I´m trying to understand the statue of "fearless" girl in front of the bull. Why is it good? What virtues does it show? What can I learn from it? I honestly don´t get it. What do you gain when you pick up a fight with something that kills you instantly? It sounds stupid to me if your only protection is your proclaimed innocence.
women will always come along to fuck over men doing their job
the statue of the bull representing strength, endurance and focus stood alone for several years, and when women noticed it was successful, they showed up for a piece of the action
why?
notice they represent themselves as frail little girls
not strong not focused
just a little girl
for the man had to become a bull to be successful
while women are just entitled by birth to all the things men have to work for
Cameron Moore
The people behind this publicity stunt are not mentally capable of giving their """art""" the meaning that you're looking for. The whole point of this piece can be reduced to "muh strong womynz lol feminism :DD". That's literally it.

bull = evil male patriarchy girl = feminists/females with infinite virtue who can literally do no wrong
James Morales
well, but they are going to be fucked by the bull at the end.....
so you are saying they are subconsiously asking to be raped?
Adrian White
This is honestly womens' idea of showing their strength. They create a hypothetical scenario and treat it like real life. It's honestly kind of insane, it's like >how do I show how tough women are? >I'll have a little girl stand up to a big bull! >hey guys, look how tough we are, look at this sculpture It reminds me of that Crossed (I think) comic page where a women proclaiming to be a SJW kills someone who calls her out. It's an unbelievable level of total impotence.
Jace Reyes
well yes they are trying to make press the strong women angle....but what is the point here? how is it strong?
Gabriel Bell
This
It is just "what a bad-ass girl, so fearless, so inspiring" feel-good bullshit. A real bull would crush her. Might as well but the fearless girl statue in front of a T. Rex, or some Velociraptors.
I think a real artist would make a statue of a pervert jacking off. Maybe make it a water fountain that pisses on the girl. Then see how the artist of "fearless girl" likes a taste of her own medicine.
Daniel Jenkins
Fearless pervent....its brave because he is standing againts normality.
Leo Howard
wouldn't it make more sense for the girl be standing up to a bear statue?
Ethan Rogers
I think it's amazing that they can't even see the irony of it
The bull represents prosperity, and the little girl is literally standing in the way of it? How do they not see the issue of this?
The statue was put there by the company across the street. It has this written on its plaque:
>Know the power of women in leadership. SHE makes a difference.
Unlike the bull, made by an individual and placed as an artistic message, the girl was commissioned not by an individual, but by an investment fund called State Street Global Advisors, which has assets in excess of US$2.4 trillion. It was commissioned as part of an advertising campaign developed by McCann, a global advertising corporation. And it was commissioned to be presented on the first anniversary of State Street Global’s “Gender Diversity Index” fund, which has the following NASDAQ ticker symbol: SHE.
I didnt adjust the text from the plaque. SHE is capitalized because it represents their NASDAQ symbol. It has nothing to do with womens rights or equality or standing up to patriarchy. Its advertising. Thats it.
It has no artistic expression. Placed anywhere else and its a weird bronze statue. Like most women, it derives all its self worth and value from the male, in this case the male's artwork. On its own, it is devoid of all artistic integrity and value and is trash. It's a parasite sucking value and notoriety from its superior male counterpart. That is the ultimate form of this statue.

while i agree with how empty of integrity and meaning the girl statue is, the bull statue also derives it's value from context. placed anywhere else it would just be a bronze bull of no significance.
Kevin Butler
The girl alters the artist meaning and co-opts the bull. The bull is fundamentally changed with the girl placed there. Theres a huge difference in altering a piece of art compared to the placement of hte bull. Yes, the bull would require specific placement elsewhere to have a similar message, but the girl has NO value without the bull and only by corrupting the bull art piece message does the girl gain anything. It's a fucking monstrosity that should never have been allowed. Make your own art. Dont destroy history and other people's work to "create" yours.
Brayden Moore
i just see a nigger bull thats going to fuck a white girl. while white men stand around watching as their race dies.
Connor Thomas
it's just a statue, it doesn't really have deeper meaning. overthink.
Brandon White
I don't get it...if it's figurative, it's a female trying to get in the way of a symbol of prosperity?
If it's literal, it's a little girl being too stupid to realize she's standing in front of an angry 2500lb animal and in a lot of potential danger?

Women standing in the way of economic progress.
Isaac Wilson
The bull represents prosperity in the stock market (thus the term Bull Market when the economy is doing well). Stupid feminists see the bull as a symbol of the patriarchy (for some inexplicable reason) and so they made the fearless girl statue to symbolize women standing up to the patriarchy. It doesn't make any sense just like everything else feminists stand for
Owen Thompson
It's a metaphor for feminism being opposed to prosperity.
Isaac Butler
The bull represents things going well for the stock market and generally a strong economy and thus a prosperous nation and happy people.
The little girl is standing up in opposition of it.
What's the message?
Women=ruin.
Adrian Miller
Fuck it'd be amazing if someone just took a chain and strong truck and ripped that statue up, it'd have to be a minority though. White person would get ass raped by the legal system
Henry Davis
I guess liberals think a good economy is bad or something? Liberals seem to automatically think anything business related is inherently evil. It's like they listened to waaaay too much Rage Against the Machine. We're confused by it as well, Czech Mix.
Asher Jackson
I think it means bad parenting stands in the way of economic growth.
When women try to make a point through metaphor they always expose the truth unwittingly. In this instance Portugal has it, nail on the head

Those two statues together is a snapshot of a little girl committing suicide. The girl statue should be renamed to "Naive Girl."
Liam Watson
Arturo Di Modica, who had installed Charging Bull in 1989, has asked that the statue of the girl be removed, arguing that the piece exploits his work for commercial purposes and alters the perception of the bull.[22] He has called Fearless Girl "an advertising trick" that he wants relocated, citing its political messaging.[23][1] On April 12, 2017, Di Modica and his attorney, former New York Civil Liberties Union director Norman Siegel, challenged city officials who let the Fearless Girl statue be installed.[24][25] Di Modica states the statue corrupts Charging Bull's artistic integrity by distorting the intent of his statue from "a symbol of prosperity and for strength" into a villain, and does so for SSgA's commercial gain.[26][27] Siegel said a lawsuit had not been filed as of yet.[24][25] Mayor de Blasio supported keeping the statue, tweeting that "Men who don't like women taking up space are exactly why we need the Fearless Girl."[28]
Jaxson Parker
they also had this show on MTV where girls formed a club of killers and they slaughtered off "rapists" by cutting them up
Owen Powell
it's an advert there is no point it's all marxism the bull guy should have removed the bull from there fuck the ingrates
Brayden Flores
Brainless girl, heroically facing off against American prosperity.
Your points are accurate. The statue couldn't be a more perfect enshrinement of the stupidity of feminists: being impaled with absolutely no productive result.

is there somewhere an art of the bull fucking this girl?
Elijah Evans
>And that brings us to March 7th of this year, the day before International Women’s Day. Fearless Girl appeared, standing in front of Charging Bull. On the surface, it appears to be another work of guerrilla art — but it’s not. Unlike Di Modica’s work, Fearless Girl was commissioned. Commissioned not by an individual, but by an investment fund called State Street Global Advisors, which has assets in excess of US$2.4 trillion. That’s serious money. It was commissioned as part of an advertising campaign developed by McCann, a global advertising corporation. And it was commissioned to be presented on the first anniversary of State Street Global’s “Gender Diversity Index” fund, which has the following NASDAQ ticker symbol: SHE. And finally, along with Fearless Girl is a bronze plaque that reads:
>Know the power of women in leadership. SHE makes a difference.
>Note it’s not She makes a difference, it’s SHE makes a difference. It’s not referring to the girl; it’s referring to the NASDAQ symbol. It’s not a work of guerrilla art; it’s an extremely clever advertising scheme. This is what makes it clever: Fearless Girl derives its power almost entirely from Di Modica’s statue.
Ironically, the statue in its nature is completely sexist. It takes advantage of the fact that women are so eager to be represented, and this company knew that. Fucking genius, and I have no problem with it.
I am pissed off, however, that this girl statue completely fucked up the meeting that the original goal was meant to have. It's a symbol of economic prosperity, and entering a girl into it just fucks things up completely and drives the message off. He made something not at all about gender, completely inclusive into something about gender so people can whine about it. The artist to be ashamed, and the bull is still a glorious aspect of the city.
Kevin James

Isn't the bull supposed to represent a good market?
So if the girl is challenging the bull, does that mean she's trying to stop the market from going up?
Gavin Wilson
Yes.
Jason Watson
i seriously dont get the statue either. the bull represents the bull market. meaning a staggering rise in economic activity. you mean to say that women want to put a stop to that? wtf?
Aaron Peterson
The hubris of women who think they are immune from all danger if they act defiant, even a raging animal. They misunderstood that the fact men do not trample of little kids it translates into other facets of life.

It's the Liberal mentality of standing up to natural law oblivious to the serious danger of the real world.
Never the less she persisted... then died.
Oliver Morris
>The bull is supposed to represent a bull market. >This is when times are good. >Does not stand in front of the bear, which represents a bad market. >Women stand in the way for good times, not the bad
Either the artist is retarded, or this is an amazingly subtle redpill for the masses
Hudson Torres
I guess the bull looked more fierce and thus better for a photo-op
Also, what happened to the girl statue? Is it still up? Has it been lifted by dindus who were looking to make a few bucks?
Jason Sanchez
bull = a booming stock market girl = women oppose that because they're fucking retarded
