Because educated and disciplined white people do not need laws to behave.
You need laws when uneducated and retarded.

We're doing okay, for now.

ironically it's the frogfaggots in romand cantons who keep voting for leftist parties and support gun control referendums, fucking snail eating muslim

>"were doing ok"

Reading that png, it sounds to me like you guys need some liberation.

In the last two decades, there has been an effort by the legislator, executive and law enforcement to reduce guns in Swiss society. They don't like that shit.

They always jizzed their pants, when the EU proposed new gun regulations, which was happily implemented in Swiss Federal Laws. The newest update of the law is currently in the making. So keep track, to update your stupid picture.

I'm angry a.f. Thinking about a habbening.

>bows are free for everyone
>crossbows can be bought by anyone and used on your property NO carry allowef

>guns can be acquired by 4 types of people
>sports shooters
>hunters
>collectors
>VIPs

>sports license:
>is NOT a carry permit
>limited amount of guns per license
>semi auto, mag size restricted
>need to do background check and technical/legal knowledge test (all costing money)
>need to be member of shooting club for 12 months or longer
>need to have a TÜV approved gunsafe and a separate ammo safe (not allowed to store ammo and guns in the same safe)
>once license acquired you need to go shooting once a month or 24 times a year
>government can come into your home at will and check if guns/ammo are stored properly or they sack your license

>hunters license:
>background check
>need to pass an exam that 99% of American high school students would fail (about ecology, biology
>also expensive as shit
>may only caring at the hunting grounds during hunting season
>4 shot mags max

>collector's license
>almost impossible to acauire
>collection must be "of public value and interest"
>needs to be specific ("rifles" wouldn't cut it, "18-19th century lever action rifles" would)
>for museums basically

>VIP license
>is also an actual carry permit
>impssible to aquire

That's cool they have such lax gun laws, but do they have anything for sale at reasonable prices?

I remember my family and all the families around us had a walmart shotgun for HD until we could get better (OFC we never did because my parents are white trash and terrible at saving). My first gun was a $175 Hi-point, cheap as dirt, but it was a gun. Do the Swiss have anything that poor folks can afford?

the swiss are all rich as fuck from helping the rest of europe evade tax so they can afford whatever the hell they want.

It's also comical how the swiss can own nearly any gun they want but if you get caught speeding your life is over.

What the fuck is wrong with your gun laws. Here you can literally just go to a gun show that's passing through town and purchase a gun. Walk in, give the man with mutton-chops $300 USD and walk out with a rifle and 200 rd 7.62mm.

Here, you can CC pretty much everywhere, in all major cities nationwide. Yes, NYC, SF, and D.C. are real tight on CC, but the rest of the cities in the union are pretty damn reasonable.

No offense Germany, but you've very neatly set yourself up for a government takeover of privacy and private property. Your citizenry effectively have no recourse against an increasingly intrusive and demanding government.

That's pretty sad bro. That must be nice to live in such a wealthy, nigger-free country though.

One day...

Nope. Everything is high price here.

A Glock is $600 and up. But only for older generations. I prefer SIGs and they go for $1500 and up.

I paid $2300 for my AR-15. Built by a German company, came with nice rails and sheiit. There are less quality ones for less money, but it's not worth the price.

>$600 for a Glock
>$2300 for an AR-15

Now those are some pretty terrifying prices. My Glock 17 was $350, and AR-15's in my area run for $1000-$1200 with no mods (I've only got rifle and shotgun, and some pistols for HD).

isn't there going to be a referendum to reject the eu shit?

Because their country can't rely on territory defense. Every inch has to be bought by the enemy with tremendous losses. That's why you want a well-armed populace.

Austria has pretty good gun laws, too, btw. Only carrying is a bit tedious and expensive to aquire, but you can get bolt-actions easily.

You should try an AUG. It is still a full 16 inch barrel but so much more compact than a nirmal rifle like an AR. Takes a bit to get used to but it is much easier to move around with and is quicker to get on target.

If you go to southern Italy you have the most permissive gun laws in EU. They own guns illegally without owning permit, and they also carry those guns illegally every day!

Pretty damn sure there will be. Fuck the gun grabbers and their lazy ass excuses to disarm the law abiding population!

Also shooting ranges can have full auto weapons IIRC ?

it's people in the french cantons that are the biggest gun grabbers

Because it is majority white, not run by the Jews and not part of the EU

No full auto is forbidden by EU law. But still, it's commonly known around Italy that a lot of people have full auto owned illegally.

Plus if you buy a normal Glock it's quite easy to turn it full auto illegally, at least from what I see in this video:
youtube.com/watch?v=5daUortNVcw

Of course if you do that illegally in US you get your ass opened up and cooked, but here in Italy you get a slap on the wrist and not much more than that.

The Romandie (french speaking part of Switzerland) is generally more left leaning.

that is not ok kiddo but hey it's far better off than Japan haha

Nah, I've tried my friend's AUG before and it feels like a squirt gun; no recoil! I know it sounds stupid and it'll get me killed one day, but I really like long-rifles that fire mid-to-high caliber rounds and kick like a mule.

First the law has to be finalized and approved by various instances. Then signature can be collected by the populace. 50k are needed, they have to be collected within a certain period.

Personally I think the 50k will be collected, but it won't pass the vote. The government and most of the parties will scare the voters, that the whole bilateral treaty with the EU will collapse and we will eat cheese rind for the next decade.

I wish I could move to Switzerland, but I'm too much of a poorfag.

Mountain jews gotta protect their horde.

I wish i could move to a free country. But apparently they don't exist anymore. People are way to eager in giving away their god given rights.

what cantons are the swiss posters itt living in and what was the exact process and time to get a permit to buy weapons?

fuck the eu so much. I hope the referendum succeeds.
the czechs passed a rkba and bypassed the directive completely. lets hope Switzerland does too

Switzerland isn't even in the eu

I know and it sucks.
I'm prepping as hard as I am allowed to (crossbows, machetes, survival guides, gear etc.) and I'll try to get a hunter's licence.
The problem is that gun rights movements are virtually non existant here. no one (population nor politics) knows or wants to know about guns and every major political party is repulsed by even talking about the subject except when there was a school shooting and they plan on restricting even more.

Big Brother, give us freedoms!

I grew up a city-rat and grew up around niggers so I can tell you right now the crossbow/machete/survival guide bullshit is absolutely not going to work when SHTF.

You need a gun. You need a lot of guns, with a lot of ammo. I'm sitting less than two feet away from a shotgun, a long-rifle, and two pistols, with about 1000 rd for the rifle, 200 for the shotgun the 2000 for the pistols.

I know as a German you're really working uphill on your gun-rights, but when Muhammed is knocking down your door with a sledge, are you really going to meet him with a crossbow? It's honestly depressing, because your rights as a citizen stem directly from the state's fear of armed uprising. If you have no way to fight the government, they no longer fear you; they treat you as peasants, as a disposable resource.

The problem is, that the Swiss government asks the EU how high they should jump, if the EU dictates to jump. They're absolute cucks.

They asked for an 'exemption', but only regarding military rifles of Swiss Service men. Not for private gun ownership. They don't care really about Swiss people having guns. They prefer actually they don't have guns.

which canton?

At least there's fewer guns in total around so a crossbow and some huge knives are going to """outgun""" 70% of the neighbourhood. I always say some defense is alaways better as no defense.

The German doesn't see the government as an enemy, not even a potential one. Ironic since it didn't happen too long ago that the government turned onto some of its citizens. As long as we are brainwashed, nothing will change.

The ownership of a weapon is what differenciate a citizen from a slave.

>french flag
>romand
Fuck you ! Or va chier as I could say ! They are still right wing romands in Romandie !

The details vary from canton to canton. In my part it's something like this:
- Order a federal extract of your criminal records at a post office (20 bucks).
- Receive it in the mail after 2-3 days.
- Meanwhile, fill out request form for a permit (max. 3 items: firearms and/or "significant parts" of firearms).
- Give all that and a copy of your ID/Passport to the local police office.
- Receive permit in mail after 10-14 days which consists of 3 copies: 1 for you, 1 for the vendor, 1 for the police of the canton (50 bucks administrative charges).
- Go buy yur stuff from one and the same vendor per permit. The vendor fills out the forms, both sign it, you are obligated to keep your copy for at least 10 years.

Swiss gun law is a federal law and applies to the whole of Switzerland.

Cantons handle the requests for the purchase permits. Some cantons may be a pain in the ass, some cantons are a little bit more lax. But more or less they are bound to the federal law.

- first you order an excerpt of your criminal record from the federal police, it might take a few days and you have to pay a fee
- once you get it in the mail, you fill out the federal form for a purchase permit
- you have to state roughly what kid of item you gonna buy (eg. Pistol 9mm) and what your intent is (collector, hunter...)
- send in criminal record and the signed form to the responsable bureau of your cantonal government
- they might ask you more questions, pay you a visit
- then they either deny your request, or accept it and send you forms you can go to the store and buy your item
- the cantonal government charges you another fee
- the whole process takes roughly two to three weeks

Fucking true, sadly.

They are actually average for European. American gun owners have pretty distorted comprehension about European gun culture due to their linguistic and cultural ties to Brits who have probably the strictest gun laws in the whole continent. And even within the UK the handgun and semiauto bans only concern people living in England, Scotland and Whales. Northern Ireland, Canal Islands and Gibraltar you can own guns in almost the same degree as in the US.

Talking about the laws on the continent the Eastern Europe and the ex-socialist bloc is in general even more lax than Switzerland.

>the strictest gun laws in the whole continent
That's Poland for you

sorry but that's just not universally true and the question needs to be examined on a state by state basis. ex-socialist croatia here and the process is something like this:
1.have a reason for owning a gun:
a)apply for hunters permit (requires training and payment)
b)join a sports shooting organization
c)self-defense - provide valid evidence of threat
d)official permits for soldiers/police/security guards
2.physical and mental health checkup
3.if you get your "permit for firearm acquisition" then you can go on and get your crime record and actually apply to buy a gun

The reality of situation is in all post-commie states owning a gun is practically impossible (unless you own it illegally) because of regulations / permit acquisition process / cost of ownership. It's basically this but every category is VIP.
There is no point of owning a gun when you can't use it, that's why only police and gangsters are armed

Wew lad, I'm glad we are take up a whole continent, for the gov. to try and take our guns away would be such a massive undertaking as to realistically never happen.

Spanish rules are very weird. You are not able to have automatic weapons, but you can get a licence and have this.

>You are not able to have automatic weapons, but you can get a licence and have this.

Do you understand the difference between the fire rate of bolt action (even high caliber ones) and a machine gun?

Unless you meant semi-autos I don't see why those laws would be any more weird than in Finland or even the USA.

Example of a weird gun law: In Colorado you're allowed to own and use ammobelts of whatever capacity but not box magazines exceeding capacity of 15 rounds.

no, VIP means civilians of special interest who need it for protection

I don't even know who gets one, I suspect only very very rich, famous and/or politicians
