompassing Indian civilization has little basis in history. I am sure the Mauryan Empire was not the conceptual basis of modern India, and instead was a new vision of what India should be.

All of these Empires, the majority being foreign conquerors, and only this one comes close?

>2000 years under native rule
I like how you are clutching at straws and the mauryan empire is the basis you retard even our nation emblem is based on mauryan empire

basically

> God created humans and the earth
> Man ruins the earth
> God therefore is evil

its an idiots perfect conclusion to life

Am I clutching at straws friendo? I'm just disputing calling India 'the only successful multicultural civilization.'
You sound like the one grasping at straws of a thousands-of-years old empire.

If you have a delicate stomach only visit tourist location, if you wanna do a motor biking adventure look into chandigarh to leh ladakh rides and yes it's modernizing but it will take 15-20 years for us to be called a first world nation

You made the point on majority foreign rule even though nothing suggests that, it's just that your knowledge of history is limited to anglo propaganda. Pro tip: read about a few of those dynasties and you might find the warring tribes story is just nonsense

How open are Indian girls to non Indian guys? I find Hinduism interesting and admire the Tamil Tigers. Will I have a chance at scoring with a girl if I travel to India?

Keep in mind I'm not looking for light skin beauties, but love the dark skinned ones. The darker the better imho.

You will be better off with city whores and most of them won't marry you of course

They love the white man. Blonde hair and blue eyes are best.

...

Shit. But I'll visit one day anyways and maybe I'll get lucky.

You gotta see it like this, for every Indian girl dated by white men there is a blonde haired blue eyed girl for you Jeet :)

>Implying I can score a girl
Arranged marriage is my only hope desu

>won't marry you of course
Is this because I'm not Indian or because they're whores?

Thats cause you are not Indian most traditional girls won't even date you

Where do I find untraditional Indians then?

As I said the city girls, go to cities like banglore and Mumbai you'll find them in the pubs
