I buy from local farmers and butchers. Clean diet of vegetables, fruit, nuts and meat. Nothing processed.

Get a hydroponic garden running. For herbs/greens/various vegetables. Ebb and flow is probably the nicest I have dealt with.

Eat nutritionally dense food. Chia seeds translates to strength seeds. If you think about it, seeds start up a plant by having all available resources condensed into a small piece of whatever.

Meat and Dairy is a crap shoot. If you're okay with killing stuff maybe raising chickens or rabbits if you got the space. The other option is to somehow buy from a farm directly that isn't a commercial nightmare farm.

Various proteins (plenty of fish and wild game), leafy greens, mushrooms, use radish instead of potatoes, squash, zucchini, eggplant, cauliflower, broccoli, eggs, if you must eat bread make sure it is rye/pumpernickel type (no white, sorry), high quality cheese, milk as a treat only (make sure it is raw and not packaged in plastic). This is very basic shit but a good start.

I stock food long term. It's canned, dried & frozen. My storage is for emergency, in the hopeful unlikely case of income interruption.

My weight blew up last year to way too high. I dropped carbs & dropped 35 lbs. Fast fwd several months & started eating carbs again, the occasional snack, and I'm still maintaining that weight loss. It occurred to me that my daily bowl of oat grain honey granola was most likely the culprit of my ballooning belly. I hate that, too.

-RICE =buy a rice cooker / it will cook the rice itself. make sure your mix the water and rice.

Drink filtered water every day first thing in the morning and whenever you have a minute during the day.
Use the bones from your meats or your butcher to make broth for soups. Fish heads work for fish broth too.
Apple cider vinegar, coconut oil, olive oil, tumeric, garlic, ginger, fresh herbs are all very healthy to use in cooking.

Don't eat processed foods.
Don't buy meat from walmart/target.
bake your own bread/baked goods.
grow all of your own produce that you can.
filter your water (don't drink bottled).
Cook at home as much as possible.

Basically, eat natural foods. Things that are unprocessed. Cuts of meat, vegetables, fruit, etc. Avoid added sugar, avoid junk food, pre-fab meals, etc.
